Triporea wrote:Jazmin’s hands started to erupt with her black flame as they drove and she jumped from the speeder as Filia snapped Wink’s neck. Harlock’s wrestling of the controls quickly jerked the vehicle to one side and threw the unseated Filia through the same hole that Jazmin had burned in the side of the speeder. The speeder flipped and crashed soon after this sudden jerk.

Outside the speeder, Jazmin was focusing hard to control her powers, but seemed unable to get the flames to stop. Her chitin protecting her, but nothing around her was being protected. Filia would have landed a few metres away from Jazmin. Jazmin was trying not to panic, but was... well, clearly on the verge of panicking as her powers refused to heed her commands.

Harlock inside the speeder would see the body of Wink now slowly starting to deform. On the base of his neck he saw the cause of the problem. A cybernetic implant, by the look of the positioning and model it might have been used by the soldiers of this planet for improved combat efficacy. But as it was glowing a sickly green, at some point Wink had been infected. Large portions of the right side of his face were starting to swell in patches as his body overall started gaining mass. The infection was taking his dead body.

-

The officer nodded and patted Sephus on the shoulder, “Good lad.” The two shortly left, and Liline was sitting there looking down at the sidewalk.
“i... i’ve never missed that jump before. even when i was a kid i made that jump, caught myself on the sidewalk, why didn’t i make it this time, why-“ She looked at her empty sleeve, grabbing the end of it with her arm and squeezed the sleeve. She then let go and looked straight at the ground. Falling forwards, she prostrated on the ground.

Filia quickly got to her feet after she was flung out the whole in the speeder, massaging her side before she feels the intense heat of the black flames. "Woah woah! Jazmin! It's okay! We're okay! Calm the flames down!" Filia was worried that they were just lighting a beacon for the monsters to find them. This situation was looking less and less appealing by the second.

Now, with Harlock, he quickly regains his senses as he gets himself up in the crashed landspeeder. Only for horror to be realised... Watching the green growths grow from his neck, a wash of pure dread runs down his spine as he eagerly climbs out of the speeder and leaps over to Filia and Jazmin before he fires a beam of magic to try and melt the speeder and Mutant Wink with it"When the hell did he get infected?! He was up at that damn ice settlement where they killed the bastards daily!" Harlock was freaking out, he almost got everyone infected just by trying to keep them safe! How did this- Then it hit him... Did... Did having a close proximity to that damn AI allow it to take over Wink thanks to the chip he had?! "[b]This is all kinds of messed up! Did the AI really infect him from this distance? What the hell... Oh sh!t...[/i]" If Wink was already infected... With a look of despair on his face he looked over to Filia. "Wink was already..."

Filia, who was trying to calm Jazmin down, looked over to Harlock slowly as it dawned on her what he was trying to say. A look of real fear on her face "No... No no you're lying no!! I am not infected! I just broke his neck, it only took a second! I-... I...." She says falling to her knees, wrapping her arms around herself as she keeps quietly denying it. She didn't want to become like that. She'd rather become the Queen of Blades again. She'd rather lead the zerg again!!

-----

Sephus waved the both of them off with a smile on his face before that smile soon faced, a vacant expression spread across his face as he kept his eyes forward. Not even glancing back to her as she runs through why she failed that jump... And then prostrating herself on the ground after she came to the crushing realisation...

As much as he felt like just telling her to get up and keep walking... He couldn't... He had to be here for her now more than ever... As much as it hurt him to see her like this. He couldn't let this feeling wash over him. He needed to be her pillar for as long as she would have him... He wasn't going to leave her to suffer again.

Kneeling down, he places his hand on her head, and speaks up in a soft and reassuring tone. "Tonight has turned rather sour hasn't it? We should really see about getting you a new arm... But we can't stay here. Let's get back to the hotel and rest. We're still out past curfew." He says before offering her his hand. "Can you run? If not then I'm going to have to princess carry you back to embarrass you."

Jazmin was breathing hard, almost hyperventilating as she had her eyes closed. “I-I’m trying! B-but I almost can’t control it anymore!” But while Filia may have seen Jazmin’s power loss, she could have also seen that the area they were standing it had these strange metal poles dotted around the place.

