Back when the streets of Zanger were being built/being upgraded for new colonists in 1967, a no-name immigrant came into town. Since he had no name, he was given the nickname "Father Nature" for how he could speak so flawlessly to any animal he came across. His first experience with the people of the Zanger area was when he managed to tame a Woxo before it attacked one of the colonists pets. The Woxo that would later be known as "Tamed Deception" as it would help deceive people from harming "Father Nature". So he went all over the city healing/helping animals wherever they where. "Father Nature" even got into healing plants after saving a Ginga fruit tree from invasive termites and healing it with his heart. It is said that the reason Zanger is so healthy and happy today is because of "Father Natures" work. But, he sadly couldn't keep it going forever, as he died of grief over Grate-lands Sewage "accidentally" throwing sewage on his home prairie outside of Zanger in early 1982.

Weirdest part is, we don't know if it's based off a real person or is a legend based on many peoples actions. It could be something made from the days of the Liberal Revolution of the 90's."

Do you-" before Tanya can finish her thought, Evelein reveals her gun and Tanya freezes, the Tribunal Guardsmen throughout the room watching carefully. As the situation deescalates, Tanya calms back down and shakes her head at Ishtar, a wry grin on her face. "Definitely. I'd say that 'Odd Bunch' is putting it lightly."

Ishtar takes another sip of her champagne, watching the guests merge back into the crowd. With an amused smile she settles back, fingering a lock of her dark grey hair with a gloved finger. "Yes. You should have seen their behavior during the war, it was hilariously erratic. It looks like it's going to be just as tough now that they're under our rule."

She takes a long sigh, then asks; "So, how do you view the world right now? Are you satisfied with the state of things?"

Tanya finishes her champagne, setting the glass down and running her finger along the rim. Pausing to think, she briefly nodded in Nika’s direction as the Captain requested permission to leave. As the Captain walked towards the mingling crowd, Tanya turned back to Ishtar. “Overall? I suppose. There is enough conflict to keep Columbia’s soldiers sharp, yet not enough to truly pose any threat. Columbia’s military remains as the single most powerful military of a single nation, and now with the removal of Marianne, we have a strategic ally in Charity. Our territorial reach is at the greatest extent since the time of the First Columbian Empire. Overall, I’d say that Columbia has never been in a stronger position.” Instinctively, Tanya raised her empty glass to her lips before setting it back down, her face disgruntled. “At the same time, it could always be better I suppose. I’m still in the process of wiping out the last of those damned insurgents. I don’t think I’ll ever quite understand why some people refuse to accept the military government. There’s also the matter of those few rogue nations and... unstable leaders.” At that, Tanya gives a pointed glance in the direction of President Evelein. “It’s an ancient saying in my people that excellence is forever the goal and never the destination. I’m not quite sure I fully understand it, I’m just a simple soldier after all, but I’d say it applies to this situation.” Tanya gives a small chuckle. “Probably.”

Across the screen, yellow text with subtle shadows appears reading “Broadcast from Greater Felter. Please pay Attention”. After showing the text for about thirty seconds, the screen flickers to a ocean with magnificent clouds and subtle waves crashing opon a small island with a monument that resembles a obilisk surrounded by concrete buildings. On top of the obilisk like structure, a flag divided in three showing the flags of Plazland, Shavara and Shinnokawa are each on one third of the flag. Aswell in the three Concrete Buildings, one of the nation’s flags are flown. The video cuts to the center of the complex, revealing the middle between the three structures and a small grass area with the bottom of the obilisk in the centre. Within this small area, around 230 people with Oriental, Slavic and Hispanic descent are all packed together. The broadcast has no sound, but by the image alone it seems they are not happy one bit. The screen then goes back to the ocean view of the island, and after about thirty seconds, a blinding light falls across the land, then revealing that the island is now covered by a purple-tinted small mushroom cloud. After only five seconds the original programming resumes, and one oddly large wave crashes opon the shores of Areseos, just triple the size of a normal wave. |
