Update on the status of Havana Redesign

An extension is set to be added the original Havana redesign plan as climate change affects the city through natural disasters and flooding.

Today the City of Havana has announced the addition of a new district to be built as part of the Havana redesign project, This district will be a floating district based on the Oceanix design. The reasoning for the sudden addition of the Floating District (Los Urbe De Mar) to the plan was because of the rising risk of flooding towards the city and the rising sea levels that may soon submerge the city. Along with this the new apartments and building being built for the redesign are going to now include flood protection and hurricane protection as the risk of another Hurricane Ida could devistate the city.

The President Tito Guevara stated in an interview with the Cuban Post "It has become more and more apparent every year that climate change poses a real threat to island nations like our grand nation. The only way to secure our future as a major power in Latin America is to fight back against the horrible circumstances we have been put in. We shouldnt give up and this expansion of Havana will be very important to preserving not only our status but also securing the future of our youth to live in a prosperus and stable nation."

President Akbas Announces Bid for Re-election

In the wake of a rally held by the government's main opposition the Turkish Communist Party (TKP), President Akbas made clear that he will seek a second term as president. The communist party rally drew an estimated crowd of 20 thousand people which sent a stark warning to the Akbas and his party that their position is not quite as safe as they'd like to believe. TKP central committee chairwoman and opposition candidate, Isra Ozdemir, is set to face off against Akbas next June. In her speech at the rally, she accused the government of silencing political opposition and 'embracing a culture that will create a breeding ground for fascism'. The president called the accusations a 'bold-faced lie' and added that such language should be disqualifying for any candidate seeking the highest office in the land.

The two are set to face off in June of next year. Other smaller parties have also announced their intentions to field candidates in the election which has generated concerns in both the government and the opposition that rogue third party candidates could syphon votes away from their people and cost them the election.

Stand off at Shikot Police Stattion

While Security Forces of Shikot were preoccupied by the unrest and riot, the IRA leadership saw their opportunity and ordered a group of IRA Fighters to attack the Shikot Police Station and gather up more supplies and intel to use against the Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics.

Thinking of a plan, the leader of the raid gather up his men for 50 men and ordered them to kidnap a few civilians to use as an insurance for the completion of their mission. Getting the needed civilians, which they were able to get 8 civilians kidnapped as insurance, the raid group enters their vehicles with the civilians tied to ensure them not escaping and ride off to the Police Station. Arriving in front of the police station, the raid group get out of their vehicles with weapon in hands and the civilians in front of them and begin their attack on the Police HQ.

In the end there were very little resistance by the officers inside the police as there very little of them and they were not risking to injure the civilians and surrendered. Gaining control of the Police Station, the raid group split up into two groups, one watching over the civilians and police officers whil the other looted the place for weapons, intels, etc. getting what they wanted, the raid group was just about to leave the station when suddenly, a their exit was blocked by police officers.

Now at a stand off, the police and the IRA negotiated for the release of the civilians and police officers captured by the IRA. Unable to come to understanding, the two group almost went violent until the Leader of the raid group state they would release all the civilians and most officers captured except the highest ranking one as insurance. Relenting, the civilians and police officers were real eased soon after except the highest ranking one, after which the police officers open up the barricade which let the IRA members, with weapons and intels in tow to leave.

Spreading out as to not be followed, the raid leader then released the rest of the police officers as promised and left them by the side of the road. With the raid complete and successful, the men sent the captured weapons and intel to the main base using IRA couriers while the men must stay separated for now as to not give out the location of the base to the Police.

Prime Minister Nilsson criticised the Turkish response to Sweden's bid to join NATA. "Yes, we intend to join NATA. But the fact that we would be accused of harbouring terrorists, as a liberal and democratic state, is unacceptable. We do not harbour- nor support- terrorists, tacitly or not. Minister Selim has blatantly insulted the Swedish people and we demand an apology immediately."
The PM also expressed willingness to negotiate, but on certain terms- "We are willing to negotiate and cooperate with NATA member states to resolve the situation as long as the President Akbas- or Minister Selim, for that matter- apologise for their baseless, uncalled for and unreasonable accusations of Swedish support for terrorist groups."