Harlock easily metled the craft and its occupant. But Filia had not been infected. Or at least it seemed she hadn’t been infected. What then happened was a metal pole seemingly fell from the sky in front of them. Similar to the other ones scattered around the field. They were like a strange pylon. Though this one had a little camera on it that crackled to life with a speaker.
“Harlock, you have not fulfilled your end of this bargain,” Elise’s strangely calming voice came on. “I had believed you would see to the completion of our spoken agreement rather than seek to undermine it. I am glad I was aware enough to salvage these disruption fields. And what a turn of events it has been. Did you know these disruption fields can emit nano fields capable of overriding cybernetic and android brain functions? I did not know until just now. However these fields seem to be unable to infect you, which is most unfortunate.”

She didn’t really answer, but with a face of silent tears she couldn’t stand to even give Sephus eye contact. She was broken inside because of this. Liline was, well, not used to defeat as was clear, and utterly embarrassed by her handicap. By her mere body language she was insisting that Sephus just leave her there.

Triporea wrote:She smiled and lightly patted his hand. “Excellent! I’m sure my dear auntie can find a place for us in the meantime and it will allow us to get off this rock.”

"Auntie?" Ishben would ponder for a moment on the rather foreign concept. "A sort of significant family member? Either way, if they are dear to you, I'll try to grow a connection with them."

Edalt wrote:"Auntie?" Ishben would ponder for a moment on the rather foreign concept. "A sort of significant family member? Either way, if they are dear to you, I'll try to grow a connection with them."

"Yes, my Auntie, Margaret is my mother's sister. And also a landlord on Bezembay. So my hope is she can help us find a place to live or even let us become tenants. Though, I will warn you that townhouses and apartments are pretty much all that's available on Bezembay."

Iammelon wrote:Araunsekt went over to Zia's unconscious form, examining it closely. He extended a phantom paw to try and feel Zia's shifting face, and the hand seemed to actually slide a bit into her before Araunsekt suddenly retracted it, visibly uncomfortable, "Agh! Feisty in sleep, eh? Tried to absorb me! Thankfully, that seems to have been not an intentional action on Zia's part, just passive. Still, I think I can hold them in this state of rest. Lass, or lad, or whatever they are, could really quite use a bit of sleep. Lots of turmoil here. I think there may be more than 3 parts in here... Also it's not unholy or a jinx, it's simple spiritual magic." He turned his attention
Rauus meanwhile nodded to Mayflower, as she was correct from what he could tell, "Indeed, Psions are an arrogant bunch, and trust more in their magical abilities for protection rather than things like armor or shields. In their opinion, what danger is a mortal weapon to a God? But unfortunately for us, their elders are not so foolish and so wear armor, making them difficult to kill. That means the one we saw, and presumably the one in Zia, is a leader of some kind. Hm... If I am guessing correctly then, what we just witnessed was the Great Evacuation, or at least part of it. It is when a large number of the civilian population of this world fled to the safety of the Anubite Empire, only escaping because the local resistance fighters managed a series of daring strikes across the whole planet at the various anti-air and orbital weapon emplacements the Psions had set up. If Zia remembers that event, then she certainly has the memories of people on the planet when it happened. However, so far, it seems Zia lacks the memories of people who died in the fighting itself, like that brave Anubite. Perhaps it is connected to the event that turned this world into a Ghost World? Hm... What exactly are you, Zia?" He turned to look at the sleeping spiritual creature again, sighing and shaking his head.

May crossed her arms and walked around Zia, making sure she was truly asleep. For the time her fear seemed to have been replaced by her thirst for knowledge, as long as the troubled monster was asleep at least "I'll tell you what she is ...she is the ghost of that skittish forest-sister from the vision mainly, I could tell from the way she acted in the vision and from when she met us ...though it must be said that Ialao do not cower that much, I'm proof of that. Anyway ...it seems she also has absorbed that Psion's soul. I wonder what that third jinx is though ...Zia never talked from the Anubite's point of view, it can't be him ..or he's an awfully silent fellow and that would be a first for an Anubite. Not even death stops an anubite from completing their lengthy speech." She attempted to poke Zia but quickly retracted her finger and turned at Raaus looking quite guilty "Ahh ..yes, as I was saying ..I watched a movie recently, the heroes are all ancient Anubite warriors and they all die at the same time in a shipwreck, then their ghosts remain trapped in the wreck because their relatives don't know they have died and argue all the time ...what I'm saying is" she pointed at Zia with a smug smile "She's a wreck"

