Only 17 days left to the local elections, and rallies are being held all around the nation while Czechoslovaks are preparing to make their voices heard. Elections play an important part of a regular Czechoslovak citizen's life since the rebuilding of democracy and is seen as a precious duty of a citizen. Ruling National Democrat Party seems to be gaining support in Slovak Republic after 10 years of not having the majority of votes in any Slovakian province; while Social Democrats are seem to lose popularity, especially in Bratislava. The favorites are certain in this election, which will be different from the elections so far, including Sofia Bartková in Prague, Vladislav Čiernik in Brno, Monika Jilemničková in Bratislava and Jolana Němečková in Plžen.

Zdislava Kubešová, Social Democrat candidate of Bratislava in Republic of Slovakia, withdrew two days ago because of a confirmed murder allegation leading to his arrest. The allegation was Kubešová inciting the murder of Yugoslavia-born English teacher and ex-wife of Kubešová, Ludmila Markovčić in 2017. Because of this saddening incident - Social Democrats are expected to lose popularity and reputation especially in this election, and polls show this might be already happening. Opinion polls show that Social Democrats lost 4.5% of their votes, compared to the last local elections.

The Beginning of Iraqi Intervention in Sahuria

Planes of the 201st Squadron take off from Kirkuk Air Base and head west for the Sahurian airspace, about in the direction of Abu Hamam. They pass directly over the Iraqi town of Hawija and from then on see almost nothing but desert occasionally illuminated by a small hamlet or village. The Euphrates River slowly comes into view, with a more noticeable concentration of light. The planes enter Sahurian airspace, and they now fly over territory controlled by the Islamic State. Once they reach the town of Abu Hamam, the squadron begins bombing the town. Targets are any known Islamic State positions, random houses, farmland, roads, and grocery stores with the intent of weakening morale in the town.

Following the raid on Abu Hamam, which lasted about 30 minutes, they go south towards Al Bukamal, where the squadron begins carrying out bombs on the town and its outskirts as well. Much like Abu Hamam, targets are farmland, housing, roads, etc, as well as the bridge connecting the town to the small hamlet of Al-Baghuz Fawqani. Once this is finished, after about 30 minutes, they fly back to Kirkuk Airbase.

President Adil al-Farsi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, is informed that the air raid on Al Bukamal and Abu Hamam was a success. Information about the operation is withheld from the Iraqi public until further notice.

| ROME — The clock strikes a critical hour in Rome as the government and the opposition continue to lock horns on the 2021 fiscal budget, which is scheduled to be voted on this Tuesday. With the details of the budget spending an additional 45 billion euros than it’s expected to get back citing COVID-19 related spending, an additional 10 billion dollars for the defense budget while also cutting money from social services such as healthcare benefits and pension funds, the Opposition has called this bill a sham as it promises too much for the armed forces and automaker manufacturing, but at the same time it cuts pensions and healthcare benefits which have angered many in parliament and the public. All the attention on the budget has also blindsided the current situation in the Ionian Sea where a migrant ship has been stranded for 24 hours. The Interior Minister; Luciana Lamorgese told the migrant boats to divert their course from Italian waters and return back into the Eastern Mediterranean. This comes after Tortellini and his party has said they wish to revoke anti-asylum and anti-rescue measures held over from the previous government. The interior minister pushed through two government decrees, later converted into law by the parliament. The decrees and laws eviscerated Italy’s asylum procedure and reception system, and formalized Lamorgese “closed ports” policy, which blocked boats seeking to disembark people rescued in the Mediterranean Sea. The Opposition and members of the public took offense to this and claims that this violates EU Asylum Seeking Laws. President Mattarella summoned both the President of the Senate and the Chambers of Deputies to his office yesterday. Many assumed that this was the president taking his first steps to dissolve parliament by consulting both houses of parliament.

In other news, Foreign Minister Lugi Di Miao will be travelling to Cario today to meet with the Eygptian representatives on matters of trade. His office wanted to make that clear due in part of the growing conflict between them and Israel. Di Maio went on to say they value both relations between the two countries equally, and will continue to exercise relations. Italy is Egypt's largest trade partner in the European Union, and is the third largest internationally following the United States and China. Furthermore, Italy's investments in Egypt are worth $2.6 billion, mostly concentrated in transport and banking services among other sectors, making it the fifth largest European investor in Egypt.|

China's PLA arrives in Iraq for historic deployment against terrorist group ISIS

China's powerful People's Liberation Army has been invited by the Iraqi government to participate in a series of military operations against ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Sahuria), an Islamic terrorist group currently occupying the rightful territory of the Islamic Republic of Sahuria. In an effort to curbing global Islamic terrorism, Paramount Leader Xi Jinping authorized the first ever foreign military deployment of the PLA in the Middle East. Over 2,000 brave men and women have been reassigned to a new command which will now be based off of Baghdad and will coordinate all ground and air operations of the PLA in Iraq and Sahuria. As of September of 2020, the People's Republic of China publicly announced its intention to assist the Islamic Republic of Sahuria, which has long stood as the stable authority in the country. However, foreign lowers meddling in its affairs and the ugly ghost of Western imperialism have triggered a civil war that has teared the country apart.