FEDERAL LEGISLATURE PASSES LAW THAT REMOVES THE DEATH PENALTY FOR SPECIFIC CRIMES

Previously, the death penalty was used for heinous crimes committed across the Republic of China. Up to today, when the Anti-Revenge Act was passed, any convict that was sentenced to death row due to a intentional killing was able to be put to death. With the passing of the Anti-Revenge Act, any crimes that involve the intentional killing of another person will not result in the convict in question being put to death. The convict will serve their sentence without chance of parole. The convict will be forced to serve the entire sentence that they were given by the courts. It's felt by many citizens across China that serial murderers that end up on death row do not face the justice they deserve due to being put to death. Many ministers in the Federal Legislature agreed, leading to the passing of the Anti-Revenge Act. President Ma has touted this law and the previous law regarding fraud and theft a fundamental first step in changing the Chinese justice system for the better.
----------------------------------------
PRESIDENT MA STATES THAT ONE KEY PLAN PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED WILL NOT BE MET WITHIN FIVE YEARS

In the most recent Five Year Plan of the Republic of China, the easing of tensions and the establishment of stronger ties between the Republic of China and the Eastern Soviet Union was mentioned as key part of the Five Year Plan. This, however, will not be the case according to comments by President Ma. He was quoted in a press meeting saying:

"While I would enjoy closer relations between China and the Eastern Soviet Union, we are just too different. We both view each other as illegitimate in one way or another and that would only interfere with very close relations. Unless the government was to change in the Eastern Soviet Union to something equivalent of the old Qing Empire or something that is present in the Republic of China, close relations will not happen in five years time. Perhaps not even ten years time. That being said, however, we are still willing to work with the Eastern Soviet Union in order to allow citizens to travel as freely as possible to see family members and do work."

It is unclear as to how the Eastern Soviet Union will react to this comment by President Ma, but he has said that he isn't worried about their response. He states that it is not only his belief, but the belief of the majority of the Federal Legislature, and as well as the citizens of China. He has also stated a specific plan on China's future with the Eastern Soviet Union will be published in the near future detailing what Chinese officials believe the best course of action is to meet that previously mentioned goal of closer relations with the Eastern Soviet Union, but within a timeframe of at least fifteen to, at most, thirty years.

"Japanese Resistance Party" classed as hate group following hate crimes

By Deng Yan
5 minute read

HYŎNGMYŎNG-SI — The Ministry of Investigations has classified the Japanese Resistance Party (JRP) as a hate group following its commission of many incidents that have been characterized as hate crimes over the past week.

The People's Investigatory Service has officially opened a criminal investigation towards the far-right political entity, which has sworn to "expel" all members of the Japanese ethnicity from the island. Current estimates places membership within the JRP at approximately 8,000 people.

Looting and destruction of property held by Japanese members of society have occurred throughout the many towns and villages on the island, performed by armed gangsters who threatened their targets with knives and cudgels. Streets of businesses saw their glass display windows smashed and merchandise stolen in broad daylight. Preliminary investigations show that at least $10 million USP in property damage or stolen goods has been suffered by the local economy.

Reports emerging from Shikot (Chitose) suggest that a Japanese couple was defenestrated from a sixth-floor window by a group of JRP fighters, who broke into their apartment flat in the middle of the night. The couple were critically injured but luckily survived the altercation. 2 of the perpetrators were later arrested. These instances of JRP gangs attacking Japanese households in their homes are not unheard of in the current climate - the Ministry of Investigations reported that 44 of such assaults had occurred over the last week, which injured 62 and killed 3. Many others reported suffering cases of assault, intimidation, and harassment on the streets.

However, regrettably, the overstretching and continous wearing-down of law enforcement officers from weeks of civil unrest has left them unable to respond to this unlawful behavior.

Governor Li Liehua has stated that she may examine the option of calling in the military if the situation continues to deteriorate.

"The overburdening of our public security system may force us to call on the People's Defence Forces for assistance," she said in an online statement.

There have also been reports of the JRP issuing out flyers and leaflets to various neighbourhoods, schools, and business premises, with messages targeting those of the Japanese ethnicity. It reads as follows:

"ATTENTION: TO ALL PERSONS OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY LIVING IN THE BEIHAIDAO SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC.

