Ariana looked out her bedroom window, which overlooked the New Raleigh skyline. The glistening lights of the buildings, concerts, vehicles, and everything else interested her. She could hear music, car horns, and emergency vehicle sirens. Just an average night in the city, really.
She was thinking about the current situation of the world, as she oftentimes did. She thought about what new direction she could bring the NUC in next. But she wasn't sure. It seems like war is being handled at least for now. But because of that war, she couldn't propose a new space colony, because who knew what would happen out there?
Next, she turned to domestic issues. The Department of Urban development was already handling the development of the new cities. There wasn't much else she could do on that front besides sit back and watch them grow.
She sighed, not really knowing what to do. Her family had taken a vacation to New spiedska not long ago. Somewhere in West Celestiam. So she was pretty much alone to just her; without her family, and the lack of action to take, she was unsure as to what she should do with herself.
Something then dawned upon her. The thought of another American nation reminded her of diplomacy. But she had already met President Amanda not long ago, so she wasn't sure if Amanda would be willing to come back so soon. And she honestly had no idea what was happening in Kurater sugoyonkordia, despite them being a border nation. But last she checked, they were rather isolationist. That left another nation. 
Mordusville.
Mordusville is the closets to the old United States one could get to in the modern world. Culturally, it wasn't much different from the past, apart from some obvious ideological changes of course. They had wonderful cities, such as Chicago, Cincinnati, Lansing, Greenbay, and even Detriot despite its apparent rough past. Though there was a key trading partner with the New united carolinas, it had been years since a Carolinian President and a Mordusian president have actually met one on one in a meeting of diplomacy.
But if they were going to have one, she hoped it'd be in Mordusville. She just wanted to get out of New Raleigh for a bit.
She quickly drafted a message for the Department of Foreign Affairs, which asked President Thomas Tyler if they'd like to speak together for diplomacy's sake. What they'd speak about was unknown to her, but as long as they were better friends after they separated. Hell, maybe Pegasus starships would construct there.
Once she finished her draft, she corrected it, perfected it, and had it digitally messaged to the Department of Foreign Affairs for them to see the next day.
Finally, after being relieved of a lack of purpose, President Ariana decided to get ready for bed, hoping that Mordusville would respond.

It has come to our attention that our nation, which we thought was insignificant to the larger conflict at hand, has become somewhat prevalent in the way of support, embassies, technology, and general knowledge. Since our recognition by the world, we have witnessed the beginning of the German - Italian War, which has grown into a war between what is known as the Galactic Axis, and the versailles Pact. During the time of this conflict, we have has either telegrams or discussions with both sides of the conflict from nations that either lead their respective faction or have a prevalent representation in it. Both the Galactic Axis and the versailles Pact have both, either directly or through delegations, expressed some level of interest in bringing the Empire of Scherzinger into their Alliance.
This said, we have expressed our neutrality in this conflict, and thus would like to have little to do with both sides until more is known about them, not to mention should Scherzinger be forced to pick a side, that the choice be justified and proper. We have noticed that with this neutral standing, we have seemed to return to the isolationism that we were attempting to reverse. This said, it is hard to believe that we would find ourselves attempting to reverse isolation during a global if not galactic conflict, one where we find ourselves wondering if we will need to utilize the strength, size, and majesty of High Charity II.
That aside, we have come to realise that to reverse isolationism, we have to take the steps ourselves to know our fellow nation, instead of waiting for them to come to us. I believe that by doing this, it will make our nation, her people, and her talents, more useful and interesting to neighbouring nations, as well as those on other continents and even other planets. I feel that my job as Empress would be woefully inadequately done if i did not take this step myself. With this, I believe it is best we take these steps now.

