Has your country, lore-wise, ever been in a civil war/revolution. If so why:

I'll start:
My country has gone through two civil wars, the first one was in the mid 1600's where we overthrew the, then, King Jerzy IV and established the Federal Republic of Dvaorla, now known as the First Federal Republic of Dvaorla, it was taken back by royalists only nine years later.
The second one was in the early 1900's where a communist government was forcefully kicked out and then established the Second Federal Republic of Dvaorla, which is us today.
