BREAKING: Mostly Peaceful Waterborne Protests!
Hundreds if not thousands of dinghies, makeshift rafts, and fishing boats have surrounded several of the Hollefjordish owned Oil Rigs in Wadiya.
Civilian and Wadiyan Authority helicopters have the area covered and surveyed from above.
Small arms fire has been noted to come from the crowded waterways around the Rigs.
None of the gunfire is directed at the oil rigs or the helicopters over the scene but merely up into the air as of now.
Most of the crowds aboard their vessels seem to be unarmed and with pickets, shouting and yelling.
Many more thousands of people have been stranded ashore without vessels and currently block most of the beachline.
Talks of action needed against the remaining “Tourist” imperialists in Wadiya have been had over the last few months on what little social media Wadiya has.
CSAT IH-13 helicopters have been spotted rising from the main harbor.
CSAT peacekeepers are seen preparing to mount a full scale response to the mostly peaceful protestors peacefully besieging the oil rigs as the peacekeeping forces begin to set up kettling positions and rooftop snipers more inland.
The protests have been going on for nearly 2 hours and we have confirmed that CSAT is reaching a remarkably fast mobilization time of nearly all Peacekeeping forces in Wadiya to support the Wadiyan authorities in this developing issue.
On a more alarming note; here’s footage from a Times of Wadiya helicopter capturing the scene of a seemingly armed man beginning to climb onto one of the oil rigs from the crowded waters below him.
Security Forces called in response to protests
Following the protests and shots directed a the oil rigs, all operations have been suspended. Workers have been told to seek shelter inside while the private security forces have been called to deal and counter all attacks. The armed security forces have orders to shoot at anyone unauthorized that comes within 15m radius from the rigs, and mainly against armed protesters who actually pose a major threat. The current conditions are too dangerous and unstable for the work to continue. Shots have been exchanged with some of the boats that got shot at, turning around after realizing they could be sunk.
Support of the Protests
[i]With the peaceful protests in wadiya against Hollefjordish oil rigging in the region, as well as the denunciation of the rigs existence in previous days, the KCP has officially stated their support of the protests, stating that "It's the duty of every citizen to stand against economic imperialism, and to protect their soveirgnty". The KCP itself has yet to put forth any action, not wanting to incite tensions in the already volatile region, however have hardened their anti Hollefjordian rigs in Saleria stance.
The True Imperials Rise
Given the disastrous governance from the Galicans, which included, but was not limited to Administrative Neglect. The peoples living in the area overthrew the government. Severing ties with Konzask officially, and declaring the land to be a Constitutional Monarchy, with the first Emperor, Philipicos reigning. Since their official formation, they have reached out to 
Minachia for support, proclaiming to share in their imperial heritage, and glory.

While officially denouncing Konzask a few of the parliamentary members have secured a vote under wraps to continue trade deal with the socialists, should they accept despite the governmental differences.

As Yonnatan begins to pull himself up onto the freebase of the Oil Rig he begins to hear gun fire erupt from above him.
So much for negotiating on behalf of the protestors with the Hollefjordish.
5.56 rounds rip through the air from the main platform above him; down towards armed targets littered and mixed into crews of unarmed protestors and their crafts.
There was no way for anyone involved to have figured at what distance the Hollefjordish would begin their defenses. Let alone to think something like an Oil Rig having combustion based weapons.
Goldbloom curses the Hollefjordish for not announcing that they had arms and are willing to use them at a greater distance for the natives involved in the whole affair. He doesn’t get much more time to dwell in his own head as 2 Hollefjordish SecOps guards rush down the staircase from the main platform towards the freebase.
Many of the wholly unarmed boats, upon being fired at or seeing boats near them get fired upon, begin to panic. This causes a domino effect of catastrophic proportions as they begin to ram into each other in an attempt to feel. Some of the craft with armed men on them hold their ground and begin to return fire with STG57s and other small arms back towards the Rig.
The two armed guards approaching the freebase spot Goldbloom and begin to bark orders towards him in Hollefjordish as they begin to drop into cover behind railings and bear their MKs at his position.
He didn’t care anymore.
Especially not for foreign barbarians. He had plenty of domestic ones to deal with.
He draws his .50 AE, all silver plated, officer’s hand cannon. Although he’s out of his prime and not the shot he used to be, all those years in the military removed any sort of hesitation from him.