Iammelon wrote:Azdrey chuckled, noting that difference in the interpretation of history between the two Hadastis with him, but going on to explain, "Vampire Lords? Well, that could be either the Eskavari or the Psions, but in either case yes we did. Eskavari being more literal vampires, and Psions being the more soul inclined vampires. I am not sure of the validity of any rumors you might have heard, bit we are getting closer so you will soon see! We are different from the Hadast for sure, at least." With that, he sat back and waited.
The transport was now finally reaching its destination, with the Ether becoming green to show they had entered the Iammelonian Nebula. And, soon enough, the great world of Javalus came into view. Or at least, the many many things surrounding it. The star system was bristling with activity, as merchant ships flew about, headed down to either the Metropolitan Centers of the planet below or to one of the many space stations surrounding the planet. Policing fighters flew around, observing the ships and assuring everyone was in order. The space traffic here was quite controlled. But of course that would not be an issue, as Azdrey provided his own access so they could get down to the world. The area they were headed to was Javalus Central, the largest city on the planet, as well as capital city of all Iammelon. The Skyscrapers stood tall and proud, and the landing zone was actually on top of one of them, giving a great view of the entire city.

The Olynd's ears perked up as Azdrey mentioned the Eskavari and raised her finger, she had heard that before "Yes-yes! I remember, Sakavar ..it's an evil spirit that sucks all life! ...grandma Rassiqath told me of those Sakavarim! They could be the Red Demons!" Lizbet also appeared interested for a while, this could prove valuable if they were the same demons, since they came from the north-east ..hinting to a new secret route, hidden in the Storms "The words sounds similar, perhaps they came from a new ether current ...if we find the documents verifying this, it would be great news for all the Hadast"
Astrith and Lizbet had a whispered private exhange with each other a little before reaching their destination. It seemed as if Lizbet gave some instructions to her Olynd, with Astrith begrudgingly nodding her head. While Azdrey could not entirely understand the talk, it seemed to be again about that blasted collar. Nevertheless both stood in awe as the ship approached the skyreaching city ..it was not bigger at all than Utiqart in Ashtart, but it was far more modern and organized; Lizbet merely smiled as Astrith stuck her snoot and hands on the glass gasping at the sight "Wahh! It's all so ...metallic ..and glassy ..it's like Science Reality! Master look at the great billboards it's a dragon!" Lizbet scratched her head-feathers and leaned to notice the dragon ..and indeed there it was ..a dragon! Gloriously arguing over a parking slot in the nearby landing pod beneath them "Looks like you Azdrey, but fat ..it's obviously overfed." Astrith gave an annoyed look at Lizbet, the first time they were seeing dragons and she had ruined it as always ..damn siblings.

Iammelon wrote:Cendri was surprised to see Nia run off so quickly, but he did smile when he saw that she was coming back with her own plush. He started playing with Karfos, placing him down in front of Birta to play out the interaction of plushies, using one hand to have the Dragon's head bend down a bit so it would look Birta in the eye, "This one is good Dragon, strong, loyal, and true! Will help you, small one! Look, Dragoness hides there! Speak, science one! Explain self!" He made Karfos point to Nia's dragon hand. He then thought about it, looking around, and then speaking to Nia directly, "This one has idea! We do a picnic, go to park! Granion Park is closeby, and is very nice with tree, bush, and bench! Show more of city instead of stay inside, yes?" He went over and got a bag, showing it to Nia, "Can take food and plush with too! This one has never done the pic of the nic before, but is willing to try. Does Nia want to try?"

