A launch from the equator will result in more delta-v*, which will allow Japan to carry more weight, which means more payload, which means more profit."

FOREIGN MINISTRY: RETO MARSUDI DEPARTS JAKARTA TO ATTEND BAGHDAD CONFERENCE AS AN OBSERVER

The Foreign Ministry has announced the rapid departure of Foreign Minister Reto Marsudi in order to attend the Baghdad Conference regarding the Chadian Civil War. Foreign Minister Marsudi will be attending as the representative of Indonesia, but will only be an observer as Indonesia is not militarily involved in Chad. Reto Marsudi is expected to focus on supporting humanitarian efforts and not much else. Majority Leader Marina Al Anshori has directed the Foreign Minister to focus on 'helping the Chadian locals, and not on helping foreign powers gain control and influence'. Reto Marsudi will land in Baghdad in a few hours.

The Seize of Qais Ibn Zuhair street was an Ultimate victory for the National Guard capturing 600 rebels and 200 civilans
that were in hostage, what is even better is that Qais Ibn Zuhair is one the main streets to the rebelion's HQ. But the Radicals

1ST BORNEAN ARMY RECIEVES 30 MMWT HARIMAU TANKS, LEOPARD TANKS PULLED BACK TO PONTIANAK, AND ELEMENTS OF THE ARMY RAID COAL POWER COMPLEX

The Armed Forces Commission of Anti-Climate Change (AFCACC) has announced that the 15 Leopard 2A4 tanks of the 1st Bornean Army has been moved back to Pontianak for maintenance. The armored force of the 1st Bornean Army now consists of 30 MMWT Harimau tanks, which have just recently rolled off the production line. The 1st Bornean Army will be supplemented by an additional 15 MMWT Harimau tanks by February 2023. The mass production of the MMWT Harimau tanks are a result of Indonesia's choice to keep main battle tanks for 'large scale warfare' and use the Harimau, which has similar armaments, for local operations. Shortly after receiving the Harimau tanks, the 1st Bornean Army raided a coal power complex in the South Bornean jungle consisting of four coal power plants. The complex was found to be violating the new non-renewable energy production regulations in favor of better profit. The plant workers were released and will assist in tree planting operations. The plant administration and managers were all arrested on charges of destruction of environment and violating government regulations. They were sentenced to 29 years in prison and will pay $5,000 in fines each. The complex will be demolished by commercial providers and will be turned into a solar farm. As a result of this, the Indonesian economic growth index has shown that economic growth has dropped from 12% a year to 9% a year. The Prime Minister has said that economic growth will return to normal levels once Indonesia has 'returned to normal', considering the fact 94% of the population has already been vaccinated.

In the event of misinformation (accidental), I am sorry.

In the Region's lore, Covid-19's symptoms are still the same. Not sure if the UK variant (spreads faster than regular coronavirus) exists. Case numbers, vaccination statistics in the region lore differ significantly from IRL stats.

Additionally, the mention of McDonalds in this RP is not godmodding, as McDonalds Philippines is 100% Filipino-owned IRL.

          • Herd Immunity Achieved
          • Masks Remain Omnipresent
          • Mask-wearing to be voluntary in February 2023

Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic in the Philippines which has mostly subsided, over 94% of the population (including children) is now vaccinated.

A return to 2018 economic growth levels is expected this year. Flights have mostly resumed, restaurants are busy as they were before the pandemic, and mask-wearing is mandatory in most public places.

Major restaurant chains, such as Jolibee, McDonalds Philippines, Mang Inasal, Chowking, and much more still continue to sanitize regularly. Temperature checks are still commonplace; showing the nation's people and businesses aren’t joking around when it comes to Covid-19 safety.

In rare cases; some restaurant branches require janitors cleaning clogged toilets to suit up with a hazmat suit.

The Philippine government has also stated that mask-wearing will no longer be mandatory starting February 1, 2023, but still recommends wearing masks past February 1, 2023. Aside from that, life is mostly normal now in the Philippines.

Satti was a little surprised that he and the Sudanese delegation would be called first to provide a statement on behalf of Khartoum. He was nervous after all as he seemed to be one of the two actual diplomats in a diplomatic meeting who was not a part or had any career in the Armed Forces of his home countr. however Ambassador Satti was determined to not return to Sudan with an empty hand. He was instructed that despite the hostile relations between Khartoum and other certain nations in the conference, he is not to reflect the true feelings of the Sudanese government and people and keep things cool.

