(Preemptive disclaimer: This is about the ANTIFA in NationStates, not the real-world ANTIFA) : reporduced from the dispatch of Anti-antifa factbook holder

(ANOTHER preemptive disclaimer: I do not condone racism or nazism, and it is a shame I have to put that disclaimer here)

I suppose I should support my claim, but it is simply too depressing to comprehend how abhorrent these false crusaders really are. However, it is wholesome entertainment to unload a fresh bowel movement right onto the largest meme of all political entities, which is, of course, ANTIFA and affiliated evil-doers.

Let's take a look at their primary focus and objective, which is obviously ridding the world of the terrible disease known as fascism and nazism, because god forbid a government oppresses their people! (USSR under Stalin totally didn't fall under this) You can observe these crusaders by searching for regions with the minuscule and anti-fascist tags, as they love to parade about with their "trophies". You may be asking, "but aren't the fascists the big bad meanie heads?", and I would reply, with a simple "No." We can use real world examples to support this idea, as the communists had a grand time starving and murdering nearly 100 million, while the Nazi orchestrated holocaust caused only around 8-10 million deaths. Would you take a gander at that one folks, maybe the fascists aren't the big problem after all! Not to mention, fascism promotes a strong state and defends the populace, while the left wing contradictory states opt instead to institute failed economic systems, starve millions to death, and eventually collapse as the people realize communism isn't such a utopian godsend after all. Some people may also claim that because the fascists are not allowing political freedoms in their nation, then they are bad and evil. Come on you saps, dictatorships will exist as long as the concept of a nation continues to exist, so don't pretend that communist dictatorships are any more delightful than fascist ones. Furthermore, attempting to stage a counter-argument about how "these new communist states aren't evil dictators ships like Stalin, no, we're not like that!" are laughable. When they mention "All communist nations from history were definitionally not communist, because communism promotes the removal of borders, traditional government, blah blah blah", they are saying that actual nations that managed to last several decades DO NOT represent their ideology, and that tiny, temporary fringe movements like the Paris Commune, that only lasted TWO MONTHS, does represent them accurately. Let that soak in. Next time, remember that when you see a communist ANTIFA force squandering small nationalist or fascist region.

Earlier, I mentioned a nice little word known as "contradictory", so now, let me introduce you to a similar word, which is "hypocrisy". Let us indulge in the wisdom of the logic of ANTIFA as we delve into some of their claims: "Fascism is not protected under free speech!" Well, if the aforementioned communists love to kill and oppress even more than the fascists, at a scale of nearly 10x more, then I suppose your favored ideology is not protected under free speech either, now is it? But you don't talk about that one do you? You claim that fascism is a representation of criminal actions, and therefore, is not protected under free speech like child pornography. A sound analogy at first glance, but once you realize that a lot of these fascists aren't actually doing anything that bad at all, your little claim justly falls apart. "We stand to save NationStates from hate!" Oh please, the last time I saw a real Nazi parading about spewing Anti-Semitic slurs they were banned by the moderators. What you're truly doing here is depriving fascist and nationalist people of their rights as human beings to express themselves. You're just looking to either target people you disagree with to boost your ego or to give your day a purpose. These people you persecute are usually not even racist or bigoted at all, and yet, you continually, and might I add quite hatefully, purge them off of the face of the earth. Now, that sounds a lot like something a certain man with a silly mustache did to people he didn't like as well, doesn't it!

Now, let's continue on to one of their most notorious behaviors, which is their constant raiding of other regions. ANTIFA is known for its staunch anti-fascist stance, and they spread like fungi on a dead log as they try to rid NationStates of such a terrible disease, as they love saying. However, they achieve a raid that benefits anybody at all very rarely, as hardly ANY of the regions they raid are nazis or hateful fascists. You know what the rest are? They are neutral nationalists, conservative democracies, non-bigoted fascists, monarchies, constitutional monarchies, the list goes on and on. They always justify their actions as "We TaRgEt ThIs ReGiOn dUe To iTs AfFiLiAtIoN wItH NaZi HaTe", when usually none is evident. These war mongering gorillas simply want to conquer territory, and they use a scape goat as an easy justification method to acquire land. Wow, that sounds a lot like something Hitler did, doesn't it!

But wait, there’s more! I must also bring to light the apparent ignorance of the ANTIFA movement as a whole. One of their core principles is that the ideology of fascism stands for hatred and oppression, and that is it. They constantly ramble about how the fascist ideology is “polluting” NationStates, when that is far from the truth. The truth is quite the opposite; these ANTIFA buffoons are the ones who are actually polluting NationStates. As previously mentioned, many fascists they raid are not even anti-Semitic or racist at all, rather, they are simply totalitarian or nationalist regions which are based around glorifying the state and well-being of the people, not racism. Taking this harmful lie that ANTIFA preaches into account, it is easy to see why fascism is always labeled with a negative connotation. It doesn’t help that the arguably most well-known fascist nation in history was a Nazi regime that killed over 8 million. The Nazis were the minority in the fascist world, as there have been more than 5 other fascist nations in the world besides the Nazis. ANTIFA claims they are silencing the evil fascist oppressors, but ANTIFA is really the evil oppressor silencing those who they believe are evil, when they are actually not.

