Here are a few of my ideas (these are only ideas so don't nail me for them as these are not final and the poll is not done yet) for an alternate flag for our region:

India is a region that does align with the actual subcontinent in the real world. When Indians turn up in NS, they look for us. The subcontinent is the raison d'être for this region, a virtual placeholder for that region and its people. We don't push away others but we don't weaken our own sense of identity to attract more people.

Removing the flag and distancing yourself from the politics of India is not what this region should be about. The WAD should genuinely stop fervent attempts to gain more countries for one reason. It does not matter. This region has just the right amount of people, more would be better but let's not dilute the very identity of our region to get a few more people to play in our team.

Hey IJS,

The flag has been changed just for a week because of N-Day. We were part of the potato alliance.

It isn't my opinion to have a new flag. One of the cabinet members proposed it and it was put to vote.

We are also not trying to get the Indian culture out of our region. Please do understand

Not all use Discord? I really don't understand this aversion to RL politics. We used to discuss RL politics for a long long time and used to have pretty fun and informative debates. This region can't be only for RPers. We represent the RL country for god's sake.

C'mon HM don't tell me you didn't enjoy debating with Bengal and others. Yes, sometimes things can get a bit out of hand but that's no excuse to discourage discussion of RL politics. Your alt literally praised Gandhi's killer. If that couldn't divide the region, nothing will. And if things do start to get a bit heated mods can always step in to ensure civilised discussion takes place. If we were a RPing region or a region dedicated to discussion of in-site politics, I would agree that real life needs to be kept away to ensure the sancity of the region. But as a region representing the real-life country of India, it is completely unacceptable to discourage discussion of issues concerning India irl
