Again, I told you what you need to do, that is the best you’re going to get.

If you’re lucky, Airol will be petty and you’ll be the one who comes out looking good, so again, I suggest you do what I say.

The term "asking peace" does not usually cover forceful annexations of territory of which the other country does not wish to give up.

never negotiated so how do i know?

Trust Iona here. What little you gain now perhaps could lead to fuller gain of what you want later. It's worth to take this sacrifice.

It doesn’t sound like it when you demand Airol give up his territory.

I’m trying to help you, please take my advice.

Might want to ask the Governor or Lt. Governor for help.

Well. It doesn’t need to be long considering there’s no strings attached, something like this:

TREATY OF CAPE SHIELD

i. Rainbowsix will revoke all attempts to invade or occupy Dijakovia or any other Airolian territory.

ii. Airol will cease all provocations and aggressive manoeuvres towards Rainbowsix, including the return of an Airolian fleet adjacent to Rainbowsixian waters to home territory.

iii. Rainbowsix and Airol will agree to involve no third parties, including the Justice Minister and Governor. and the Treaty of Cape Shield will be the final resolution to the Rainbowsixian-Airolian conflict.

vi. The stipulations for the Treaty of Cape Shield only apply to the ongoing Rainbowsixian-Airolian conflict, and would not apply to any hypothetical future disagreement or separate transgressions.

There you go, easy.

Pretty much. Although making it sound more formal would help.

Now, what I suggest you do, is offer a peace treaty to Airol, with no strings attached. You have no leverage anymore, and offering a peace treaty will show the world that you are the one negotiating in good faith and are committed for a resolution. It will then transfer the heat toward Airol.

I'm tired of this "higher forces" bullcrap.

Straona wrote:Pretty much. Although making it sound more formal would help.

That’s not formal??? Wtf

Rainbowsix wrote:but i dont want this permanent.. cuz what if in the future something happens... maybe 6 month treaty?

Treaty’s are usually permanent unless you pull a Hitler move and violate them.

Fair point, I’ll make another term.

I mean like how an actual treaty writer would write it. That looks formal but it also is kinda blunt but it’s not up to me.

I mean I think it’s pretty well-written.

There might be a couple of flaws that may not muster an extremely rigid formality test, but for the purposes of rp, I think it’s more than good enough.
