Should we accept the embassy construction request?
Do we have a limit on how many we can have? I don't see why not, I suppose.
I have no idea what the upsides and downsides of having embassies in our region is, but I don't think we should be isolationist, so sure.
There is no limit on how many embassies we can have. The only thing embassies do is allow you to post on people's message boards afaik. The votes have it! :)
Also do y'all wanna be officers? If so, lemme know what titles you would like. Also I guess should we coordinate world assembly votes, and choose a delegate?

Alright, so to get a delegate, everyone has to be a part of the world assembly, and then we go onto the person we want to be delegate's nation page, and at the bottom it'll give you the option of endorsing that person. whoever has the most endorsements becomes the delegate.
Delegates basically have the voting power of the entire region iirc, so their vote would be worth 3 votes. The only downside to being in the WA is that the decisions can affect your nation negatively (like one time it brought down my civil or political rights 14 points), but it can also affect it positively, but that is a rarer thing.
Also, since we're considering delegates my voting record is I vote for things I think will improve my nations stats (human rights etc) and vote against repeals against said bills (though i don't think repeals negatively affect you). I also vote or abstain for commendations and vote against or abstain for condemnations. Have a wonderful night all! :)
Forgot to mention, you can endorse as many people as you want, there is no limit.
Char has been leading his nation for longer than the rest of us, so he seems like a good candidate, though I could be persuaded otherwise. I'd like to see a delegate who is seeking to dismantle capitalism bit by bit.

I don't know how much input or what reports you guys would like to see regarding World Assembly affairs, but just to let you know I have lent support to a proposal lodged by the People's Republic of Free Santa Rosa that seeks to end private prisons and ensure they are not run for profit.
I guess just like some general blotters like that would be cool.
Definitely eliminating private prisons is something I'm 100% on board with. Go with your gut, we trust you.
World Assembly update: The World Assembly is voting on whether or not to ban the forced sterilisation of minors and "incompetent people" unless an independant health board determines it is neccessary for the individual's long term health. It's basically aimed at preventing eugenics. Cornutaria intends to support the ban, since we have a general anti-eugenics stance.