The bottom line here, is that these ANTIFA entities have unknowingly become what they set out to eliminate, which is hatred. They continually suppress freedoms, oppress citizens, persecute specific groups, and war monger, all of which fits the perfect description of the Nazi regime. Now, I won't dive into the broader topic of "SJW and Leftist menace", as that is a much larger fish to fry, and I simply do not have the time right now to write a 4000 page essay on why they are the biggest pile of incoherency on the planet. That is a story for another day. These witch hunters are not at all here to do what they say they are. Like the aforementioned SJW and leftists, there are some in ANTIFA who aren't actually all that much communist or any of that nonsense, they are just part of the new generation of snowflakes who think they have the right to be offended by anything they please, and that them being offended actually means something. But let's not get into that right now. However, in ANTIFA there are some who are truly dedicated to wiping out true racism and Nazism in the faction, and to those people, I have 6 words for them: "You are on the wrong side". ANTIFA is not the right place for you. I personally do not agree fully with fascism, but I certainly hate communism, and I think the citizenry of the nation should have some limited freedoms and civil rights, but not so much to where they are enabled to tamper with and tear down the fabric of society and science, like the radical left and liberals are attempting to do in the modern day United States. Call it a limited democracy, conservative democracy, authoritarian democracy, or whatever, I don't care. To those aforementioned people who truly wish to fight racists and evil entities, you are on the wrong side whether you know it or not. If you want to fight the truly racist and evil people in the world, you need to go found a new organization, because the NationStates ANTIFA should be one of the things you want to fight by definition.

After considering all of that fun stuff, I hope you can come to the conclusion that the ANTIFA and communist menace is the true enemy of all nations of the world, not the fascists. Many fascists I know are not at all like the Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy of WWII. They are reasonable and competent people, I know some personally outside of NationStates, and they're people just like you and I. (Well, not so much like those ANTIFA animals, amirite?) At the end of the day, the fascists are not the enemy of freedom, it's ANTIFA and the left. If you have a bone to pick with the fascists, do it AFTER we finally band together and rid NationStates of these evil-doers.

Alas, this is simply another rant about politics in the massive sea of such articles flooding the internet these days. Some people will 100% agree with this factbook, some people will only agree with some of it, and some people will cry about it and call me a privileged fascist neo-nazi racist cis scumbag. I could add plenty more about these evil-doers, or expand on why the SJW and liberal movement in the USA are just as bad as ANTIFA, but that is a rant for another day, isn't it.

If you agree with this article, spread it around NationStates. Post it in your RMBs, post it in your forum threads, hell, telegram it to your friends if you want, anything you do to spread this article is hopefully informing more people that the NationStates ANTIFA are the true evil of the game.

“Why do you think people defected from the Soviet Union back in the day, under the threat of imprisonment and death? Why do you think people are still risking their lives to swim out of Cuba? Just for fun? Why do you think every communist state was born in violence and held together by fear and isolation? If this is such a wonderful ideology that makes everything better for everyone, why is it that the only way for it to succeed is to force itself down people's throats?”
- Former Citizen Of The Soviet Union
Communism is but a form of slavery, controlling the masses under its tactics of fear. In all of history, those that used the principles of communism have showed nothing but pure tyranny and death of many people. Communism also abolishes religion as the government believes themselves as a “God”. Materialism becomes a big philosophy within Communism. This philosophy is dangerous and flawed. The teachings are as such, man is a electrochemical machine and nothing more. There is no soul, no spirit. Nothing but all things physical, down to just matter. So if this is one of the main philosophies of communism, why live? If there is no purpose in life, what will make a difference if you live or die? There is no hope for the better, no afterlife to strive for so my existence is but a stone on land. That’s communism for you.

Adding, in a Communist State, no matter how hard you work, all is paid and given equal effort. So say Bob and John go out to work. Bob goes out to help build a new statue for the government leader while John just sits around. After the day is over, everyone gets their pay. All equally no matter the effort put in. Same goes for a test, most get an A but one or two get an F, that gets rounded off for a equal grade of about a C. So basically no matter how hard you work, all gets equal credit. There is no purpose in a Communist State as no matter the effort put in for success it equals out for those that are sitting at home, unemployed. This results in the reduced incentives to work hard.

Communism is wrong, an evil ideology that only wants power and will do anything to achieve such. Will hurt it’s lower class, will destroy nations/regions and use the forces of hate and fear as its supply. There is no purpose in a Communist state, only destruction.

Antifa and Its Allies:

Antifa is an organization of radical principles, claiming to be “Anti-Fascist” and helping make society safer from hate as they claim. Though as shown in past and recent events, Antifa is a dangerous organization only spreading hate which goes against what they are fighting for. They use physical violence to hurt anyone who believes in conservative principles. They are extremists, antichrists only spreading their Communist beliefs while hurting anyone that doesn’t believe what they do. Antifa is just another weapon of Communism, they must be silenced to restore a safe environment so unity can be made for the better.
Beware of Antifa and their allies, organizations of hate and destruction.

Fascism is not the evil you heard throughout your life, it’s not the boogeyman under your bed or in your closet. Fascism is the ideology of making the world a better place. It’s more than just a political belief, it’s a belief that helps every part of society. Making Government better for the people, making the environment a priority, keeping our military powerful against threats from everyday life. Not only that, Fascism also brings the the old traditions back. The respect, the courage, the will to do better. Fascism is not racist, in fact in a fascist society, all who are within are treated equal no matter what color you are, as long as you work hard and support the state in tough times. So before you listen to another, do your own research and you will learn we are not evil, those that tell you we are, are the true evil.

Originally composed by Fascist sparta & Atsuria in a Ministry of Truth collaborative project, this official guide has been re-written with new additions, improvements and general edits while -at the same time- maintaining an appropriate level of respect for the content of the original work and the time and effort invested in it; having henceforth updated the guide without sacrificing the integrity of its original message.