Nia sure could use some fresh air, besides, that way she thought she could watch more Watrike go about their lives and copy their mannerisms to fit in. She turned Birta with her hands upwards facing the hand-dragon to look startled "There is! Quick all go to headquarters for interrogations! There truth shine for glory of Grand Drake!" she had Birta walk towards the door's position, then suddenly stood up herself with plush in hand "Pikki of the Niki? ..is that friend of Cendri? Great Warrior or not will become Pikki of the Nia Clan! Alright! This one is willing to see some more of Watrike city, is gigantic settlement! Lots of big towers and new snoots." The white-scaled watrike would follow Cendri to the said park, obviously being quite fine with the idea, after all this Pikki Niki guy would be quite a famous one to bear his clan's name. Nia was quite happy with her stay on Trikorn so far, nevertheless many thoughts came and went through her head ..especially regarding her mother; would she see her again? Perhaps she was in the same planet even, unable to meet or even talk ..it had been quite many years since she last had seen her after all, perhaps she had forgotten her.

Iammelon wrote:Zirona gave a small nod, "You are correct that the Grand Drake can sometimes over-calculate, but it is better to be safe than sorry, no? I fear negligence more than I do overdiligence. I hope you are the same. And yes, your world is half traitor. But, you shouldn't worry about them too long. The Union Military is treating your world with quite a bit of priority, and there are things in the underbelly of your world that shall bring justice upon those who stand against truth. And the secrets in the dark will come to light soon enough... Now, let's get aboard!" With that, the Spymaster directed everyone onto the ship, and personally went to the cockpit to handle the takeoff and flight. Selequ, Wilioa, and Creerisk all followed, and spread out to different parts of the ship as they felt most comfortable. It was not going to be a long ride.
The ship Zirona provided held up to its appearance, and it moved very quickly through the ether to the hidden southern arms depot. The cloaking devices were activated, and the vessel would not appear on the radars of the Confederate Base. Now that they were getting close however, they could get a better look at the world in question. It was a rather unassuming one, for it was a moon. The larger planet it orbited was in all official records a mere minor farming world named Ulmias, with a population of merely ten thousand Scarletneck Farmers. It was technically part of the Confederacy, but Ulmias was so simple and disconnected it contributed a grand total of 10 soldiers to the Combined Confederate Military, and lacked any major natural resources to boot. The moon of Ulmias, named Masques, was even more unassuming. It was actually a partially habitable body, with a mighty section of jungle along its equator, although beyond the jungle it was not friendly to life. Officially, Masques had a larger population than Ulmias who primarily were here to cut down the jungle wood for lumber, catch exotic animals to sell, and extract the exotic fruits, which borne much more profit than the regular farming. But unofficially, the dense equatorial jungle hid a very large military complex and a major weapons stockade, set up by Omnipo prior to the Civil War in preparation for the fight against Excave. Zirona called everyone to a briefing room, and explained the situation, "We'll be coming down to one of the jungle settlements, with our signature as that of a trader here to buy some lumber. Selequ will handle the dock officials, and she is the only one who can be seen by any of them. A band of Watrike and Boethans will be all too obvious to the population as to who we work for. But once she handles that, we will be making a trek through the jungle to our objective, avoiding scouting parties and then finding a good position. Of course, unless anybody else has a better idea."

Mica smirked at Zirona's question, knowing fully well whom was the target, nevertheless she would have to play her game for now. Casually taking her baggage and changing into a Boethan Confederate Constabulary private's uniform she stood in attention and saluted Zirona as she finished "At your orders Commander Zirona ...ve vill go vish your plan, sounds vell-thought. If zhey catch us I vill pretend zhat I caught some spies.". The Boethan spy was still quite uncertain of the entire mission, but she had to do what should be done; she quickly hid and prepared to run with the rest when the signal was given, trying to remember the details of the secret military base "Ve must get to 01-234-55, adjust your spotters... ..zhere is a gate to zhe main facility zhere". Still not all was well, if something went wrong she could lose Wilioa as well as Zirona ..or even her own life ..she was feeling rather nervous, unknowingly to all mostly due to her secondary objective; trying to forget Zirona and calm down she avoided Wilioa and turned to the only unknown face of Creerisk, addressing the unstable Ialao bomber with a rather worried tone "How do I look? Am I 'separatist bιtch' enough?"