Right as the first guard lets a round of 5.56 sizzle through the air past Goldblooms right ear; he begins to magdump all 7 rounds in his .50 AE. The first shot misses, hitting the railing next to one of the guards. Sending steaming hot shrapnel from the fat handgun round and fragments of the railing into the guard’s face. The next one goes wide as well before the third blows the second guard’s arm off CLEAN. He realizes he has a lot of pain in his chest just as the second guard goes down by the time he overshoots their general position. He’s been shot. His chest plate had taken two rounds into it. He knows that the pain is only going to get worse from here. His wrists burn from the sheer recoil of his silver cannon. The agonized crying from the guard who got shrapnel in the face and the deathknells of the man he had delivered the fatal amputation to is something he can barely hear over the fire fight and screaming civilians below and above.
He’s getting too old for this.
He quickly flips open his front plate’s pouch and grabs onto the plate. Sliding it out and tosses it over the railing he had just climbed. Quickly ejecting the empty magazine from his .50; sliding into the next one and cocking the handcannon. He then unclips his chest rig and tosses it off. Quickly taking a knee and withdrawing the back armored plate from its pouch. He slides it into the front pouch and tosses his chest rig back on.
It’s time to end this. The better man in him knew this was a one way ticket anyways.
He sets off towards the staircase and the downed guards by them.

BREAKING: Oil Rig protests turn catastrophic as Hollefjordish Security open fire!
Reports are flooding in as the protest vessels panic, scramble and crash into eachother as Hollefjordish private security open fire into the vessels below at point blank range. Waiting until the vessels had reached within a 20 to 15 meter radius of the closest rig to shore before shooting down into vessels.
Wadiyan police vessels, initially trying to make their way through the protestors to create a buffer zone between the oil rig’s free base and the protestors, are now engaging in fire fights with Hollefjordish securities and doing boarding actions upon crafts to detain protestors and armed thugs.
CSAT’s IH-13 helicopters, apparently last minute jerry-rigged with the SKUNK crowd control systems, begin to douse protestors closest to the rigs with the chemical streams and pressurized water to deter them.
Meanwhile the Wadiyan Authority announces a state of emergency and invites CSAT to mobilize to any degree in order to settle the matter.
This call from the Wadiyan Authority comes quite late as CSAT peacekeepers have already been leading a pincer and kettle maneuver in regards to the shore-stranded crowds of protestors.
More concerningly it appears that the man climbing the rig nearest to the shore has engaged in a close quarters firefight against the guards after they opened fire upon the crowds below. Here’s aerial footage from the Times of Wadiya helicopter. You can see he has armed himself with two Hollefjordish rifles and is atop the main platform. He seems to have gotten pinned down as the security forces outnumber him and have overwhelmed him with firepower.
The situation had seemingly escalated greatly when the Hollefjordish private security opened fire at point blank range into the crowds.
CSAT officials state they will take comments once the situation is resolved.
Konzask Threatens Intervention
With the situation in Wadiya deteriorating by the second, the KCP has officially threatened Hollefjord with intervention on the side of the Wadiyan government and protestors, citing that if "Hollefjord can't get the security on their rigs under control, and refuse to even attempt to solve the issue diplomatically, Konzask will officially get involved". As such the armed forces have been put on stand by, with the KCP stating that it will be willing to coordinate with Wadiya, with permission from the Wadiyan government, stating that "Unlike hollefjord, we are willing to work with wadiya, rather then against".
BREAKING: OIL RIG CATASTROPHE
This just in! The Oil Rig which first fired into the crowd has combusted into a massive fireball. No more than 300 meter radius in the initial explosion. Cooking untold amounts of panicking protestors and Wadiyan Maritime Police officers under and around it.
Wadiyan Maritime Police boats are seen retreating from the area; some with detained or rescued protestors aboard.
A Corvette,”Just Read the Instructions”, under CSAT can be seen arriving quite a way’s out onto the scene. It’s already deployed smaller naval patrol vessels which try to rush the 10 kilometers to the scene.
All CSAT patrol assets have been activated and are responding to the situation from the main harbor, passing the returning Police craft, and beginning full scale search and rescue operations.
Less combat oriented CSAT rotary craft, in bench and pod configuration, begin to rush to the scene as well.
