VOTE!
I just searched up "create a nation game" on google
and the rest is history
I started playing in 2017 (not with this nation, another one), and then I CTE'd until 2020, right after Drewapocalypse thank god
I've only watched like 2 of his videos, including the NS one

If you haven't voted, you have a few more days to vote.
Make sure you read through the constitution before voting
i mean, i understand where anti-nuclear sentiment comes from, but it's honestly naive of someone to say "nuclear bad!" without any acknowledgement of the pros of it. Nuclear is a good source of energy, of course it has problems, but the complete attack on nuclear we see from some people is rooted in ignorance.
Nuclear is the safest form of energy. Significantly safer than coal, oil, or natural gas. It’s also much more reliable than renewables such as solar and wind because you know... sometimes it isn’t sunny or windy? My opinion is that nuclear should be used as a transitional energy from fossil fuels, which are absolutely horrible and we literally have to stop using them ASAP, to renewables which are ideal.
ok but thats a trivial detail which ignores the greater point i was trying to make...
anyway
I had a discussion with my dad about how we need to use nuclear energy as a transition, and it went in one ear and out the other
my dad: "would you want to live next to a nuclear power plant?"
me: "i mean no??? but would you rather live next to a fossil fuel plant?"
him: "it's a different risk."
me: "yeah, and it's a risk that's significantly lower than that of living next to a fossil fuel plant."
him: "you can't compare them. it's a different risk"
me: "they're actually very easy to compare. if you look at stats"
*sigh*
Strange coincidence. Who would have thought that burning coal causes lung cancer???
Good morning everyone
