No, I don't think so...
To be honest I had to look that up. And I was glad to. I learned something.

I'm back. How is everyone doing? I heard about the raid.

All is well, once again.

Now, did you change your flag? I seem to recall it resembling a present. I really like this design -- simple and classy.

Good morning. In TWC we are forming a military rp, if interested in signing up just message The United Federation of Amestris

A fantastic find on Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-linguistic_onomatopoeias

Basically, it's a list of onomatopoeia from various cultures. For instance, the act of drinking might be familiar to you as "slurp" or "glug," but in German it would be imagined as "schlŘrf" or "gluck," in Indonesian as "glek glek" or "gluk gluk," or in Persian as "qolop-qolop."

I found this list endlessly interesting.

Interesting. *nods*

Indeed it is. A precious find.
How interesting to find a prevalence of the consonants - g, - l, and the vowels - o and - u.
It's exactly how it sounds when you swallowing something.
Who knows how much of our languages have similar origins. One thing is certain :sound predates language. All mammals must sound alike. Therefore language must be an imitation and the recreation of sounds that already existed.
Our range of sound making is quite limited.
The way Man framed them into mind and reason, the when and how we arranged them, that is the million-dollar question. IMHO. Being given the biological tools to utter them.