The scenario has quickly descalated from armed confrontation to a complete rescue operation. The public at large seems to have become tame in regards to the protestors and many involved and not involved in the event are beginning to volunteer to help CSAT rescue as many as they can.
The situation as catastrophic as it seems is being handled.

[2 km from shore and the city, and 3 km from the closest rig]
An operator from the top secret, non-government, Seraphim eugenics program had busted into the compound used by the head organizers of the Anti-rig protests.
He proceeded to get into a gun fight and murder all but one of the individuals in the compound.
The last one, a red haired woman from Eretz, was recognized by him as a member of Unit 4:04 Murmur Team.
She pointed him to the location of the 20mm anti-material static rifle’s case awaiting his arrival.
The Murmur agent proceeded to evacuate from the compound as he perched up and began to set up the weapons platform atop the compound’s roof.
With the help of the Zionian Smartfire optic and his “assistant” back in Zion, linked to him via his helmet’s receiver, he began to quickly “find” the right shot to take.
His “assistant” had hijacked several news feeds from the helicopters in the area to help in “finding” the right shot.
Within about 60 seconds of target acquisition, Seraphim 746, had let loose an incendiary shell which nailed it’s mark, a siphon tube connected to the drilling apparatus.
This caused a catastrophic chain reaction which led to the explosion of the entire rig within the millisecond the round found it’s new home.
Seraphim 746 had destroyed the static with the use of plastic explosives and began to exfil from the compound mere moments after the shot.
Hollefjordish Government Speaks Out
The Hollefjordish Government has spoken out regarding the situation on the oil rigs as “gotten out of control”. The statement made by the government was that “Wadiya has also failed to keep any violence against the oil rigs under control. The security openfire however should have been targeted against the armed attacks and should have warned the protestors first before shooting. Höllefjord is open to more talks with Wadiya once they agree to condemn these attacks and have the governments settle this in a more diplomatic way to avoid farther confrontation.”
At the sight of Wadiyan Maritime Police boats some of the detained protestors rioters that made it onto the oil rig were handed over to the Wadiyan Police by the Private Security Forces. As things deescalate the security and workers feel like business might be able to go back to normal now that the responsibility has been transferred over.
The explosion has caused a massive fire to break out with dozens just able to escape, some ending up on dry land while most getting on boats to another rig. The Security regroups preparing for another potential standoff.
Kemet gives vocal support to the Protesters!
In recent months, Kemet has been attempting to end the international movements against it, and as such, has toned down it's anti western rhetoric, and is instead calling on all nations to accept self determination. Kemet has called on Holleford to accept financial compensation for the oil rigs, and respect the independence of Wadiya. No movement of troops has begun, and the Pharaoh has stressed it will not escalate tensions.
Additionally, the reconstruction of Neria is going well. The Pharaoh Apocris has paid particular attention to the reconstruction of small business, establishing government backed grant organisations, who provide non repayable grants to aspiring businesses. It is hoped, that this economic model will help jumpstart the Nerian economy. Politically, Neria's parliament has undergone a refurbishment, with the ultimate intention of restoring a semblance of democracy. In the Kemetian government, many civil servants have jokingly said "Our Liege is treating Neria greater than he treats us!"
Essotori's Position on the Berensky Union (When it was formed)
Essotori has strongly condemned the Berensky Union, citing that it is a great shame for Konzask, a nation with many respectable qualities, to interconnect themselves with Quangsuh "the black hole of money and trust." Essotori has once again praised Minachian efforts. Essotori believes that this Berensky Union shall not last long. Essotori has also called on the UN to sanction the already suffering Quangsui nation for continuing to invade Nurasolvsk, and because their false Democracy has no principles.
Konzaskan Intervention
With the situation seeming to cool in Wadiya, with local authorities seeming to slowly be grasping the situation Konzask, rather then send military intervention in the aid of Wadiya, has opted to request the permission of the Wadiyan government to send humanitarian aid in the form of deploying military doctors to Wadiya, vessels to help search and clean Wadiyas waters from the oil rig's explosion to the best of their abilities, as well as dispatch a small garrison sect to aid Wadiyan law enforcement in handling the situation, including giving the peaceful protesters an added level of protection from the "Holy unjustified brutality of Hollefjordish security forces". In solidarity with the protesters as well, the Konzaskan Embassy in Wadiya has opened itself up as a safe place for protesters to rest and receive medical attention if need be.
