Austronta

Free Toast wrote:The santland Old utopia

People are demonstrating against the war. They say that "communist heroes" are dying for the expansion of "the old utopian world empire". I fear that if I am not guaranteed a part of Austronta to create a communist democratic state (similar to my own), I will be forced to withdraw my troops from austronta

And I bet you know how that will go, especially if you make the state in South Austronta. Also, I'm not sure if Old Utopia is just trying to overthrow a government and replacing it with the previous one.
EDIT: The post-war communist state you want to make is what I'm talking about, not the demands during the war.

Asia is currently painting a picture of her home. She's proud of it and wants emperor Alistair to see what she's done so far.

The war has seemed to halt the rebellions in Ungarita. Strange. Probably because we started spreading pro-war messages across their land, saying that they won't know what the countries fighting Austronta will do to them.

Who is Asia? What family does she belong to?

Austronta will become Democratic and there will be elections for the government. I can't really guarantee communism in Austronta.

Are you sure the nation is ready for democracy?

If you don't know what this video is, it's a CGP Grey video called The Rules for Rulers. It's about what politicians need to do to gain and keep power and why they do the things they do. The cause of mass poverty in many third-world countries will make more sense after watching that video and reading the book The Dictator's Handbook.

Old utopia wrote:Forces Attack!

The time seemed right for the attack to begin. 3 Old Utopian armies left Kanton Inu in January and arrived at the Old Utopian-Austrontan border in February. The 3 armies were all commanded by Kilian Meisner, Chief General but they were also separately commanded by 3 commanders: Floris Avest, Enrico Nicci and Ezio Piccoli. The 3 armies launched their attack in March. Enrico Nicci's army led the front and moved up to the closest river while Piccoli's and Avest's armies captured important nearby forts. The manoeuvre worked well and Kilian was able to secure a small foothold in Austronta. More armies are coming and word has reached the Santec, Koranian and Toastian generals that now is the time to strike. Kilian Meisner sets up defensive positions on the river but his strategy is mainly an offensive one, seeing as the 3 armies in total consist of 80,000 men, and Austronta's entire army consists of little over 50,000.

Meanwhile in Balticonia, due to Redneonian help and the Old Utopian navy, Old Utopia has already captured some port-cities in Balticonia. The plan is to launch an attack on Pondel, take the city and its leaders and disperse the very poorly-trained Balticonian army. If that doesn't work the Old Utopian navy will just blockade Balticonia and kill its economy which is already dying. The Balticonian navy consists of around 500 ships while the Old Utopian navy consists of around 4000 ships, making things very very unfair for the Balticonians. Kilian Meisner awaits a response from the Austrontans and Balticonians, although any resistance they produce will likely be futile. The blockade around Balticonia is being set up. 4 armies all consisting of 30,000 men have also travelled to Touco and taken up defensive positions on the Tooc-Balticonian border.

Rednedonian Guerillas led by General Kalehk Maleakotov follow the Old Utopians and break off once past the border to rupture enemy supply lines and cause chaos in military installations.

Psunam wrote:Ironforge Askings

The government of Psunam has asked nations across Lezra to donate sculptures of traditional war machines, Gods and, Wildlife. This will be asked to put in to Psunam’s largest project in Ironforge, the center of Manauq. A opening ceremony is to be held in June 1811 where all leaders will be invited.

While many of the sculptures and pieces of Rednedonian history were left in Rhedivius in Old Rednedonia, one thing is given to the Psunami museum by Head Councilman Havensor himself (formerly President Havensor). The gift is the very first bolt-action rifle ever given to Rednedonia by Psunam, originally owned by King Hareldius IV and passed down to his wife, then his son, then to their closest friend, Head Councilman Havensor. The Councilman urges the Ironforge to protect the rifle at all costs because of it's importance to both Psunami and Rednedonian history.

The majority of Zlubourgh, city with a border checkpoint and origin of the defeated fascist "rebellion" is on fire. Firefighters and civilians alike are trying to extinguish the flames which are attacking the city. It is unclear if the fire is a large scale terrorist attack or just a very unlucky accident. Reports say that the old castle (which was closed to visitors due to its importance to the banned fascist ZL) is not spared from the fire. Although the fire is still raging the police ready started to investigate the case.