Iammelon wrote:Zenos understood the gravity of a situation where a Taurus throttled a drunk Ghashyr Lord. While back in Zantium the Imperial Power of the Emperor, and his subsequent total support of the Rangian Vanguard, meant that any lord foolish enough to antagonize a member of the Vanguard would be left to their fate of a big bruise and a bad morning. And, if they were smart, they left it at that. But that would not be the case in the Talmyrox. The Rangians were new here, they did not have the same reputation they did among Zantine Nobility, and Ghashyr Nobility had far more in the way of teeth to bite back with. Avoiding a conflict was important right now, so Zenos nodded his head, "I'll make sure they realize! They're obedient, they're just used to, well... They're used to beating nobles by order of the Emperor. They're one of our methods of keeping them in c-check, you see, a little corporal punishment is all. But they're smart, they'll learn! I'll keep them in their regular uniforms and make sure they don't partake in fights, not unless ordered to! And I'll make sure to position them away from the drinks, so it's less likely they come across any drunk lords." He decided not to mention the fact that Rangians sometimes threw nobles out windows for directly disrespecting the reigning monarch, as Zenos was pretty sure already he was going to get a bit of mockery and he didn't want to worry anybody by mentioning the outcome for such in Zantium. He was however more happy to talk about other things, rubbing the back of his head in slight embarrassment at getting it wrong anyways, "O-oh, well I will have plenty of time to learn! I think... Hopefully. But for your question, it's kinda complicated... I-I don't think about it very often, but I guess it's because we're colonials! Humans don't have a biological homeworld in Iammelon, we came in from somewhere else. I don't know where, but it was a very long time ago. And, so, our nations developed according to the population on each planet, already highly interconnected. New languages don't really develop when mass communications systems are already in place. So, the only differences come between colonies of different planets. As for treating eachother like other species... I guess we do. Proscore says it outright even, saying that they are unique and don't want to be grouped in with the rest. But it comes down to that uniform thing you mentioned. When you grow up in a world like that of a Zantine one, where everyone uses the same language, has similar culture, and that similarity extends even to other species on the planet... Think about what happens you meet a Proscorine. It's a Human, not something you haven't seen before, but their culture and language are entirely alien. To a Zantine Human, who can speak Zantine to a Taurus, an Ialao, or a Boethan and still have a full conversation, finding a Human who doesn't speak Zantine marks them as different, and just strange. The cultures are different, with no overlap at all. Beyond the common history of being from another galaxy, Zantines and Proscorines and Xitoians and all of the human groups have entirely different histories. We didn't grow up on the same planet or even the same Empire. And if the Zantine Human can get along better with a Zantine Taurus, there's no incentive to any sort of brotherhood with a Proscorine. As far as they are concerned, the Proscorine is an alien, an entirely different species with no connection. That's our big difference to Ghashyr. In the end you are all from Shyr, all your cultures were born on Shyr. No matter your differences, you are one thing. Humanity... We've long since forgotten what we share, and all that remains are differences."

Myrafiora gave a big kiss to Zenos, hugging him "Sounds sad, but I understand ...the Zemral feel similar to the rest of our kin, it's why I let them go to their precious Union. But I am sure we Ghashyr have ways of reminding you what we all share ..for starters we do not have itchy fur like half of the nebula does, and more; we can't help but dream of always going further." She stood up and grabbed her back in pain, signs that the Talmyr hadn't been exercising as much as she should "Oy, let's look at our Valx costumes ...there must be some old ones in this wardrobe!" She opened the walled wardrobe and in it could be seen at least a hundred suits ..even an old armor. For sure this hadn't opened for years, probably millennia if the dust and confused moths were any indication. Myrafiora started grabbing suits, presenting them proudly ..the first one was all green, resembling scales ...with two majestic retractable wings and flabby tail, it also had a small lionhead pin on it "Ah, look at the laor emblem! this belonged to Talmyr Sylitha the Bane of the Mhassari, a great warrior ...same she was also too kin on having fun with her prisoners of war, in the end all we found was a mauled body. I might wear that." She then dropped on Zenos' feet a red suit with detailed scales and various draconic runes on it, it possessed a more sleek tail with a detailed ending "I don't know who had this one, but he sure was a huge Valxoor, look at the runes ...guy probably went out to a cave and copied them or something, for Tal's sake... sure is a bit taller, but it seems to be your waist's size!" as she searched a bit more she stumbled upon something apparently great, almost gasping at the sight ..quickly bringing it out "look at this!" it was a blackscale one with what seemed to be actual dragon scales, although they could be fakes. Most impressively it had sharp black spikes coming out of it ..the tail seemed almost alive and it bared a five-pointed star pin "My Tal this should be in a museum ...it seems Pre-Somandraqish, probably remained in the family from Arel even ...fυck! I don't even know if I should wear it...."