Royally Removing the Trash
Following the unplanned announcement of severance from Konzask. Philipicos made a statement, and recommendation to the Parliament, and people of Byzantinius to not spurn the kindness of Konzask so quickly as they have supported them even when the old Galican government had stopped. As such he exercised with a majority Parliamentary vote his ability to reverse the PM’s decision to sever ties with Konzask. Issuing a formal apology to the nation of Konzask. Meanwhile, the PM was deposed of, and had to be removed from office by force. He was later imprisoned for the discovery of illicit activities on his computer.
Quangsuh Deals with Hollefjord
While the situation develops in Wadiya, Quangsuh gives no opinion on the matter. However it offers Hollefjord an alternative. A series of deals have been offered to the Hollefjordian government in order to increase relations between the countries that have become increasingly similar over the years, as well as an effort to appease the nations involved in the 2nd Wadiya Crisis.
First Deal:
If Hollefjord abandons its rigs and interests in Wadiya the Quangsui government will give ownership and operating licences to a series of newly constructed sweet crude oil rigs off the coast of the Narodnaya and Sakhalin Regions in Quangsui-Nuraslovask. This deal will also be accompanied by a shore base for Hollefjordish workers in the city of Sakhalin as well as protection by the QPLA Navy. This is in order to appease all parties in the 2n Wadiyan Crisis, while also boosting the local communities economies in NR-Quangsuh. While this deal has been deemed as "expensive, but ensuring the safety of Hollefjordian personnel, business and economic prosperity".
Second Deal:
The second deal to Hollefjord is of larger magnitude. Noticing Hollefjords shortfalls in arable land and the insecurities with it in food supplies, the Quangsui government in conjunction with the regional governments has offered (with hollefjord funding) to clear massive swathes of forest to create farmlands, which would then be cultivated by local New Russians who are most experienced with the land. The workers will be required a base Quangsui wage paid for by either the Hollefjordian government or the oil company, but this is thought an acceptable trade off for the large quantities of food Hollefjord will recieve.
Trade offer to Essotori and the Byzantinius
The Quangsui Government wishes to enter talks with these nations over potential trade, additionally if politics form too much of an issue there is also a selection of Quangsui Businesses that are willing to get involved with their own trade to better their own goals.
A Response
The PM of Byzantinius after discussions were had, reached a consensus to accept these talks. They however inform Quangsuh that given their national mishaps with their invasion, the deal may be skewed against them in talks to insure the continued growth of Byzantium in the global stage. They make a note that reports have rendered the outlook on Quangsuh diplomatically unfavorable.
Hollefjord accepts deal with Quangsuh
Hollefjord has accepted the deal proposed by Quangsuh, the first action will be to send Hollefjordish troops into NR to scope it out and watch the political situation. The troops will be under the impression and guise of UN peacekeepers and will maintain order in overseeing the next part of the deal. Once the peacekeepers reach Quangsuhi soil, the second deal will be enacted. Following the incidents with Wadiya the deal will ensure protection by the QLA navy and the freedom for Hollefjordish interests off the shore. This is one of the few deals that will bring Quangsuh under the economic influence of a highly developed country as well as a national backing from the Quansuhi Government that will not cause any of the same controversies as the oil rigs in Wadiya.
Treka issues late condemnation of Höllefjordish Oil Companies
After days of silence the Trekan Government has released an official statement backing the Wadiyan Protesters involved in this weeks aggressive confrontation in North Selaria. Treka further condemned the actions of the Höllefjordish Oil Corporation involved in the incident. “They jumped the gun, protection is one thing, shooting protesters is another. It’s heinous enough, opening fire on protesters of a developing country who's resources you are exploiting is unbelievable. The Adminstration of President Adebayo and a United Trekan Congress extend their condolences to the people affected by the tragic mass murder.” Trekan officials have brought up the plan to heavily sanction the company but they are wary of hurting the good relationship with Hollefjord. But they assure actions will be taken. Protests erupted around Treka calling for the same retaliation against the company that officials are discussing. As the Höllefjordish government accepts a proposal to move the operation to the Quangsui coast, the question arises, will the company be held fully accountable?
