I see. I was asking since that RP was quite nice and a lot of people enjoyed it.
Well, it ultimately failed for similar reasons. It's survival was predicated on a select few people being highly active. (France or Austria)
The sandbox RP has the advantage of being a full world with many different fronts, therefore allowing different nations to create their own regional activity, regardless of what's happening in other parts of the world.
Maybe we could implement some historic RP (still sandbox) of some kind, but there doesn't seem to be as much interest. IDK.
You can do that and try to start up RP. If you get it back into it's rhythim, people might start joining.
Well, I'm not sure the inevitable drama is worth reigniting. It's fun to see a region you've built grow and do well, but with the persistent hatred from THF, I just don't want to anymore. The time, energy, and money needed to restart this region just doesn't seem worth it.
The drama will return, as it always does, and I'm just not up for it anymore. I know much of it was self-induced, as I did cause or inflame the drama at times. I don't blame THF for anything, as they are an extension of my own mistakes, though I am glad to be rid of much of them. Regardless, characterizing them as one organized unit is hardly representative of what is really a mob of bored teens prone to independent and indiscriminate harassment.
Oh, well. Times change.

I'm gone for good after July 29th when I leave for boot camp. Any decisions made on here are very short term.
Oh well ok. It's fine. At the end of the day, I had already got this was a dead region. What a shame. That's the end of a beautiful region. However, bye guys. It was a pleasure.

I don't know how to say this so this will sound really weird but
1 year ago I logged onto my account after about a week of not using it, so that make sure it didn't cease to exist. I checked my telegrams and thought I would join this region called Despotic Europe because it looked slightly interesting but I would probably just become inactive because of boredom. However, upon my arrival something about its roleplay intrigued me. I don't know if it was the potential of the roleplay or maybe the community (Borgerland was pretty nice to me when I joined). Anyways, I decided to join the map and I spawned in Africa. After spending a couple days in the region, I felt pretty welcome (although AM and NV always scared me). I eventually made friends in here (some people probably didn't consider me a friend even if I considered them one though). Something about this friendship felt different than the other online "friendships" I formed. This was after I was essentially driven off a platform by a bunch of people when I tried to join their community. So this new community really felt special to me.
Thank you Kingdom of bradonia for creating the great region that was Despotic Europe.