You must leave this island. You are not welcome here. Your presence on our homeland is the byproduct of a century of suppression, subjugation, imperialist conquest, and robbery from the Ainu people.

Should you choose to leave this island peacefully, members of the Japanese Resistance Party shall do their best to escort you out of our way.

    WANG ANYANG
President of the Japanese Resistance Party"

The Ministry of Investigations calls on any members of the public with information on the group's whereabouts, members, and activities to come forward through an anonymous tipline. It categorically decries the racially-motivated violence against the FEUSSR's own and warns of harsh consequences against such behavior.

In order to place itself more in line with the ISPO treaty, and furthering educational initiatives, The Ministry has put in place guidelines.

Universities and colleges will open educational pathways between other universities and colleges in other ISPO member nations that will allow for a cleaner transfer of credits, especially with “general education credits” as well as the Major and Minor curriculum credits.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will issue educational passports to students who are accepted to foreign universities, and credits earned overseas will translate back to Israeli universities.

Trade schools will also be following the same guidelines, and will be able to learn different practices across ISPO. This will also enable contractors to have a pool of people who will understand various applications across ISPO.

This is part of Israel’s plan to be fostering increased relations with all Members of ISPO, and dedicate the alliance to increase opportunities for its citizens.

Topic: Official Announcement of the Soviet Claim over the Arctic

Moscow — The Soviet Foreign Ministry has officially disclosed a map of the Arctic Circle that declares what the Kremlin considers as belonging to the Soviet People. As the preeminent power in the Arctic, the Soviet Union is interested in a diplomatic and peaceful conversation of the future of the Arctic. It is the stance of the government that global warming is a serious issue that we all, as world community, must tackle to guarantee the survival and continuity of the human race and all other living things in this planet. However, as the ice caps sadly begin to melt, a new frontier is opened and as such a new set of questions over sovereignty arise.

We believe that conversation without honesty is a futile effort destined to fail. As such this Ministry makes clear to the world today what the country considers to be its sovereign territory in the Arctic with the intention of setting the pace and tone of this conversation. We hope that our neighbors in Arctic Circle are likewise willing and open to have this conversation in order to move forward in an orderly fashion and avoid a Scramble that could result in tragedy.

Arctic Claim: https://i.imgur.com/dZA5HsT.png

The map shows the current Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) of the Arctic nations. These are set in red. As evidenced, there's a gap in the middle. The solid blue lines show the agreed-upon and accepted maritime borders. The yellow line and the yellow shaded area show the Soviet claims over the Arctic, based on the continental shelf and historical, cultural and military presence of the nation over the centuries.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Canada has rescinded its recognition of Cccp- arctic claims in this map that was displayed by the Cccp-. The reasoning for this is Canada was diplomatically forced to recognize the claim under the threat of expulsion from the ICC after Canada spilled blood defending her allies in the ICC. Canada recognized this claim under protest. Canada will not be bullied or forced to recognize a claim that finds it illegal under international law and the international law of the sea.

Canada is willing to have dialogue with the Cccp- through diplomatic means.

FEDERAL LEGISLATURE AGREES TO END SPECIAL AUTONOMOUS REGION STATUS FOR HONG KONG

After much deliberation in the Federal Legislature, the Federal Legislature has decided that at the expiration of the Special Autonomous Region status for Hong Kong, there will be no renewal and Hong Kong will be formally welcomed into the Guangdong Province. The reasons for this decision were made clear, and they are as follows:

  1. The incorporation of Hong Kong into the Guangdong Province of the Republic of China will allow easier trade and travel between the Special Autonomous Region and the Republic of China as a whole

  2. The incorporation of Hong Kong into the Guangdong Province will further delegitimize the claim that is held over the Special Autonomous Region by the United Kingdom

  3. The incorporation of Hong Kong into the Guangdong Province will allow for standardization to take place in terms of mint and policies.

Despite criticism from citizens within the Hong Kong Special Autonomous Region, this is believed to be the best course of action by the Federal Legislature going forward. The transition will be made over time as the next scheduled vote on the status nears. The Federal Legislature, however, has noted that instead of a vote occurring, a formal celebration of the merger will take place in Hong Kong. The United Kingdom of Israel is making it known that any person who is of Jewish Descent (from one or both parents being Jewish) or Jews who have recently converted, are eligible to emigrate to Israel and become Israeli citizens.