Fascism is often spoken of in a derogatory way that denotes a negligent and oppressive dictatorship; tyranny and the destruction of all that is good. Some modern historians of fascism have gone so far as to claim that fascism is "utterly diabolical"; that only the absolute worst of men will support it and its tenets without hesitation; that for others with moral limits and principles support for fascism is due to personal benefit or opportunism, and support will be rejected and denied at the point where the "atrocities" become too much to bear. Of course, such terminology does not make distinctions nor consider the picture in detail; all of fascism is all the same and is all bad. And for anyone to be critical with thought of the status quo or of our modern parliamentary democracy, to be concerned of unchecked immigration or lack of integration visible in gang- and minority violence etc. is definitely a fascist and nothing else and a man from the dirtiest bowels of existence. "fascist, fascist!!!" we shout at anyone who disagrees with us or -god forbid it- says something pro-national or patriotical in a time where the sentiment "one world one humanity" rules supreme.

Fascism is shrouded in confusion; misunderstood and mislabeled. Many, when they think or hear of Fascism, they only see Hitler and the Swastika and the horrors of genocide told in our history books. The Story of Fascism is the story of WW2; the end...or is it? In truth, there is much more to be told of this historical era which continues to inspire individuals for social and political action and it is with this guide that I hope to clear some misconceptions and confusion around the word and its meaning; and to teach the reality of Fascism for the sake of the victory of Truth.

The Term:
First and foremost we must clarify the name "Fascism" itself. What is "Fascism"? To those who have not yet studied Fascism or those who are non-fascists it can mean anything and nothing. It is a useful label to denominate anything and anyone a person finds negative or annoying. Fascism regardless is a real thing. So let's dissect this.

There are two separations.

1.Fascism (uppercase F)

An ideology, which when fully considered, is more than just an ideology. A worldview. Fascism first started to surface in the late 1910's as a social-political movement and with Benito Mussolini (the leader of the movement) attaining the Premiership of Italy in 1922 the country of Italy became the first to have a regime centered on and around Fascism. It was the first Fascist State.

2.fascism (lowercase f)

"All National socialists are fascists but not all fascists are national socialists"

-Merther

Of course, ideas spread and people draw and source inspiration. In other countries in Europe and all over the world other movements were created and born in imitation and in honor of the model and example set by the new Italia Fascista, some of which gained power and significant influence but all equally inspired and modeled after Mussolini's Italy and of Fascism the way it was conceived in Italy; based on what Mussolini and his Fascist intellectuals and philosophers had said. But to add on top of similarities shared, these often also had their own differences and unique traits. Cultural adaptation, national adaptation. Different flavors, different preferences. Most often such variations differed (historically) in at least 3 different key aspects:

I] Acceptance or rejection of Racism / Anti-Semitism.
> (Also, Cultural/Spiritual nationalism highlighting national identity and assimilation VS Biological / Ethnonationalism highlighting birtright and blood)
II] Attitude and stances towards Christianity and the Church(es)
III] Attitude and stance towards Germany.

National Socialism (the most well-known derivation) for example, is more racialist oriented and focused when contrasted with Mussolini's "3rd Rome". Fascism in its original Mediterranean context sought the palingenesis of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire was a multiracial, monocultural dominion. No matter where one lived or was born, Romanity could be adopted; wear the toga, partake in Roman rituals and religion, go to the public bathhouses regularly, watch the circus shows and enlist in the Legions to defend the integrity of the Caesar's dominion...and so and so forth.

fascism with lowercase f is the "family of fascist ideologies". They all share unifying core similarities and differ in some ways. National Socialism, National Syndicalism, Metaxism, Rexism, Falangism, Brazilian Integralism etc. to name a few. All of these equal (=) fascism. General fascism. Sometimes a movement did not create its own ideology with a specific name, in such cases, it is also correct to use the lowercase f to denote these movements outside of Italy (presupposing) that their beliefs/doctrines were sufficiently distinct from Fascism as it was seen in Italy. The Fatherland Front of Austria, for example, can be described as having followed a path of "Austro-fascism". While close to Fascism itself in many ways, it differed significantly in how it approached the religious order. Whereas in Italy the Fascists advocated for a more secular State with the Church separated to its own sphere of responsibility, the Fatherland Front was much more heavily influenced by the Catholic Church and as a movement, aligned itself strongly with the Church.

Fascism with capital F is the parent ideology. The Progenitor from which everything else was born. It is Fascism, just Fascism. It does not have nor need any other name or title. We do not call it "Mussolinism". Yes? (Though sometimes you will hear "Classical Fascism" to help distinguish it from others) We now understand that there exists "Fascism" and "fascism". The first is very specific. The second is more vague, denotes a larger collection of different ideologies and movements -often with their own names and identities- linked together in one tradition, and all linked directly towards the first, towards Fascism. They are all as much bonded together as separated apart. When we speak of National Socialism, we speak of National Socialism. When we speak of Fascism, we speak of Fascism. When -however- we speak of BOTH COMBINED. When we speak of something that applies to both..then we speak of fascism. With that lowercase f. We can say the fascists fought against the allied in world war 2, and that means both the Germans and Italians. The National Socialists, and the Fascists of Mussolini. This "general" sense of fascism was itself born out of the fires and flames of WW2, when the allied and the soviets referenced the National Socialist state of Germany and its invaders as "fascists", and later, during the Cold War, the victors's method of designation stuck to popular usage, becoming an (inaccurate) standard of reference.

