you can have a planet with continets like earth, heck, even a solar system like earth, but IRL earth and this region technically exist within the same timeline. If I recall correctly, Axiom is way, way in the future though.

Sorry, gonna have to shut you down on this one. I'd prefer if we didn't have spacetime rifts on our map, and with everything being so close together in Axiom, it'd be physically disastrous.