The Ministry oversees the Japanese administrative system, manages local governments, local elections, telecommunication, post, and governmental statistics. They also may provide fund to aid relief in certain areas as well as other needs if the situation needs.
Ministry of Finance (Budget: $35,060,147,369 [40%])
Regarded as one of the most powerful Ministries in the Japanese Government, the Ministry has power over banking supervision and control over Japan's monetary policy. It's money maybe used to inject cash or put money into banks so that they don't collapse and stir chaos.
There is also another large branch of the Cabinet Office, being one of the top 3 most funded and considered important in Japan. The Ministry of Welfare (Social Welfare: $187,822,218,049 [15%]), the Ministry of Welfare deals with paying for things like Pensions, Insurance, etc. so that people are not overburdened.This Ministry is led by Minister of Welfare Ohashi Ayako.
The Social Welfare and War Victims' Relief Bureau (Budget: $18,782,221,805 [10%])
This Bureau oversee's the welfare of people with disabilities as well as Victims' of War who had lost a family member to an armed war or battle against foreign enemies. The Department of Health and Welfare for People with Disabilities gets 50% of the $18.8 Billion provided to them while the War Victims' Relief Bureau gets the other half.
The Veterans Pension Bureau (Budget: $18,782,221,805 [10%])
This Bureau oversee's the Pensions of the men and women who serve in the Imperial Sakura Force. If the veteran were to be Killed In Action or pass away at an early age. These Pensions are transferred to the family of the veteran.
The Welfare Bureau for the Elderly (Budget: $28,173,332,707 [15%])
The Welfare Bureau for the Elderly oversee's the welfare of the fragile population of Japan. If an Elderly man or woman is not able to sustain him or herself with their pensions. This is where the Welfare Bureau for the Elderly comes in and provides funds to the Elders monthly to support them.

The Pension Bureau is a branch of the Ministry of Welfare that oversees the millions of labors and their pension accounts. Often this Bureau funds money into the Pension account while the Employer and Employee pays their part. This is so that it doesn't overburden small businesses or the Employees of these businesses that fear for their future.

Councils are a smaller branches of the Ministry of Welfare that deal with other needs.

The Labour Insurance Appeal Committee deals with making sure every Laborer is insured by the Imperial Government or the Insurance Companies. They also have a bit of their budget to insure laborers if anything happen.

These provide Medical Insurance to people who need it or can't afford to get insurance from a privately owned insurance company.
Examination Committee of Social Insurance (Budget: $939,111,090 [10%])
This Committee often inspects and provides immediate assistance to those who are sick, unemployed or in need of assistance.
Examination Committee for Certification of Sickness and Disability (Budget: $1,408,666,635 [15%])
This Committee often provides funds to those sick or having a disability that makes them unable to work temporarily or permanently.
Examination Committee for Relief Assistances (Budget: $1,408,666,635 [15%])
This Committee provides relief assistance to those who are in dire need of government assistance to support themselves or their family in such cases.

A bit of a boring region very detailed role play but not a lot of it, Very serious
On going wars with other regions very suspicious towards new members would not recommend.

OOC: I feel that I should be insulted by this rating and I am, so if I may offer you some parting words.
1) We do not war with other regions. When I use region in my rp, I refer to geographical regions of our rp map, as do my fellow rp nations. We are not a warring region like the CCD or The Black Hawks as a couple of examples.
2) It really depends on what you define as boring. The RMB is not the entirety of our region. Unlike most regions, we prefer to keep our socializing in our discord, which was advertised in the RMB Board at the top of the region page, which you chose not to exploit.
3) Our roleplay is quite detailed and quite serious, relating back to my previous point, our roleplay is serious and thus we ask that all non-roleplay comments be kept to a minimum unless necessary.
4) NationStates is full of trolls and recruit spammers. It really is not a bad thing to be suspicious of someone who joins your region, and last time I checked, nobody was hostile about you coming here, especially since you explained why you were here, and since then, we have treated you with nothing but respect and assistance. Were suspicious as any other region would be. Especially since we are coming off an incident where we had to remove 3 trolls, 1 recruit spammer, and a nation that did not get along with others here. Forgive us if we are just a little wary.
I ask that if this is your rating, that it be taken with a grain of salt and an asterisk because, all respect, you clearly did not fully inspect and explore the region, and your rating is thus inaccurate.
im not saying it has to be a perfect 5/5. We are not perfect and no region is. (Neither are your rating skills all respect.) All I am saying is that you shouldn't be rating regions if you are going to do such a shoddy inspection. Cheers.

A hint from a fellow nomad: Review regions only on The Embassy's RMB, rather than the region you're in at that moment in time. Secondly, review regions in one of the categories listed in The Embassy's TourAdvisor dispatch. Finally, try to be nice in your reviews. I will probably be reviewing this region's WFE, as I might struggle to find parts of community to give a good and fair review, and with a WFE review I can talk about RP dispatches because it is somewhat similar.
