I am running for the cabinet position Director of Foreign Affairs for NWE. Overall, I hope to make NWE a Region known all across NationStates. I intend to do this through two key focuses.

1. Create Positive Relationships With Like-Minded Regions

This doesn't mean NWE only focuses on having diplomatic relations with Regions who mirror our beliefs, but hold some of the same values. Democracy, freedom from tyranny or oppression, and a fair chance to make a difference are all positions NWE holds dear. I intend to seek out other Regions that hold these values, and create diplomatic relations. With many Regions uniting under the principles mentioned above, a larger network to combat Nazism, Racism, Fascism, and other horrible ideals will prevail.

2. Become Proactive In Identifying Regions That Pose Threats

This could be a threat to our Region specifically, or any Region that holds values close to NWE. In order to do this, I will attempt to create a new division under Foreign Affairs, called the Foreign Intelligence Service. This division will be focused on identifying potential threats, developing ways to neutralize said threats, and communicating information to allies or other Regions.

With focusing on these two areas, I believe I can help NWE gain greater notoriety and also better protect our own citizens and residents.

A little about me:

In my time with NWE, I have assisted the former DoFA with numerous treaty/alliance talks with other Regions, served as a Foreign Affairs advisor to the DoFA and Deputy DoFA, represented NWE in speaking to other Regions' legislative branches and government officials, and have recently become interim Director of Foreign Affairs.

Before NWE, I have served other Regions as a military strategist, foreign affairs advisor, and have assisted in developing multiple Constitutions for developing Regions.

I feel I bring the passion, experience, and dedication to lead the Foreign Affairs division of our great Region.
