Bhutan is a landlocked country in South Asia, located in Eastern Himalayas. The independence of Bhutan has endured for centuries and it has never been colonised in its history. Bhutan is notable for pioneering the concept of Linkgross national happiness


The Nationstates region of Bhutan follows a similar goal of becoming the happiest (Cheeriest) region in the game. All nations are welcome to Bhutan, as long as there is an intention to improve the cheerfulness of its citizens.

Letting wildfires run their course and telling people to adapt and accept nature decreases cheerfulness. :(

I guess people can't too cheerful about losing their homes....if only they could see the bigger picture.
