In the table, the 4th guard places his cards, revealing greater ranks, and constantly winning the game, he makes a small, but radio-ish "Woo!", making the 4 other groan. The 1st stands up, talking in a radio-ish Spanish accent.

IC: "Indeed," Nika says, inclining her head towards the Empress. "I was captaining the Cohort at the time that Marianne attacked Port Quixote. I was the one that tracked down the Maruyo, we intercepted them on their way to Nonscio, and sank them. I don't quite see how any of the crewmembers would be alive, we checked quite thoroughly for life boats." A grin comes over her face. "I do believe we picked up a few survivors, but they didn't exactly retain that status for much longer." Nika sips at her wine, looking back towards the dancers.

As the Captain finishes speaking, Tanya turns back towards Ishtar. "Ah, really? I was under the impression that the Festival would be taking place today. This is quite the pleasant surprise. Do you-" before Tanya can finish her thought, Evelein reveals her gun and Tanya freezes, the Tribunal Guardsmen throughout the room watching carefully. As the situation deescalates, Tanya calms back down and shakes her head at Ishtar, a wry grin on her face. "Definitely. I'd say that 'Odd Bunch' is putting it lightly."

The Kaiser walks a short distamce off, with a guard following him. The other guard takes a step to the side, standing where the Kaiser stood.
