asking WA members to vote against the resolution, citing 'fatal flaws' and promising "to fix these problems, and offer a much better proposal in its place."Votes have now turned against the resolution.

I can't believe I'm having to respond to this, on the Communist Bloc of all places, maybe its the popular front approach. [1] The idea that if the working class just unite with nicer capitalist reactionaries/the bourgeoisie to defeat the reactionary right, is as good as useless, this should be elementary for the socialist left and communists, for the independence of the working class. Yes, there is a need for unity, but unity with the working class, a 'unity of purpose', [2]arguments for a single chamber and real democratic republic in the US (abolish the presidency and the Senate). I've argued for this on the general forum, not exactly receptive, but a couple were, this place should be far more receptive towards political liberty and democracy.

The problem with the US is that their are no real political parties as they operate in the rest of the world, because they have no membership structure. The Democratic Socialists of America must fight for this.

Elections should be a metric of political beliefs ... not a system of harm reduction. That said, what you are saying here sounds like liberal bourgeois apologia. No socialist policy will ever come from Biden or anyone else in the U.S. government so long as it remains the premier imperialist power in the world, and Biden won't change that.