The method of separation and classification as outlined here, of course, applies in written form. When discussing face to face, or via video (if no text is used), it is much more convenient and better to always make a distinction between Fascism and National Socialism, since, while part of a shared struggle, both are different ideologies; albeit within a mutual sphere.

This Guide especially focuses on Fascism with capital F. The Classical and original. Though it has to be noted that, due the connections within the fascist tradition, many of the aspects underlined in the following sections of this guide can be seen in other variations of fascism, provided, they connect with the same underlying principles and elements. The Fascist idea, articulated by the party, of "economy for national benefit", for instance, would be well-reflected in any National Socialist state or regime. Under this idea, is the shared appreciation for human capital; A preference for national gain, over the glorification of profit and money, over personal enrichment.

Those who follow the path and example set by IIIrd Rome would be classified as "Neo-Fascists". Perhaps, you might one day call yourself that. But you cannot without knowing what you stand behind. So please, read the guide, and enjoy!

Core Philosophy:
"Fascism was not the protector of any one class, but a supreme regulator of the relations between all citizens of a state"

-Benito Mussolini: Quoted in "My Autobiography", New York: NY, Charles Scribner’s Sons (1928) p. 280

No matter what variant of fascism you look at the foundations are all the same; unity and stability above all else. This cliché paradigm of the ‘left vs right wing’ is both narrow-minded and in stark contrast to these very ideals. Putting countrymen at each others’ throats jeopardizes all that a true Fascist holds dear to him, his people, his family, and his Nation. It must be clarified that Fascism is not a reactionary force fixated on persecuting enemies of the State - rather, it is revolutionary in anticipating solutions. To simply enforce decrepit and ineffective laws is reminiscent of conservatism and thus adaptation through observation and reform is the key to tomorrow. Therefore the Orwellian interpretation of Fascism as being a brute police state obsessed with curfews is null and void.

But of course, one form of thought cannot be classified under the signature of fascism just merely because it values order and stability. If that was the case, Soviet Socialism would be fascism too; What a laugh and an absurd idea!.

With that fact in mind what else is there to unite the fascists of various colors, shapes and sizes?

a small sample, we can -for example- consider the questions:

-Opposition to Marxism and Liberalism?
-Opposition to Materialism?
>Appreciation of the spiritual and intangible? "Duty, Honor, Courage"?
-Nationalism (not simply patriotism) and a sense of brotherhood?
>Anti-Internationalism?
-Collective values?
>Anti-individualism?
-an Authoritarian or Totalitarian government? An enlightened & competent leader/leadership? >Merit/skill-based promotion?
-An Economic system balancing between private-focused and public-focused?
>Promotion of the "3rd position"? [A cross-layer principle of the future beyond left or right cutting through the factors of organized life]
-Radicalism?

The State:
”All within the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.”

-Benito Mussolini: Speech to Chamber of Deputies (9 December 1928)

"Against individualism, the Fascist conception is for the State; and it is for the individual in so far as he coincides with the State . . . . It is opposed to classical Liberalism . . . . Liberalism denied the State in the interests of the particular individual; Fascism reaffirms the State as the true reality of the individual."

-Benito Mussolini: quoted in "The Doctrine of Fascism" Firenze: Vallecchi Editore (1935 version), p. 13

At the very center of everything is the State. Through a libertarian lens, the State is the oppressor of the individual. Through the Fascist perspective, the State and the individual are inseparable - they are one and the same. The individual inherits the State at birth and evolves mentally, physically, and emotionally within the many institutions and programs it provides. In order for the nation to thrive the individual must be encouraged to pursue his/her passions for a job best befitting him/her and ultimately the State. The Fascist State is not to be disregarded as merely a watchman policing the streets and keeping order - it is a synthesis between the nationstate, its culture, its history, its spirituality, and its people. The State is not a material force promising to solve all of Man’s woes and sorrows - no! It is an entity within the metaphysical realm that binds generations to generations and makes itself felt through every soul within its sphere.

What of Democracy then? The Fascist State is hardly considered a "Democratic State". However, one must account for the definitions and perceptions of concepts. If, with Democracy, you think of that of the mob rule; the cacophony of the masses, then Fascism certainly is not democratic, for we entrust the counsellorship of the nation & State to a selected worthy elite rising above their own private interests and with a strong character included in which is no least talent in statesmanship and in leadership, ability in judgment and in reasoning, a mind capable of clear insight and of seeing a bigger picture, able to make compromises and protecting stability among groups of interest etc.

Yet, if with Democracy we go beyond the surface and instead consider Democracy in a deeper sense of "shared responsibility", more akin to a state of things where the people have a more active and direct relationship with the State by actively participating the development and life of the State as a res publica (public matter) and mutually contributing to the future of the nation under the guidance of their revered and respected leaders, then Fascism, as paradoxical as that may sound to someone not so well educated in the subject, is a closer representation of Democracy than anything we have today where the people desire and hope, placing their hopes in career politicians who bicker for bread -rather than in real leaders- and who then "represent" the people's wishes. Fascism however, by deeply committing and investing the individuals of the people collective of the civic society into the State, in turn, evolves and elevates the life of the State to a status of dynamic relationship affected actively by the actions and efforts of the individuals and agents of motion part of this all-encompassing entity. Fascism achieves what Democracy desires, but cannot fulfill in itself.

