In a stunning win, the Pelicans secure their victory in the 2020 RNLB season. Their victory breaks the trend of Great Patrick sports teams making it to the finals and losing. Pelicans win the series (4-1).
BIGGEST RIG OF ALL TIME. I had 3 frickin teams in the semi-finals and none of them won. Frick the RNLB!

TANK SEZ BRRRRRRRRRRVVMMMM
Someone do something
Please
We're all struggling and we all know that. We all have stuff needed to get done. I cannot do both my job to the Region and satisfy the needs of my personal life so heres the deal: I, Minimark, World Assembly Delegate of Region Name, Moderator of the NIC, RAC, and RARC, hereby order a partial shutdown of the Government of Region Name. My powers as Delegate are limited, so heres what I can't shut down:
The Peace Committee
The Elections Commision
The Defense Department
The Legislature
The Judiciary
These departments will need to make their own calls when the time comes. However heres what I am going to do for my sake, for your sake, and for the sake of the Region:
Hereby suspend the ACSC, NIC, RARC, and RAC from any actions until the 21st of September, year 2020.
These committees will meet on the weekend of the 18th of September to the 20th of September to discuss each members transition back to working, and if the committee can operate efficiently. They may only talk about this and not about the jobs of the committee
An Official Reccomendation will need to be passed by the committee, approved by the Moderator and sent to the delegate for further examination in which he may veto it with his own judgement and set a new timeline for return to action
The Delegate must chose a new time for Committee Activity to resume, and this new time must be within 2 weeks of the 21st.
The same process as in Article 1 Section a will be followed before this new time which will be on a Monday
In the suspension of the ACSC, all future leagues, including the NACL and IBC will be suspended until further notice.
If the ACSC returns to business these leagues do not necessairly need to, that is up to the discretion of the delegate.
The Delegate, however must allow the leagues to return given a 4/5ths majority of ACSC members agreeing they have time to do so
The RNLB and RCA playoffs will be granted exemption and be allowed to proceed to a championship
In the suspension of the RARC, A New Moderator who is not Minimark must be chosen for committee proceedings to begin
Minimark will act as Moderator during the reopening meetings, but he must hold elections or allow new people on the committee if nobody currently on there wishes to hold the job.
This grants him the right to allow hypothetical members into discussion in order to determine the final 5 members of the RARC including the new Moderator.
He may remove no more than 2 current members of the RARC, including if he removes himself
The new Moderator of the RARC must be on the Recommendation sent to the Delegate
In the suspension of the NIC, no new papers will be published on the 13th of September, but the NIC must produce an end of month edition returning to form
The NIC Moderator will begin requesting articles on the 26th of September regardless of their September 18th-20th meeting.
If the NIC votes to return to biweekly editions, those will begin in October
If the NIC votes to keep the moratorium, the next edition for October will also be monthy, and they will meet every 2 weeks discussing a return to biweekly
The Press Secretary right to control the new time period covered by a paper if he feels that 2 weeks has become either too long or too short, is hereby suspended.
This right will return in October, 2020
The Next Edition of the Region Name Times shall Officially be published on September 30th, 2020
Members of the NIC may write individual articles to cover Roleplay, sports, or political news if they deem fit, but they still must be sent to the Press Secretary for editing and publishing
In the suspension of the RAC, the meeting on the period between the 18th and 20th shall also raise the question of dissolving of the RAC
If they vote dissolve, the RAC will be dissolved and members merged into the Foriegn Advisory Board of the Delegate
The Foriegn Advisory Board of the Delegate is granted Veto power if they unamionously disagree with the delegates decision
If the RAC votes to remain active, the Speaker may still put up a bill dissolving their committee in which the voice of the Region shall be respected and the RAC members will not be added to the Foriegn Advisory Board
Roleplay, the actions of the Legislature, and Peace Committee shall be free to go as they please. Roleplay will not be paused and is encouraged to continue.
It is hereby recommended to the Speaker to reform the Peace Committee such that it is an independent body of people not participating in Roleplay who shall be chosen by participants in a conflict to act as a judge of the conflict to keep Roleplay civil.
The Delegate will not conduct foriegn affairs in this time. He will rebegin diplomacy at the approval of the Advisory Board.
This may just seem like more laws and it is. Laws are just words, the intent of them matters. We need to look out for eachother and be judges of one another. We need to judge when somebody is taking on more than they can. We need to judge one another to the best ability. I know some of us don't know eachother well, but in the end everyone knows somebody. Watch out for that somebody. We are a union of nations. Unity isn't based on letting people do what they want but watching out for their best interests. RP isn't frozen so you can always do that, and our Region can keep going. But judge one another. We've known our respective defendants for at least 2 years. We can get through this, and we will get through this troubling time. Region Names government will operate once again and I bet my office on that. But fo now, it is best we remain vigilant. It is best we know each others limits, respect them, and wait and restructure when the time comes to fit eachothers new schedules. These meetings upcoming are important and what our judgement is meant for. Look out for eachother in real life and support eachother also. These next 3 weeks are not to be spent focusing extrenuous time and effort on the Region. They are to be spent enlightening our minds, and supporting one another in the great world beyond. We are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full victory. Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking. Good Luck Gentlemen.
World Assembly Delegate of Region Name
Minimark
Everyone the government shutdown ends in 10 days. Please check your respective committee to see its meeting date and time. All have been set besides the ACSC. Also the Legislative shutdown should end in the next 10 days

Breaking News from Pianta
After months of extensive research during a complete shutdown, a conclusion has been reached, and we now know what oatmeal is.
This research has proved to be extremely productive for the nation, with many health centers reevaluating their health plans to accommodate for the new findings on oatmeal.
