you can say that again
A brief news update from Hulldom:
-In by-elections held earlier this month, the Government gained one seat. They held on to the Brechin seat formerly held by the Speaker and they gained the Guiseley seat via their coalition partners Labor over former holders the Liberals.
-Tomorrow, MPs are expected to pass the Parliamentary Budget for 2019-21 which includes: a 10% funding increase to nearly £1.1 billion for the Parliamentary Record, Parliamentary Inquiry Services, and the Libraries of the House and Scotland Road pay increases for all employees on the estate funded via the nearly £780 million annual surplus turned over by the Parliamentary Estate and the Estate of the Duke of Forfar which funds partly Parliament.
-MPs also approved pay increases starting with the fall session for themselves (all rates per annum): £194,527.80 is the base rate for MPs, Shadow Cabinet officials will receive £211,409.50 (in line with Parliamentary Private Secretaries), Whips will receive £217,650.00, the Leader of HM Most Loyal Opposition will receive £234,076.00 alongside Ministers and Deputy Speakers, while the Speaker and Prime Minister will receive £250,000.00 starting with the fall session.
Trust me. The fascism rout wonít get you anywhere. We have a bad taste in our mouths from last fascists so fascism isnít exactly welcome. If you want members itís best to just go the standard conservative rout
Weíre just trying to bring new ideas to the table. Do you have to agree with us or even respect our opinions? No. If you donít agree with our opinions so be it, but this region was built on diversity of opinions, so this party is definitely legal (as long as we comply with nsís rules) so weíre here to stay. So you might as well at least tolerate us.
Edit: Also why should we be held accountable for what members of a different party did? We didnít partake in it. Thatís like throwing me in jail because my dad was found guilty of robing a bank, but died before he could start his sentence!
