GALEYANS CONFIRMED TO BE OF EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL ORIGIN

SCIENCE/TECHNOLOGY

Galeyans confirmed to be of extra-terrestrial origin

The recently discovered Galeyan tribe has now been confirmed to be of extraterrestrial origin.

Indusian researchers launched an expedition to study the tribe. The researchers spent two weeks with
the tribespeople, during which they performed tests on and observed the mannerisms and behaviour of
the Galeyans.

The researchers published their findings in an article in the Indusian Journal of General Knowledge, the
nation's premier academic journal. The article concluded that the Galeyans' claims that they came from
outer space were true, dispelling once and for all the Potenzian government's claims that they are a cult.

The discoveries prompted a speech from Indusian Prime Minister Amish Haldar.

"This is an exciting moment for humanity," he said. "For the first time in history, we now know that we
are not alone in the universe."

"We can now conclude that it is not only possible, but likely, that there is even more extra-terrestrial life
out there, waiting to be discovered. The goal for the Royal Indusian Space Administration, and other space
agencies around the world, now, is to find it."

"To make sure that the Kingdom of the Indus continues to spearhead searches for extra-terrestrial life in
the future, we will increase funding for the RISA. Thank you."

After this announcement, Vantier is shocked and disgusted. The fact that there are aliens and no other nations aren't doing anything about it, even though it has been confirmed that Galeyans are aliens, is terrifying. These aliens will attempt to ambush and annihilate us, so we must deal with them as soon as HUMANLY possible.
The New Roman government believes that we will be their first victim due to proximity. As a result, the New Roman navy has been fully mobilized and has been sent to patrol the waters between Africa and Antartica, waiting for the government to let them attack Galeya.

The New Roman government has urged the rest of the world to immediately form an international coalition to slaughter the aliens and secure our planet.

You know, the way other nations treat Galeyans is quiet disturbing, it's as if you treat them as cattle rather than a fellow inteligent life form.... but then again I'm a war criminal who treats Sulas as the pests that they are so i really have no right to say anything.

The Liberal Democratic Union diplomatically recognises these nations and territories on an international level.

Note:

NPC land (land that is not part of a LDU nation) is available for claim. To claim a piece of land, post in the Regional Message Board AND send a telegram to Potenzia.

If the land you want to claim has already been claimed, you can still send a telegram and it may become available, especially in regards to nations and empires that have already claimed a lot of territory. (Nations with an asterisk (*) are puppet nations and may also be subject to change.)

All nations should have at least one Factbook and remain active to maintain their spot on the map. Nations that do not participate in the regional role-play or have not posted on the RMB for 60 days or more will be removed at the discretion of the cartographer.

NationStates Announcement:

Nation Name Release

Every decade or so, we adjust the name re-use rules, allowing some previously reserved nation names to be reused for founding new nations. It's that time again! Starting next week, you can create nations with names of ex-nations with populations between 500 million and 1 billion.

This doesn't happen often, because we want people to be able to come back years later and revive their old nations. But with eight million nations created over the last twenty years, it's harder than ever to find a good name.

Names only become available for re-use if a nation has been inactive for five years, isn't a Site Supporter, and doesn't meet a range of other criteria.

The population threshold will rise from 500M at the rate of 10M per day, so it will take a couple of months before we reach 1B, in order to avoid a rush for desirable nation names. You can see when (or if) a name will become available for re-use by checking it in the Boneyard. Once a nation name is re-used, any previous nation of that name can no longer be refounded.

I feel like every issue result decreases my pacifism.

Er... RP isn't the same as real time.

I have other things going on in real life, so I can't devote all my time to RPing.
