I'm not conservative enough.
But I'm closer to Skrakia.
The last time I did a test on political tendencies I always stuck on liberal democracy (not in the US meaning but in European one).

Dont the Taliban run the mountains/north
Sadly, the Taliban run the whole country right now, firmly. But, besides being Islamic extremists, they are also Pashtun nationalists. They were able to sweep the country thanks to softening their stance and bringing non-Pashtuns into their ranks during their insurgency phase, but have since been incrementally kicking out non-Pashtuns from middle management in the north.
That is why a number of individuals online have suggested that the secession of northern Afghanistan, on the grounds of resisting Pashtun domination, remains the most likely prospect for any part of the country to throw off the emirate. That, and the Taliban's views stem from Deobani theology in southern Afghanistan & western Pakistan.
Do you live in Aganistan
I myself no. But I am in touch with the Tajik (second biggest ethnicity in Afghanistan) diaspora online. There's a big struggle in getting the Tajiks, Hazaras (third biggest) and Uzbeks (fourth biggest) back in Afghanistan to overcome infighting (both within & between their ethnicities) and consolidate an opposition to the Taliban.
All the same, Khorasani separatism is likely to be the only ideological vehicle which could eventually take ground from the emirate, given how many Pashtuns either support the Taliban or practice futility in trying to negotiate them into reform (because the emirate has at least established a Pashtun hegemony over Afghanistan).
It'll be harder to establish a strong liberal or moderately Islamist resistance to the emirate, across all ethnic groups, than for the non-Pashtuns to decide upon some kind of confederacy separating from Afghanistan on grounds of nationalism. You'll find many arguing against this, to be clear. This is just my take.
I have no idea of any of those groups.