Minachia Condemns Höllefjordish Oil Companies, Reluctantly Supports Protestors
In a joint statement by the Bureau of Foreifn Affairs and resolution by the Senate, the Empire has officially condemned Höllefjordish Oil for its economic imperialism in Wadiya and for its incitement of the violent protests which ended in tragedy a few days ago as the company’s oil rig exploded. However, Minachia does not wholly remove blame from the protestors themselves, stating that their initial assault of the oil rig was the firespark (pun not intended) which ultimately led to the explosion; nevertheless, the Government tacitly condones the justified anger of the Wadiyans against the Höllefjordish. Furthermore, Imperial Navy vessels in the area have been placed on high alert - although they avoided intervening directly in the situation - and Minachia has called for a nonpartisan investigation into the cause of the oil rig’s spontaneous combustion.
Response to Byzantinius
The Imperial Government, while glad that the socialist regime of Galica has fallen, has denounced the new “imperial” regime of “Byzantinius,” with a Palace official stating that: “King Philipicos’s declaration of himself as an “emperor” is nothing short of an offense and insult to our country and our one and only August, Pious, Blessed, and Unconquered Emperor, long may he reign. There is no ‘shared imperial heritage’ between us and that former province; you’d have a better time convincing us that the Grand Prince of Vanya, who spent several years living in our country and who has married into the Imperial Family, should be given the same honor and status as His Imperial Majesty. Philipicos is an illegitimate ruler, through and through.” Furthermore, the Bureau of Foreign Affairs has refused to formally recognize the new government of the country.

The Emperor has ordered for the Foreign Intelligence Service (IS3) to draft up plans to have the illegitimate “emperor” of Byzantinius assassinated, or to otherwise destabilize the new regime and establish something more favorable to maintaining the Empire’s superior status. While some within the Service and the Government in general see this as a bit silly and unnecessary, many also are angry at what seems to be a deliberate affront to the nation and an attempt to unjustly steal Minachia’s historic and current glory.
Wadiyan Provisional Authority Responds
Minister Select of the Wadiyan Authority, Abdulrahman Jamai, gave a press conference today in front of the Wadiyan Parliament building.
He praises Wadiyan first responders and gives a thousand thanks to local CSAT forces for their unexpected haste in regards to the emergency situation.
After this initial speech of praises; he proceeds to announce the casualties recovered from the Rig explosion.
Over 211 crispy corpses were recovered. 10 of which were identified as Wadiyan Maritime Police officers. An estimated minimum of 200 people are still missing.
Another 47 Hollefjordish persons are estimated to have died in the initial explosion plus another 17 as far as Security forces are concerned.
He announces a memorial shall be built for the peoples who died in this catastrophe and thanks the protestors for their passion in protest and sensibility in the case of emergency.
He finishes his address by promising Wadiya that as it transitions into a free and independent nation state; ALL of its sovereignty will be returned and protected. Hinting at the rigs.
When asked for comment in regards to the address and call from the Hollefjordish government he simply replied
“It is a tragedy; what cold weather can do to the mind of Man.”
When further asked in regards to the aid the Konzaskans are offering so kindly. He responded with
“Should these kind strangers care enough for our sands, it’ll only warm our hearts to see them aid in our time of need; under the humble banner of CSAT.”
Unlike the Wadiyan Authorities, the Obungundan CSAT Speaker Elect, only comments that;
"We reserve words for when the deeds are done."

The remaining oil rigs get a comms hail from the CSAT corvette which rushed to the scene during the catastrophe; now positioned between the ruins of the first rig and the rigs that remain. A CSAT flag proudly flying from it’s crow’s nest.
“This is Captain Galahad, of ZFV ‘Just Read the Instructions’, operating at the request of the Wadiyan Provisional Authority and under the jurisdiction of CSAT. I am being requested by the Wadiyan Authorities to aid all hollefjordish personnel in evacuating the remaining oil rigs and being escorted to CSAT HQ here in Wadiya. We worry for your safety. Please respond.”
Aid on the Road
With Wadiya recently accepting the KCP's offer of aid, Konzask has officially begun sending over what it promised. That being field doctors (and by extent, extra medical equipment), vessels to help clean the Wadiyan waters from the wreckages of the oil rig wreck and a small amount of Konzaskan garrison units to aid Wadiyan law enforcement, and ensure the protection of the peaceful protestors, with the KCP also clarifying that while in Wadiya, said garrisons are to respond and take orders directly from Wadiyan law enforcement, and Wadiyan officials to ensure peaceful, temporary cohesion until the situation is completely pacified. The aid is to be escorted by four Gorsoko Class destroyers, headed by the PLV (Peoples Liberation Vessel) Temper.