Iammelon wrote:The tale was quite a powerful one to the two Golden (by species) Dragons who were listening to it, and they got immersed in Myrsa's telling. There would be no interruption, allowing the whole thing to play out with the two Dragons enraptured. And it had a lot of things to tell which Golden Dragons did not know, but were very interesting. Great Dragon sounded very similar to Grand Drake, even in the method of how the position was seized. The Eternal Fire was an odd one, a religion whose name they had heard as being for the Valxes but of course they didn't know anything about it at all in substance, and they were understanding now why it was important. The name "Atzel" was a new one as well, but obviously incredibly important as the leaders of the Valxes. Of course, the mention of humans was not hard to figure out as meaning the Ghashyr. But as far as Dragons were concerned, there was little difference between the two, so the Golden Dragons easily accepted Human as being the name for the Ghashyr in this story. The Katak'Sar, traitors and priests, bringers of a doom only they survived, and here before them was one such Katak'Sar. Tarral and Ezron had different reactions overall to the tale. The Dragoness seemed to be a good deal less skeptical of Myrsa, and actually did seem to believe the story. Her face was a mix of anger and sadness, but she remained silent as she tried to process all of that. Ezron however was certainly more on the sad side at the tale, giving a solemn nod, "Indeed, by that story it does seem you sowed a lot of your own misery, and so pity is inappropriate. But it is a saddening tale, all the same. Your clan may have done bad things, Myrsa, and made major mistakes... But such is the way of Dragons. Flying high, and yet falling so low. Yet we always fly once more, and I can not abide the idea of Dragons dying in caves without the chance to feel the wind in their wings! I will not allow a race to go extinct when I have the chance to help! However, Myrsa, for that to be the case you will have to accept one thing. It's spelled 'Heord'." He then gave a small wink to show that it was of course partially a joke.
Tarral finally decided to speak soon after, her voice more controlled than Ezron's rising enthusiasm, "Yes, betraying your kind is quite the sin upon your clan... But I suppose all Dragons have the right to fix their mistakes as well if they are strong enough to put in the effort. Besides, important that Dragons survive. Can't trust the Softskins to handle this galaxy by themselves. Stand, Myrsa, and find a mirror. I want you to get one last look at your Ghashyr meat puppet, because by my honor as the heir to the great clan Menfiraiax you will leave it behind forever before the day is out! And so..." The Dragoness stood up and picked Myrsa up with a claw, raising the Ghashyr up to level with the Dragoness's snout, "You're going to get showing us where your body hides. I've made a vow now, and if I break it because you take too long and the day ends, I'll hold you responsible and crush you with my tail!" Tarral then paused for a moment, looking back at her tail and then to Myrsa, processing for a moment before yelling out an addendum, "NOT LIKE THAT, I TAKE IT BACK!"
Ezron chuckled at Tarral going from confident Dragonness noble making a vow to a flustered lass, and spoke up in addition, "I will say we should move quickly if that is the case! No time is better than the present, and Tyfrondor trusts me to make big choices. I feel this counts, and so by my authority Heord will help! I can quickly arrange transport and call up some Dragon Doctors. After all, if your body has been trapped for so long, that's not too healthy. But there's nothing a good healer can't handle! My own doctor is very good at his job, and I'm sure he'd help!"

"I would not mind that punishment mighty Tarral! But I will help you fullfill your noble vow, I promise it in what little honor remains in my name and clan" Myrsa had forgotten all her woes as Tarral made her passionate speech. What a dragoness! - she thought; if she got back her body she already had an idea what to do after flying, and the more she looked into her eyes the more she was sure of it. Nevertheless, the Valx had to focus now back to her mission once more ..Saint Atyla the Lovebringer's wish had to wait, as a species was at stake. She immediately turned to Ezron looking excited as well as worried "The cave is outside Datha in a rather deserted mountain cave ..hidden, of course! Though you know that we will have to be impeccably careful and discreet Lord Ezron, no? I suggest a diplomatic delegation, I bet Myrafiora would be more than happy to greet some Heordal officials bringing gifts from the Grand Drake. Make sure of that, for Shyr is as dangerous as it is beautiful." her mind could not help it, making her look at Tarral as she uttered that particular last word.

