For what it's worth (and speaking as the person who usually sets up the signup and host vote process around the time the WC QFs are held), Rushmore is usually the first region to start and complete its regional tournament, and it rarely overlaps with the World Cup itself. So if there's any delay for the WC because of the regionals, we're not really the ones to blame.