The Konzaskan Embassy as stated before, has officially opened it's doors as a refuge for protesters. As well as in a sign of solidarity, outside the embassy the Wadiyan flag is being flown higher then the Konzaskan flag (both flags normally being flown at the same height). The KCP also officially stated that "Ever since Wadiyas independence, at the end of Hao's reign and end of the Quangsuh civil war, Konzask has recognized, and extended it's hand of friendship to Wadiya, we have promised to protect our comrades independence, and we will with out hesitation aid our Salerian comrades in their time of need". The KCP has also re-iterated their statement, stating Hollefjord's presence in Wadiya is illegitimate, and the grossest form of Economic Imperialism, and have yet again, condemned Quangsuh for "Offering Compensation for Criminals". Konzask, being a member of the UN humans rights council, has also put forward a petition for human rights council member nations to also send humanitarian aid to Wadiya. Also being being in the UN International Court of Justice, Konzask has proposed the possibility of holding the company behind the hollefjordish rigs accountable for the "Innocent lives taken in Wadiya".

With the humanitarian aid being sent to Wadiya, the OKN has officially been ordered to stow away with the garrison units and field doctors, to be deployed in Wadiya.
Updates
Essotori has been remarkably silent on the question of Wadiya, since the Juiland Conference was hosted to promote peace. No doubt, the Ascendancy has been enjoying the peace that the Conference has mandated, though the Ascendancy's eyes have shifted to the Höllefjordish oil rigs, maintained off Wadiyan shores. Directly seizing them would contravene Essotori's political goals, and make the state an obvious target. Though, Essotori does not trust easily, and so would be satisfied with the new Wadiyan regime reasserting control. The Höllefjordish government is deeply Entarian, though is more rebellious, and less graceful in it's manipulations. In the minds of the Ascendancy aristocracy, the newly minted Höllefjord - Quangsuh Axis presents a large threat to Essotori power projection. As such, Essotori has tentatively shifted it's foreign policy towards Konzask. In the words of the Foreign Minister
"The Ascendancy welcomes all with honourable spirit to treat, the nation of Konzask is invited to share in the boundless fruits of Socialism, under the Nozerod's light."
The theory of Essotori Socialism is very alien, though when dealing with Marxist societies, Essotori will frequently tout it's left wing elements to curry favor. While the governmemnt has not overtly opted for a trade deal, that may come in the future. Essotori has declined trade with the new Quangsui regime, citing instability. The new regime is deeply new, and the last time Essotori commited it's assets to assist Quangsuh, it was for naught.
In answer to the Protests, the Essotori Foreign Minister stated
"With each day, just as the sun rises and falls, Entaria preys upon it's victims. The demonic, parasitical evil in the soul of each Entarian cannot be quashed, for it is a rabid beast. Only total spiritual destruction and remolding is enough. Essotori stands in solidarity with the protesters, heroically resisting Imperialism."
The hand of Friendship
With the friendly foreign policy towards Konzask displayed by Essotori, despite the decline of the trade deal, the KCP has stated their excitement to work in the future with their new "Holy Comrades". The KCP would also take the time to reaffirm Konzask's foreign policy, stating "Government and Ideology alone does not dictate who we choose to work with, or choose not to work with, if we did we would not be as close to the Trimainian state as we are now. We chose our friends and allies and based off of potential and merit, and we can already safely state that unlike Quangsuh, Essotori is a state of true merit".
In a sign of friendship towards Essotori, Konzask has begun renovating hardly used churches, or churches already scheduled for renovation, and converting them to the Neozard cult in their worship on the island provinces of Berrice, Korodnia and Sobhuzia. As the address comes to an end 417 patrol boats under the Wadiyan Maritime Police speed out of their readied positions at the main harbor.
They skip through waves of oil-stained waters and stream past the Corvette anchoring between the ruins of the lost oil rig and the rest of the operating rigs.
They shortly surround each of the remaining rigs and begin to declare a boarding action to the crews.
They storm the rigs hoping to arrest the Hollefjordians and return them safely home.