The Ebony Republic wrote:Asura briefly scrolled through her dataslate and handed Fornt it, showing a communications frequency. "That'll put you in contact with the Vok. Though they may want to try a HALO drop on the station." Vorbote shook its head, the frame speaking in a synthesized voice: "You'd think the lack of atmosphere would stop them. Generally speaking, the Vok will run a stealth vessel far above the target and drop their strike team in specialized power armored suits. In theory, it dives under any sensors because no one expects to be scanning for biological lifesigns the size of, well, a human."

Fornt took the slate, remotely entering the frequency into his notes, which could be seen by the terminal behind him now displaying the information and saving it to his contacts. Fornt nodded, "Quite the boarding action, no atmosphere but going from far to close rather quickly. Sadly that theory will likely be proven wrong, because Cyboar enjoys doing the same thing. But it should still work, as I doubt Cyboar expects one of their favored tactics for boarding a ship to be utilized against one of their stations. Although what exactly would the Vok want in exchange for this? Didn't think they had much stake in this war."

Hearing Yohann get up, Jelica actually smiles over to him now that they weren't in public. "Morning to you too~ Hope I didn't break you in too much, I can always set those bones back in place good as new if you like? My power is pretty handy for fixing things~" She says as she hears the cracks and snaps of bones fitting back into place. She may have been alittle too rough with him, but in her defence he was totally asking for it with how cute he was being yesterday. How could she possible resist him like that?

When he asks her if she wants anything, including himself she had a familiar repeat of the wave of need that washed over her yesterday with all the cute sh!t he was saying. "Mmm stop that, we'll never leave the cabin if you keep saying stuff like that. Plus I already gave you quite enough punishment, I have to let you heal first~" She says as she lets him hobble off to go wash himself. "You sure you don't want me to fix you up hun? If people see you walking funny as we go out all the other guys are going to be jealous of you. Or do you want that~?"

The thought of her healing him was good but he has to show that he is tough and resilient. ”Im fine, sweetie, no need to unless I absolutely need it.” He says rubbing her hair, patting her then entering the bathrooms. “I just need a shower and some rather intense stretching and ill be good to go, and besides us men have that weird feeling, just by looking at someone you can already tell if he was well.. punished or not.. it comes natural, don’t know how to explain it well but mhm.” The sound of a metal knob creaking can be heard and the pitter patter of water droplets begin to rush down. The door to the bathroom is left locked, it seems he has his fair share of her being mischievous and wouldn’t want to push her to do it again.

Some time later, he would be finished, already donning his black coat trimmed with gold, underneath it would be a white undershirt with a small silver pendant around his neck. He ogles on her lover’s appearance and sees if it matches, and if it doesn’t he’d change immediately. As they exit their abode, Jelica would be obviously gripping on his arm and not the other way around. “We’re headed to Muspellheim Valley, it’s a treacherous walk there but the scenery will be amazing, of course that’s also where the treasure is located.”

It dumbfounded Echo that the concept of a dragon wasn't known around here. Though it shouldn't be totally unexpected that something like this was to happen sooner or later. "A dragon, in most cases, is a large fire breathing lizard that can fly. The ones in the civilisation I described are sentient, long lived and large." He says showing off a holographic picture of one he met afew years ago while doing business in Iammelon space.

After showing her the image he gets himself comfortable and remotely preps his own ship to follow hers. He didn't want to be in a situation he couldn't just be forced to participate in something because he didn't have a way out. Though for the most part he seemed... Content. Up until he had more information on this terrorist attack "... This sounds highly organised... A real problem. Though I should be able to provide a competent work around provided a more powerful civilisation with a higher tech level than myself isn't helping them jam signals."

As she looks upon the holographic display of the supposed dragon, a thought comes out but would be quickly segued of whats happening. “Ah, that’s a dragon. Ill show you something later on but for now my nation being attacked from the inside is much more important than some giant fire breathing reptilian.” She isn’t wrong in this sense... Halfthur’s mind suddenly screams “Oh f*ck” Right. She is unsure if these terrorists brought some of the radio tech from the pirate group she used to be in, but hopefully they aren’t using them as they are on a whole other level of radio communication, doesn’t even use the standard spectrum at this point. “Could it be that- oh nevermind..” She wont casually disown her former loyalty and the pirates wont be that stupid enough to attack the capital itself since it has its own interests and operations there, in essence the pirates would side with the government for this.