The main argument against the Fascist State is its use of violence and suppression of ‘freedom of speech.’ It is unanimously believed that tolerance and freedom of expression are the ‘pillars’ of a civilized nation - that dissent and discontent somehow define acceptable normality. Fascism rejects such preposterous notions and enforces its doctrine, culture, laws, and customs throughout the Nation. Similar to O’Sullivan’s Law Fascism believes in action and intolerance in order to instill and uphold the moral and spiritual values of the people. Fascism is absolute; it is not interested in perpetual bickering and debate over elements harmful to Man. The elements of consumerism, materialism, hedonism, political opposition, and other issues present in their respective countries must be adamantly judged and dealt with.

"If a nation is to survive and create the vehicle for self-realization of the individuals of which it is composed, it is necessary that the state subject all to one common will."

-Giovanni Gentile in "The Rationale of Totalitarianism"

Eternal Struggle:
"Above all, Fascism, in so far as it considers and observes the future and the development of humanity quite apart from political considerations of the moment, believes neither in the possibility nor the utility of perpetual peace. It thus repudiates the doctrine of Pacifism — born of a renunciation of struggle and an act of cowardice in the face of sacrifice. War alone brings up to its highest tension all human energy and puts the stamp of nobility upon the people who have the courage to meet it. All other trials are substitutes, which never really put a man in front of himself in the alternative of life and death."

-Giovanni Gentile (credited to Mussolini): quoted in "The Doctrine of Fascism" (1932) p. 89

In order to understand the fundamentals of Fascist philosophy, one must acknowledge that it views life not as an anomaly nor quest for peace; but a struggle; a righteous and determined struggle. Life is no stranger to being unfair; ruthless; merciless; and harsh - therefore Fascism aims to prepare the individual as soon as possible for the future obstacles and hardships he/she will endure. The Fascist State supports, strengthens and trains its children for war on every level instead of sugarcoating with hedonism and giving them petty assurances.

"The Fascist accepts life and loves it, knowing nothing of and despising suicide; he rather conceives of life as duty and struggle and conquest, life which should be high and full, lived for oneself, but above all for others — those who are at hand and those who are far distant, contemporaries, and those who will come after."

In "The Doctrine of Fascism"

Great rewards are reaped in life by those who prevail every day and every second. Those who survive and even thrive from their deepest wounds earn relief, joy, and satisfaction from their internal/external battles. Every success and victory an individual achieves is felt in his attitude, his household, his neighborhood, his community, and so his State. Like a shockwave the conception of a national struggle is suddenly very alive and real; ripe for activity and action; ready to face anything the globe throws at it.

“The pursuit of happiness is never-ending; happiness lies in the pursuit.”
- Saul Alinksy (Rules For Radicals)

Meritocracy & Elitism:
"Fascism denies that numbers, as such, can direct human society. It denies that numbers can govern by means of periodical consultations: It asserts the unavoidable fruitful and beneficent inequality of men who cannot be leveled by any such mechanical and extrinsic device as universal suffrage."

-Benito Mussolini "The Doctrine of Fascism", June 1932. (p. 107)

"Democracy vests sovereignty in the people, that is to say, in the mass of human beings.[....]Fascism insists that the government be entrusted to men capable of rising above their own private interests and of realizing the aspirations of the social collectivity, considered in its unity and in its relation to the past and future. [....]it also proclaims that the great mass of citizens is not a suitable advocate of social interests for the reason that the capacity to ignore individual private interests in favor of the higher demands of society and of history is a very rare gift and the privilege of the chosen few [...] It is therefore as wise [...] as it is judicious to entrust the normal control of the commonwealth to a selected élite."

-Signor Alfredo Rocco, Minister of Justice of Fascist Italy. (The Political Doctrine of Fascism)

Fascism respects and adheres to hierarchy by which meritocracy permits those deserving of high positions and ranks. Plutocracy and cronyism are thereby banished in place of those whom have proved themselves worthy. Fascism recognizes the hierarchical nature of even the insect world and animal kingdom - humans are no different. It is a fact that people excel in some fields while lacking in others, thus giving everyone their various traits and skills. Fascism rewards those who utilize their craftsmanship and hone themselves.

It is in this topic that we understand the essence of discipline and obedience in a Fascist society fervent in authority and order. When speaking of discipline and obedience today, one may instantly come to the conclusion of degradation and submission, but this simply is not true. The Fascist maintains his dignity and confidence when dealing with authority; he is not obnoxious nor careless; neither does he let himself be a subdued soul devoid of uniqueness and emotion - no, he is humble and respectful, nothing more, nothing less. The State is not interested in being amused by jesters - it wants soldiers, leaders, teachers, scientists, elements contributing towards the process of building a strong national future. A Fascist society is neat, it is uniform and orderly. Respect must be earned on an intimate level and shown in the hierarchical structure of the social pyramid. A janitor isn’t to be scolded for having less of a job than a judge or officer. All the various professions and jobs coordinate themselves into a national effort when looking at statistics, advancements, and triumphs.

If the people do not have at the very least discipline then they will in turn not possess even a modicum of respect and decency for their elders, parents, and so the world around them.

Intellectualism:
"This is the epitaph I want on my tomb: Here lies one of the most intelligent animals who ever appeared on the face of the Earth."

-Mussolini remark to Galeazzo Ciano (December 19, 1937) quoted in: "The Book of Italian Wisdom" (2003) by Antonio Santi, p. 50

Coincidentally, or so you would believe, Fascism is anti-intellectual. Now, it must be understood that Fascism is not an enemy of debate in general and deep philosophical thinking. On the contrary, as any Historian can testify Fascist Italy actively supported the arts & sciences. For example, The Italian Royal Academy established by Mussolini > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Academy_of_Italy

Rather, a more accurate description of this statement as opposed to the Doctrinal layout is ‘anti-skepticism’ - these almost utopian dreamers. The skeptic is libertarian, indecisive, he is a man who questions anything and everything for the sake of questioning. In the 21st century such men are abundant yet so miserable and paranoid. These men are the conscious objectors of action and reality and instead toil with fantasy and unrealistic scenarios of ‘peace and harmony’ while watching the outside world from their windows.

