After some time, the Conservative Alliance has finally taken government, and has decided on the final details of the new Constitution and the new Prime Minister of Vapia.

The new Prime Minister is a member of the National Unity party, who was agreeable and liked by the RPOV, Matteo De Luca.

The New Constitiution has been ratified by all branches of the government, however is being protested by the left wing elements of the Senate.

A referendum, which was promised to be held in all of Vapia after the government took power, has taken place. With much of South Vapia being hard loyalists to the monarchy, and the west being the origin of the monarchy, the referendum passed with a majority.

When the news reached Rovigia, preparations began immediately for the restoration ceremony. The preparations were finished within the week. Umberto De Emmanuel, cousin of Amadeo II, the last King of Vapia, resigned from his post as party leader of the RPOV. The dream of Umberto had been fulfilled.

On July 17th, 2023, Umberto de Emmanuel The Second, took power as the new King of Vapia.

The Election results have been released, after much anticipation. For the 2 major parties, the current ruling party, P&P, scored 162 seats, barely squeaking by the seats needed for a technical majority, however, NU, rival to the P&P, scored 158 seats. CB and RPOV scored a total of 20 and 60 seats respectively, meaning that P&P only has a plurality of seats. Coalition Governance is projected to allow the NU to rule with RPOV, if the two parties can come to a agreement.