Ambassador Satti :| "first of all I and the Government of Sudan wish to express our gratitude to both Iraq and the United States for bringing together all the delegates of other nations involved in Chad to discus about the ongoing humanitarian crisis happening across the border from our country. And of course I want to make a statement defending Khartoum's decision to intervene in Chad. Terrorism and Extremism had always been and will always be a threat to the stability and unity of the Sudanese Republic that has had so many of her own sons and daughters bleed in the December Revolution for the current prosperity of our nation and their sacrifice shall never go in vain. Secondly there is a genocide in Chad. Thousands are fleeing into Sudan by the day, instability and anger is already brewing in Darfur. The indiscriminate bombing of enemy positions is not a way to stop genocide or even to stop a war. For every innocent Chadian slaughtered by coalition forces through the bombings, 10 more Chadians would join the fight. And that's what Sudan is here for. To find a way with all the respectable nations here to be able to better deal with the war all while not worsening the situation ourselves. Thank you again for your time and I hope to find an agreement by the end of this. I now hand the turn over to the Russian Delegation."

          Alzarikstan

Hearing the response from the Sudanese delegation, delegate of the SGRI Chief of the General Staff of the SGRI Defense Force Valery Gerasimov would turn on his microphone at his seat as his military medals and political honors from the Tsar reflected in the light. Valery Gerasimov would feel that the Sudanese sought to single out the SGRI in some of their statements; however, nonetheless, Gerasimov would remain stern faced and quiet.

Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov:

"On behalf of the people of the SGRI and the Tsar of the Russian Empire Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I am here to represent the purest of interests and intentions crafted by the Kremlin for the defeat of terrorism in the Republic of Chad, eradication of the sources of terrorist tactics, and the healing of the wounds so that everyday Chadians can be free and not fear to be free. This is not just a humanitarian crisis nor simply a human rights violation epidemic. The actions of terrorism in the Republic of Chad is enshrined in the neglect of government due to corruption, lack of infrastructure, unaddressed ethnic and religious tensions, lack of adequate water supply, lack of adequate energy supply, failure to uphold rule of law, and failure of political accountability, representation, and inclusion. The sources of Chadian terrorism are bright as day; however, they still remain neglected. The only way to combat those who commit to terrorism, rather than the actual act of terrorism, is to initiate a unilateral, multi-pronged initiative that addresses the systemic contributions to the manifestation of the evil actions of terrorism.

The goal here should not be territory expansion from personal interests on the continent of Africa but rather the desire to see Chad a fully united, sovereign country governed genuinely by the people of Chad in accordance to a structure and institutions that are recognizable by the international community and can be integrated into the international system. Terrorism and extremism has become the modus operandi...the raison d'κtre for these individuals. Us Russians know this as we have a history with combatting and being victims of these cruel actions of inhumanity. Therefore, do not expect civility from Moscow in how to address those that commit these degrees of evil and abhorrent disregard for the sanctity of life. I do agree that those that are present should not worsen the situation and that includes direct invasions across borders or the deployment of occupational forces with the intentions of remaining in the country post-civil war. This means checking your personal ambitions for the exploitation of Chad in exchange for understanding the actual needs and procedures needed to be implemented in order to save what is left of the Republic of Chad. Thank you and I now turn it over to the German delegation."

SGRI Responds to Turkish Black Sea Militarization With Modernized Caucasus-Black Sea Defense Network Connected With Western Defense Network!!

Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu Approves Modernized Caucasus-Black Sea Defense Network (CBSDN)
          DECEMBER 2022

With SGRI GEOINT and SIGINT operations in the Black Sea and Caucasus, Turkish naval build up would be brought to the attention of the SGRI National Security Council. With the recent deployments of Ranponian and Quebec Republic to OsivoII and The Ottoman National State, SGRI defense policy analysts have declared in their observations that Western aligned nations could be gearing for a potential pre-emptive strike against Moscow or particular SGRI member-states. Understanding the potential severity of the situation that has exacerbated a security dilemma now in the Caucasus, Vladimir Putin has approved Minister of Defense General Sergey Shoygu's Caucasus-Black Sea Defense Network.

The CBSDN is a comprehensive anti-ship, anti-air integrated system that looks to ensure adversarial naval and air assets are not able to enter the airspace of the SGRI or target strategic infrastructure in Russia proper via strategic implementation of modern weapon systems and radar programs in the Caucasus and Black Sea region. The CBSDN includes the following installations:

            Sevastopol Zircon Land-Based System
            Sochi Zircon Land-Based System
            Tbilisi Zircon Land-Based System
            Yerevan Zircon Land-Based System
            Sochi Bastion-P Coastal Defense System
            Sevastopol Bastion-P Coastal Defense System
            Batumi Bastion-P Coastal Defense System
            Batumi S-500 System
            Batumi S-400 System
            Sevastopol S-500 System
            Sevastopol S-400 System
            Sochi S-500 System
            Sochi S-400 System
            Yerevan S-500 System
            Yerevan S-400 System