Hebrew, the national language of Israel, is a must to be eligible as well, and must be known in order to pass citizenship tests.

This program enables Jews across the world to come home or at least be able to visit the homeland in an easier format if they live abroad.

Additionally the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are making plans to develop the Israeli Foreign Legion, where Jews and non-Jews worldwide can apply for and serve alongside the IDF in a wide variety of operational support roles. This is a program in development and will be announced in the coming weeks.

-greater sweden- wrote:Prime Minister Nilsson lashes out at Turkish response

Interview with President Akbas

Reporter: “President Akbas, thank you for agreeing to sit down for this interview. Let me begin by asking you about something that has been making headlines recently, the TKP drew large crowds last week when they announced their intention to unseat you. How are you feeling about your chances?”

Akbas: “Thank you and I’m feeling good honestly. They drew a big crowd, that’s for sure. They are a formidable opponent for sure but I think voters can see right though them. They are liars and they are cheats. Some of the stuff they’ve said about me and about this movement we’ve created are just so nasty. It’s lies and I think, frankly, they are projecting onto me their own sins.”

Reporter: “That actually leads me into my next question which is; do you have a response to the accusations that they’ve levied against you? Some of this is serious, if not criminal stuff. They’ve accused you of silencing political opposition and much more.”

Akbas: “No I do not silence political opponents. You know who does silence political opponents? The TKP. They silence people all the time. Have you gone to a college campus today? You can’t say the things that I say on a college campus because you would be viciously attacked and I mean like really bad stuff. People get beat, they get pepper sprayed. So if you want to look at silencing political opponents, let’s look at the TKP and their enforcers. Frankly, if you ask me, it is something that is worth investigating and if we had a truly independent ministry of Justice they would be looking into that, I think.”

Reporter: “While we’re on the subject. There is a new, albeit fledgling party that is supportive of Türkiye being brought back into the Roman Empire. Any comment on that?”

Akbas: “Türkiye has a long and rich history. Part of that history is with the empire and while I have the utmost respect for our Roman allies, we are our own people and we are a proud people. I don’t think this new party will have much success but I wish them luck.”

Reporter: “I want to switch gears now and ask you about another story that’s been dominating headlines recently; your refusal to approve -greater sweden-’s bid for NATA membership.”

Akbas: “If you look at their record, it’s really a no brainer, not that most of these people really have a brain. They have supported separatist movements and terrorist organizations in Syria and what do these terrorists do with that money they get from Sweden? They come across our border, the kill our citizens. It’s a disgrace. In the past, we have had weak leaders who sold out our country and who would have laid right down and accepted Sweden's bid for NATA membership. Guess what, I think a lot of people aren't going to be too happy with me and that's okay but I was elected to be a strong leader and to stand up to the nations who have bullied us for decades. We aren't going to be bullied anymore. You can't have a country with weakness. That's how you lose a country. You have to be strong."

Reporter: "The Swedish Prime Minister, Nilsson, has suggested that talks can begin when you apologize for your claims that his people support terrorism. Will you apologize for your comments?"

Akbas: "How about Prime Minister Nilsson apologize for supporting and funding Syrian terror groups that have carried out attacks in Turkiye? How about the prime minister apologizes to the families of the Turkish citizens who have lost their lives as a result of their financial support for such organizations. This is what we just talked about, showing strength. A weak leader would have apologized and groveled, 'I'm so sorry, please forgive me'.... give me a break! They treat us like crap because this country has been run by losers for so long and that stops right here and it stops right now."

Reporter: "As much as I would like to keep going, we do have to pause for a short commercial break, for those of you watching at home; don't go anywhere. We will be right back and when we get back I will be talking with President Akbas about jobs, the economy and what the latest numbers mean for consumers. Stay tuned."

The Ministry will be naming several new ambassadors over the coming weeks per Nasi Isaac Levy’s directives. Israel seeks to revamp its Foreign Officers as well. This is to establish younger people into the diplomatic core to gain career related experiences.

The first exchange of new ambassadors will begin with ISPO members, and upon approval, NATA members as needed thereafter. The Diplomatic Corps will begin a new hiring process over the next three years to find a qualified pool of young people and graduates to work in foreign offices.
