Monarchy is honestly a backwards system imo.

In reality the Royal Family are more like the Kardashians but just more inbred I guess. Charles is the danger though because he would like to seize actual power for himself

lol yeah, but they still do have a lot of power, the queen can technically overthrow the democratic system with a snap

im american i dont know this stuff lol

Me neither.

I would look into stuff but I don't really care.

I have changed my flag to a US-UK flag in honor of some old dude who died who got genetically lucky to be born into a superpowerful family

yeah i sent you a telegram btw

Yeah but she is popular because she never really uses her powers and respects Democracy but Charles sees himself more as a Monarch from the 17th century. I believe his Uncle Edward was similar despite abdicating and wrote love letters to Hitler about placing him back on the throne after the new world order was established by the Third Reich

Yeah, I don't see the monarchy going any time soon.

Not necessarily, a monarchy functioning alongside a healthy democracy does work well.

With the Monarchical institution offering a bedrock of political stability while the democratic institutions allow the people to govern themselves freely.

If anyone can make a flag then please message me. Thanks.

Technically you should all be changing your flags to Greek in honour of Philip and remember the British Family are just Germans who like fish and chips

I NEED TO JOIN THE TEMPLE OF PINEAPPLE NOW

I hope NI doesn’t leave.

Works well with the current queen but the success depends on who's reigning at the time? If Meghan was queen then you would have to all get on one knee to her Royal Wokeness and watch Suits

The issue is that there's no true need for it, I personally do not see how monarchs create stability in any way, the royal family in the UK is mainly kept for tourist purposes and other small things. I honestly can't wait for the day they become a republic. No offense to monarchists I'm not judging but these are my thoughts.

The united england

the streets are looking very somber I must say, I was at work setting up for Monday and when the news came in it got all weird and sad :/

then the radio stopped and played the national anthem

Does this make sense to wear as my flag? Prince Philip was born in Greece and he met the Queen when he moved to England.

Nedmaex wrote:I hope NI doesn’t leave.

It's inevitable. The walls are coming down from the Troubles. Less religious divide and people get sick of being ruled by London. Scotland will leave first though for sure

Libertandonien

The rmb dissapoints me smh

I hope it gets better after I come back

why does it disappoint?

I wish Australia would grow a pair of balls and become a republic as well

I wouldn't word it like that but I agree.

Well I mean he wasn’t anymore Greek than he was British.