In an effort to curb global terrorism and guarantee the continued existence of the Islamic Republic of Sahuria, the PRC announced the deployment of elements of the People's Liberation Army in order to directly assist in the fight against the terrorist group ISIS. General Wei Fenghe, the National Defense Minister, clarified that the PLA was there to "Assist our Iraqi allies in fighting Daesh and their regional allies by any means necessary." The general added that China opposed the rebelling factions in the civil war, however he did not go into detail as to what role the PLA will play in the conflict against the rebelling factions. However, he stated that the PLA was "ready for anything" and that this operation would show the "impressive and admirable capabilities of the PLA."

The Central Military Commission published a report on the projected quantities of equipment that will be present on the ground. The list is extensive, detailing a full-on deployment aimed at fighting the well-organized, yet ill-equipped ISIS. PLAGF troops will be provided with extensive armored, missile, air and electronics support. The CMC has also stated that the branches will be working "closely together" showcasing China's "ability to coordinate" and form "cohesive joint operations between branches." Aside from ground operations, the CMC confirmed that the PLAAF will also be involved, primarily providing air support and air strikes against enemy targets. While no time frame has been laid out for China's presence in the Middle East, the CMC stated that the PLA would remain, "as long as our Iraqi allies will allow."

_{Far-right activists burn copy of Quran, plan more stunts}

Members of a Danish far-right group burned a copy of the Quran in Sweden, only days after a similar incident in the southern city of Malmo. A video posted by the leader of the Stram Kurs (Hard Line) group showed a man burning the Muslim holy book in the Rinkeby neighbourhood. Rinkeby, in the capital Stockholm, has a large Muslim and migrant population. "Today, Stram Kurs, burned the Quran in Swedish sh*t hole ghetto Rinkenby," Rasmus Paludan wrote on Facebook. "A lot of criminals have said that we would never be able to do this. But we did it. Islam is an evil and primitive religion that has no place in Denmark, Sweden or any other civilised society," he added. The group had earlier asked police for permission to burn the Quran in Rinkeby but the request was denied. The latest act came amid reports that the party is planning more demonstrations in five Stockholm suburbs on September 12.

According to Euronews, members of Sweden's Muslim community held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss how to deal with the demonstrations this weekend.

"The conclusion was to encourage friendly and calm actions," Mahmoud Khalfi, an imam, told Euronews. "One should not react strongly, but instead just ignore it." Muslim groups were in contact with Swedish police about security restrictions for mosques in Stockholm on Saturday, said Khalfi. About a week ago, far-right activists had burned a copy of the Quran in Rosengard, also a neighbourhood with a large migrant population, in Malmo.

Following the event, some 300 people protested against the far-right act, where at least 10 people were arrested and several police officers were injured. Paludan was scheduled to speak at the Malmo event but was stopped from entering the country, and subsequently banned for two years. Paludan, known for Islamophobic stunts, last year attracted media attention for burning a Quran wrapped in bacon. In June, Paludan was sentenced to three months in prison in Denmark over various violations of hate speech laws. Prime Minister Hanna Lindholm and her constituents have strongly condemned the hate speech claiming “Sweden does not stand for such idiotic rhetoric.”

North Korea to purchase Iraqi oil

Under the new Australian Citizenship Test, new would-be Aussies would need to score 75% on the test and answer the 5 new cultural questions correctly in order to gain citizenship.

The new test will include a set of 20 multiple-choice questions, including 5 questions regarding Australian culture. The questions also include more confronting questions such as whether it is acceptable for a husband to be violent towards his wife if she has disobeyed or disrespected him.

Acting Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs Alan Tudge said he wanted would-be citizens to have a better understanding of the nation’s values before they were declared Australian.

"The updated citizenship test will have new and more meaningful questions that require potential citizens to understand and commit to our values like freedom of speech, mutual respect, equality of opportunity, the importance of democracy and the rule of law. We are asking those who apply for citizenship to understand our values more deeply before they make the ultimate commitment to our nation.”

The new questions in the citizenship test are;