With this installations, the SGRI would be able to strike anywhere in Lemlar at hypersonic speeds of Mach 9 in addition to the Bastion-P Coastal Defense Systems being able to target not only Turkish naval vessels in the Black Sea but also the newly constructing bases that are close to the Republic of Georgia. To further reinforce these systems, for medium and short ranges, the following systems have been tasked for incorporation into the CBSDN in Sevastopol, Sochi, Yerevan, Batumi, and Yerevan:

            9K317M 'Buk-M3' self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile systems
Tor-M1-2U all-weather low to medium altitude, short-range surface-to-air missile systems
            S-300V4 Long-range SAM systems
            2K22M Tunguska tracked self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon system

These additions are specifically intended to destroy airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, precision guided munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles and short-range ballistic threats

General Berthold would nod in some aspects in which he agreed notably the necessity of an international response. Once he is given the floor, he organises his papers perfectly organised next to his hat left on the table and turns on the microphone.

-General Berthold- : Fellow Military Men and Delegates,

As my previous speakers have said, an international response is now crucial. The situation has been escalating to dangerous levels in all areas of the conflict. Numerous militias could be running out of control despite our best efforts.

According to certain reports we have gathered, the number of refugees is increasing daily. Many have lost their homes and family. At this rate, the country will be even harder to save.

Our objective, as General Gerasimov said, is to restore the sovreignty of Chad and the etablishment of the conditions of a stable Government. For that, we need to pacify the country. Find ways to bring at least the conditions of a ceasefire that we, as an international force, can maintain.

That is the first objective Germany wants to reach. A ceasefire or at best, a truce that we, as an international force, will maintain.

We cannot build Chad while people are dying and the guns still firing.

The second objective is to maintain the territorial integrity of Chad. It must be guaranteed by this international force.

The third objective is to establish a new and elected Government that will benefit from a temporary international protection. the details, which Germany has been working in our current area -judicial reform, civil administration reform, fight against corruption and organised cirme- are things which I can explain later. The same goes for the creation of the INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL TRIBUNAL FOR CHAD under the UN CHARTER for which we believe is necessary.

I hope we can all agree to this 3 step plan.

I now give the floor to Egypt.

Prime Minister Koizumi Signs an Executive Order that will Instruct the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to Double Public School Teachers

          November 2022

The Prime Minister's Official Residence recently announced to the Press that the Prime Minister of Japan signed an Executive Order with the aim of promoting much more quality education in Japan. Now with the order signed, Prime Minister Koizumi saw his popularity soar among teachers and the population, where their approval rate has increased by 10%, now reaching 80%. Koizumi then told reporters, "Japan Education System is already one of the best in the world and now it is going to get much better. I can guarantee that this Administration will always put Education and Technology first. So, I will be doubling the number of teachers in our schools... We will value Japanese Education System even more! Thanks."

                | Special Envoy LI JINJIN: | "Officer Katungi, the government of the People's Republic of China has the very same concerns of the People's Government of Chad. We very much seek complete peace in Chad, and at that point, China would invest greatly to rebuild and re-affirm Chad's sovereignty. In order to get to that point, our strategic objectives align, I assume. A ceasefire at the very least and a full withdrawal of European troops from Chad are near goals we could accomplish, but to accomplish these goals, there needs to be a wide range of communication to ensure no extra lives are endangered. So, yes, we have made contact with several groups to ensure maximum precautions among the parties and China, to avert additional loss of life. We do not negotiate with terrorists, and if that has been implied, it is wrong."

"Our trustworthiness is of the highest. We will not betray these goals, Officer. Chad is not a testing ground, and China would cooperate with the People's Government of Chad to ensure that simple fact."

Bayern Kahla wrote:General Berthold would nod in some aspects in which he agreed notably the necessity of an international response.

Colonel General Zaki would nod as he agreed with the terms Berthold had stated, and would take a sip of water.

          | Colonel General Zaki| "I completely agree with what General Berthold has said, but I also have a few words to say. This civil war has gotten out of control, with countries who should not be here at all bombing and costing lives of Chadians who shouldn't have even been killed. We all want to make a stable government in Chad, but it must come with negotiations not bombing. We must agree on a ceasefire here and now between foreign forces, or just decide which side we will support, as clearly different countries supporting different groups is not a prime strategy for Chadian stability. I also believe that after said civil war ends, there should be no European bases or military presence left in the country. Europe has intervened, but it should only for the stability of Chad, not to spread foreign influence. I hope we all agree on this terms, and together we can ensure a safer future for this country. I now pass the floor to the Bangladeshi delegates."
