It is noticed that in some areas the clouds are thicker than others, meaning extreme temperature control may not be necessary for some areas. the surface is warmer than being directly in the clouds, but the clouds seem to be nullifying most of the heat from the sun. therefore, building both the land and space craft to withstand extreme cold is advised

we can see this from readings from outside of the atmosphere. the temperature movement is easy to read from space.