Silence is the only answer you should give to the fools. Where ignorance speaks, intelligence should not give advices.

-B.Mussolini. The Lazio Speeches (1936), as quoted in The Book of Italian Wisdom by Antonio Santi, Citadel Press, (2003) p. 87.

Race:
“I must acknowledge that I do not believe in eternal peace. . . . In this world there are some fundamental facts called race, progress, development, rise and decline of peoples; facts all leading to conflicts which often cannot be resolved in any other way than through armed force."

-Benito Mussolini speech 6.2.1922: quoted in "The Philosophy of Fascism" by Mr. Mario Palmieri (Chapter V: Fascist Ethics)

"National pride has no need of the delirium of race. Anti-Semitism does not exist in Italy… Whenever things go awry in Germany, the Jews are blamed for it."

-Benito Mussolini: quoted in "Talks with Mussolini", Emil Ludwig, Boston, MA, Little, Brown and Company (1933) pp. 70-71. Mussolini’s interview was in 1932.

"(About Italy) Not a race, nor a geographically defined region, but a people, historically self-perpetuating itself; a multitude unified by an idea and imbued with the will to live, the will to power, self-consciousness, personality."

-Benito Mussolini in "Doctrine of Fascism".

Fascism does not indulge itself in racial theories of supremacy and inferiority, rather, it merely recognizes and acknowledges the fact of racial diversity as symptomatic and characteristic of mankind's evolution and adaption into different locales and environments. Fascism seeks to protect national identity founded and focused primarily on strong and metatemporal spiritual elements defining the idea of the nation and uphold the integrity and safety of the nation in all its forms and to ensure its highest unity. For the Fascist, the State of the Fascist banner is our superior race, for the Fascist, the people of the nation are unified as citizens and state-subjects wholesome in their history, tradition and sense of sociopolitical mission; imbued by the will to live in a life of struggle and colored by personality. Fascism's stance on immigration is that of assimilation: a migrant who grows to become one with the native people; one who internalizes and embraces a new identity and way of being in harmony with the generations of past and future is well-deserving of the guidance and protection of the State. Immigrants are carefully screened from those capable of true integration and those with the spirit and character to respect law and order, and from those who would only work to advance the factionalization and separatism of the people-bodies of the nation. Immigrants are not be live separately in their own "communities" and neighborhoods undermining the wholesome structure of social belonging, they are to live amidst others as part of others powered by motivations and desires to serve the Fascist mission and the needs of the State. Indeed, it takes a certain kind of character to be ready to adopt new and leave the old in the past. Those who do, certainly then, love where they are going to. And this love of theirs towards their new and exotic homelands can be returned in exchange and shown to them; helping them become stronger and better as naturalized nationals. Peoples have migrated across the globe since the dawn of time for a variety of reasons and motivations; there is nothing inherently or innately wrong, bad or unnatural about immigration, emigration, migration. What matters is to protect internal harmony and distinction of nations for the betterment of all and to control immigration to ensure we can properly integrate those who come to join the fight for the common game of new tomorrow. As history will show, before the rise of unified states or strong kingdoms which could better control the influx of different peoples, large-scale migrations or movements of one ethnicity or tribe to the lands of others often could result in conflict and bloodshed and the dissipation of peace.

The words said thus far must not be mistaken as "Civic Nationalism" which perverts and downgrades nationality to a document or a license. In civic nationalism, merely citizenship-status defines nationality attained through "language proficiency" and "support of democracy"etc. but Fascism demands to go deeper and further to ensure and to be confident that those called "nationals" truly act and behave as such and have internalized without compromise what it means and entails. It is one thing to know how to speak the native tongue demanded by civic nationalism and a whole other matter to actually use that tongue actively in public and private discourse in order to be one with the nation. All of this is factually more inclusive and less restrictive than nationality on blood and race alone, but at the same time, it is not as lax or careless as civic nationalism; in effect a middle-point between two sides. Fascism is not a "melting pot", Fascism is humility and respect for a dominant culture and way of life which defines a particular nation, and through this humility we maintain the delicate beauty of the world as a whole. What would our life be, if everything everywhere was the same? An unrecognizable gray goo devoid of flavor or taste. Fascism is wholly opposed to civic nationalism which promotes and propagates diversity within nations, a dangerous and harmful element of the wrong kind of "diversity". When we hear critique of multiculturalism in the western world, It is civic nationalism which exactly has led to the growing Islamization of traditional Christian western states in Europe and led to internal strife and turmoil, division and hatred, concern and fear from the natives who do not wish to see something they have rightfully held sacred and solemn for generations vanish away to be left with something to which they have zero connection.

All in all, The Fascist immigration principles and policies are not designed nor intended from the datum and basis of keeping as many migrants or foreigners out as possible, from xenophobia or anything similar, but rather, from the baseline approach of ensuring that everyone and anyone who comes to live and work is compatible and will not be problematic to the social community nor to its ideals. The Nation must be treasured, held in gentle hands, love and cared for; for the ultimate benefit and good of all. Illegal immigration especially is unacceptable. Mass immigration very dangerous; undermining any real desire or intent for integration.