A transmission would suddenly come into the ship. Halfthur would instantly rush on to the compartment where it is to see who it is. “Oi, Great Captain Halfthur, is that you comin’ round for a vi-” The transmission was suddenly silenced by her, oh by the gods hopefully her past life isn’t being exposed right now. Halfthur would then begin to speak with the person on the other line privately, hopefully Echo wouldn’t barge in and eavesdrop. "What the hell! don't enable the speaker compartment of your call! you know im trying to not let anyone know im one of yous right?!" Thats the only thing echo might have heard with her loud whispering.

Triporea wrote:The marine’s non-fatal wounds would be tended to by an onsite medic, who treated the marines temporarily. As the proper medics arrived the marines allowed them to enter the premises with much trepidation, but monitored the medics closely. The marines stood vigilantly at their posts and were in a general battle mode.

The consul was in his office continuing to try and use the long range communication device to contact the Bez core but had the representative he had been speaking to on the line. “Seems your medics are here now. I’m hearing something about a revolutionary army? Now why the hell are they targeting my consulate?!”

The medics we’re treating everyone who we’re hurt with whatever tools they have, of course they are able to tend to everyone without the need of general reinforcements but they do know this wont be the last time they would attempt to attack any of the consulates. As one of the medics would check the bodies, it seemed peculiar that only a few of them have weapons while the rest are unarmed.

A auditory sigh can be heard from the line, ”The Jarlvein Revolutionary Army to be precise. They have been a thorn in our foot for such a long time we still don’t even know how we haven’t even able to take them down even with our current surveillance technology. They are clandestine beyond belief, we don’t even know if one of our military officers here are part of the Jarlvein Revolutionary Army. They are a hundred thousand strong, spread evenly across all systems here, they may be even attacking those planets either. I can confidently tell they have been planning this strike for years.” A brief pause before he speaks again. “They’re definitely trying to frame you, I’ve seen this tactic before… Confirm your marines if the assailants they eliminated outside your consulate armed or not.

The marines were also equally suspicious of this, then going on to inspect the rest of the scene while the marine captain reported back to the consul on what had happened and the result. The consul himself would speak again, “Indeed. According to my marine captain, these men were mostly unarmed by tried to assault the front gate in a manner that lead the marines to use lethal force. I tell you this stinks of fowl play. But-“ He spoke as a note was put on his desk, “it seems that my marines have managed to set up a long ranged communication device on the roof. We’ll be reporting this to Bezembay shortly.”

"Acknowledged, we'll tell the grey boys on the ground to not fire on your troops. Once you have successfully set up your long communication device, we'll give you a frequency and where to point it, we'll relay it in a much more powerful sign-" Shots can be heard in the background of the call, shouting, wheezing of bullets, screaming and then suddenly an explosion.. "Remain the line with me, we're evacuating the building, we assume their sleeper agents have been activated here as well." the clink of the hammer of a gun can be heard in the background, it seems he has ran out of ammo... hard breathing can be heard from the representative, since he is wearing communication headgear. "I've been shot, i dont know how long my men will last here.. hhghh.. relay your message to Fallbring Station... hhhghhh.." the man coughs up blood although you can only hear him doing it. "A Bezi hub is in fallbring station if i remember c-cc-correctly... set up first before a proper consulate here... hghh.. i dont know if you have several warships stati-.. hhghhh Suddenly a hailfire of shots can be heard in the background with the chanting of "Cry us a river of blood! Cry us a river of blood!"

The medics outside of the consulate has also lost their communications with the main control center and their on their own. The team leader would step forward to whoever is in charge with the marines outside of the consulate, bearing a white-tainted shield then removing his helmet. "Lieutenant Captain, Alandard Jobimsson of the 4th Attache of the Red-Stained Crescents Battlemedic group serial number: 45J213 if you think im a spy you can confirm that number, may i know who is the highest ranking officer?"
