Nah. They don’t have any good resources there. All the buildings are pretty dilapidated. Would probably just be more of an effort to help that place than what I would get back.

We need a legitimate Valsoran switzerland. Where we can have leaders and stuff run off to if the did bad stuff or they get chased out of their country.

Basically, when I first started NS, I wanted to make my nation Cascadia. As in, the Pacific Northwest bio-region / independence movement. Unfortunately, that was taken. So I started looking for other, similar nations, and eventually settled on New-Cascade. I didn’t like that name, so I eventually switched to Nova-Columbia. Initially my worldbuilding was heavily inspired by America, with a slight Slavic influence. As time went on, the American influence was slowly lost, to the point that the name didn’t really make sense anymore, with Columbia being a patriotic name for America.

I had Krionik from my time in the Industrial RP. I liked the name, it seemed more Slavic, and I was already wanting to do some major retcons to my lore, ie removing the position of Primarch, adding more states, etc. I figured, why not change my name while I’m at it.

(I’m still keeping the Nova account alive, obviously.)

Yeah, I should do some writing in the lore tab about the ruins.

Basically, my concepts of the 3 ruins are this. Sanada tore itself apart with infighting, and is still currently lead by Lala, with the rest of the tribes forming the Badlands. Volstokn had a succession crisis, and is currently lead by a regency council. Fraxhemark has an independence referendum for most of the states, and is currently lead by Interim President Zara Hussein.

Of these, only Sanada would really be considered “ruins.” The rest are more of rump states. These aren’t definitely the explanations, but I think each of them suit the characteristics of the former nations fairly well.