Regarding the Semitic question, Fascism does not wish to persecute the Jews or to consider them as villains of the world. If one would like to remark about the 1938 anti-semitic laws the Kingdom of Italy introduced then it should be pointed out that this was a purely political move to maintain ties with Germany. Even then, Mussolini refused to hand Italian Jews over to the SS. During World War Two Italy was a relative safe haven for Jews, with thousands fleeing from Germany/Occupied Zones to Italy.

“Despite its alliance with Germany, the Fascist regime responded equivocally to German demands first to concentrate and then to deport Jews residing in Italian occupation zones in Yugoslavia, Greece, and France to killing centers in the German-occupied Poland. Italian military authorities generally refused to participate in mass murder of Jews or to permit deportations from Italy or Italian-occupied territory; and the Fascist leadership was both unable and unwilling to force the issue.”

-Holocaust Encyclopedia

Spirituality:
"The Fascist State has never tried to create its own God, as at one moment Robespierre and the wildest extremists of the Convention tried to do; nor does it vainly seek to obliterate religion from the hearts of men as does Bolshevism: Fascism respects the God of the ascetics, of the saints, of the heroes, and also God as seen and prayed to by the simple and primitive heart of the people."

Benito Mussolini quoted in :"The Doctrine of Fascism" (June 1932).

Fascism does not ridicule the faithfull, Fascism does not ridicule the divine. In anti-Fascist propaganda one can hear on occasion the claim that Fascism is "ungodly". How is Fascism ungodly? I ask you. A Fascist is willing to sacrifice himself, therefore he believes in something higher than his mortal life. Yes? A Fascist believes in purpose and in duty, in a cause of motivation over the lure of gold and trinkets. The Fascist lives his life in the spiritual aura of his Nation the very least, and God if one's heart has been opened. For a Fascist to be devoid of a spiritual outlook on life is to be ignorant of the sheer complexity of life, space, time, and the cosmos and beyond. The Fascist is moral, humble, respectful, caring, courageous, and deeply spiritual - his politics and his spirituality are intertwined. He may wish to be secular on a personal level, but all else requires belief; belief in God; in righteousness; in family; in sacrifice; in struggle; and most importantly, in himself. He must not lose faith in mankind and his destiny. A Fascist may -in his choosing- reject gods of the old books but spirituality can never escape him; Fascism itself is faith and belief; high-oriented action for inner nobility radiating externally.

Fascist States have commonly followed secularism in governance, that is, control of the State is not dictated by the Church; The Church and State are separated in duties. Even so, churches and religion (Christianity) have had their respected places and roles to fulfill and -for example- the treaty between the Vatican and Italy (The Lateran Treaty) goes to show the Fascist acknowledgement and support of God's house. From the perspective of the Fascist, The Church is (at its) best when handling and governing over souls and salvation; representing the heavens and in doing so connecting the people to the great beyond of their perennial belief. The State concerns itself with the people's lives here and now...governs over the fate of the nation here on Earth, connects people to their roots of origin from dust to dust. While from a moral standpoint it would/could seem positive to some to have clergy hold State power through control of the judiciary, the parliament/congress etc. it can be counter-argued that the State has the better ability and people with better expertise to draft national legislation in the appropriate legislative bodies AND structure the aforementioned judiciary -which is enforcing established codes of law- in a way better equipped to solve legal problems & crime in which the Church's answers & routes of option would be limited by their scripture and theological frame(s), and they would be at a weaker position to recognize the broad picture and all the detailed factors which affect, and to give an appropriate response. In a way, matters of religion are simple, matters of law less so. Earthly relations are complex, divine relations unified in God's grace.

When considering fascism at a wide angle across the globe and in times gone by, theocratic (or "clerical") non-secular forms of fascism are not beyond possibility; depending on national and historical peculiarities accounted for. Religions practiced can also vary.

Economy:
"[..]The object of the regime in the economic field is to ensure higher social justice for the whole of the Italian people… What does social justice mean? It means work guaranteed, fair wages, decent homes, it means the possibility of continuous evolution and improvement."

-Benito Mussolini: quoted in "Four Speeches on the Corporate State", Rome , (1935) pp. 39-40. Speech delivered to the workers in Milan. Eric Jabbari, Pierre Laroque and the Welfare State in Postwar France, Oxford University Press, (2012) p. 46

"Fascism recognizes the real needs which gave rise to socialism and trade unionism, giving them due weight in the guild or corporative system in which divergent interests are coordinated and harmonized in the unity of the State."

Benito Mussolini: quoted in “The Doctrine of Fascism” (1935 version), Firenze: Vallecchi Editore, p. 15

"It is no longer economy aiming at individual profit, but economy concerned with collective interest".

Benito Mussolini: quoted in "Four Speeches on the Corporate State", Laboremus, Roma, 1935, p. 38

The economic policies of the Fascist State are centered around three principles:

I] Welfare: The welfare of men, women, and children is essential in the Fascist State; for this essentiality, Fascism is sceptical and suspicious of trusting the wellbeing of its citizens falling into the hands of mischievous insurance companies and private medical facilities, social security is a matter of the State for the subjects and citizens of the State. If the people are denied basic rights such as healthcare and education then the current State is a failure in all retrospects and in reflection of its sacred duties and responsibilities. All who contribute to the common good will receive their share. The wellbeing of the very veterans it sent off to war will be taken care of; sacrifices made respected and compensated for with a handshake of "Thank you". The very workers that prop up industry and fuel the economy will be ensured vacations and safety so they may continue to do their important work free of fear of burnout or loss of limb. The very teachers that educate and enlighten the youth will be paid handsomely, as the pursuit of sophistication and knowledge , looked down upon by the Hedonistic party-cultures of modern life, will be re-elevated to the noblest of human passions by the active principles of that guide the Fascist State.

In the quest to promote welfare The State must nurture and care for its (own) people first and foremost negating humanitarian aid if necessary. This is only natural and right, as is symbolically any family of men and women taking care of the house and their family first, so that the house is clean, tidy and orderly and the family strong and healthy before going out to improve the rest of the world and any other family. If your own context is weak and faulty, fix it before you try to make others better, lest you only make things worse or appear unwantedly hypocritical and self-righteous. Do not complain to your friend that their room is messy, if your own is just the same! Be ethical, be reasonable. Only the States and societies that work and function smoothly, that are stable and strong, have any justification or actual capability to offer a hand of value and meaning to those struggling. The Strong motivate and carry the weak, but if you are weak yourself, you have nothing to give to the other weak.

II] Autarky: Autarky is the vision of a self-sufficient state that can survive and continue its activities (economic, military etc.) without external help, support or trade with other countries and entities; domestic production procures for needs and necessities. Self-sufficiency is a form national defense, and as such, a form of duty to protect the nation and those who compose it. Trade embargoes, sanctions; these are the modern weapons of war and warfare! And against them, A state that is free of the fear of outside pressure and international economic influence can concentrate its resources and wealth towards its own improvement and prosperity. Wealth is not lost to foreign countries or interest-groups, national capital is reserved for national and pure designs. In the corrupt international political circles, a re-emerging fascist state (should it occur) would surely brew up international controversy and the possibility of trade embargoes and sanctions in direct response and reaction. The Pursuit of Autarky as such, would be a logical step to ensure immunity from anti-Fascist agenda. The policy of Autarky will encourage and protect domestic companies and industries from foreign competition and outsourcing. The specific economic policies will be set depending on the nation’s predicament and unique qualities. Care must be given in consideration, resources are spread unevenly around the globe and for the benefit of the nation, those who can not afford the levels of production needed to satisfy internal needs due to lack of resources necessary, will do only wisely to engage in well-crafted trade deals and plans for essentials to fuel the fires of industry. No-one says the The Road to autarky is easy, but this should not be taken to say it is not achievable.

There also exists the ethical consideration (On this one, also read the article "The Globalist Machine"). Autarky provides employment for people of your own nation, and when it is not outsourced to low-regulation 3rd world countries, the consumer respectively will be able to use his money on goods and services which he knows have been offered by a cared-for production team of workers and labourers.

III] Morality: The private sector naturally priorities capital and profit above all. A company -unless prevented by moral principles of law- will outsource jobs to foreign cheap labor and advertise whatever appeals to the masses as it so conveniences them. More specifically in this process does consumerism sprout and infect society; corroding its very foundation. As a consequence, the lower and middle classes feel uncomfortable with themselves when faced with ‘hip’ or generally popular brands of clothes, shoes, etc. How can the youth master themselves in all aspects when they’re too busy trying to ‘fit’ in? How can they pursue their dreams and learn when they have insecurities of their appearance and thus self-esteem? Modern Man unintentionally sets the youth backwards and gives them unequal due respect and brotherhood of one-another.

It is a common misconception that Fascism is therefore Socialist due to its staunch opposition of Capitalism - this simply isn’t true. The efficiency as well as competition capitalism brings is utilized for the betterment of the nation rather than monetary goals. In saying this, socialism itself is heavily prevalent in the Fascist State in terms of altruism and the nationalization of vital industries. Generally, Fascist economics fall in the categories of Corporatism, State Capitalism, and even Syndicalism. These follow the practical execution of the general political principle of the 3rd position; a path neither fully left nor right, as elements from both are welded in synthesis. The workers are the blood vessels of the nation and hold a significant place in every variation of Fascism.

"It was therefore not sufficient to create—as some have said superficially—an anti-altar to the altar of socialism. It was necessary to imagine a wholly new political conception, adequate to the living reality of the twentieth century, overcoming at the same time the ideological worship of liberalism [the right], the limited horizons of various spent and exhausted democracies, and finally the violently Utopian spirit of Bolshevism. [the left]"

-My Autobiography, New York, C. Scribner's Sons, 1928. Reprinted in Benito Mussolini, My Rise And Fall, Volumes 1-2 Da Capo Press, 1998 (p. 68-9)

Fascist Corporatism is not rule or direction by private corporations and big business; this is corporatocracy by difference. Corporatism is both an economic and a social principle, in Fascist economics it translates to method of functioning without harming output by the form of guilds centered around different fields of economic activity (metallurgy, agriculture, services, communications, textile-industries etc.) and in the Fascist social life it is equated with cooperation between the social classes and upper- and lower elements of the social strata. The bureaucratic nature of the corporative councils consisting of employers and employees alike -uniting different levels the societal classes- will serve as the basis for complaints and wage-related issues. Although working conditions will be as hygienic and safe as possible - worker strikes and unions are banned and replaced by the corporative model in order for the economy to adhere and sustain itself.

" [...] disdain towards conscious sabotage: whereas in the modern world the employees use strikes as a merciless weapon to ensure everything they want is fulfilled the Fascist state looks down upon revolts of such nature. Truly the best course of action is of moderated discourse back-and-forth within the institutionalized labor organizations (Corporations) for it makes all perspectives clear and easier to understand, not blinded by the mass-enhanced "mob-mentality" of the worker-strikes in where vision is often tunneled to perceived injustices only. Ultimately the method favorer translates further to more optimized decisions in the field of labour-economy.
