Hol' up, you said you had dragon cultists too.

I said Divine Dragon cults.
Mila and Duma are the last Divine Dragons in existence.

So saying 'Divine Dragon cults' is a way of grouping the two cults together.

Moss spreads the wood pulp out, rather thickly, to dry in the sun. Then he starts chewing up another tree. It'll take a fair bit of bootleg plywood to rebuild these people's church.

Also will take several dozen builders that aren't currently there.

Also why is he still there when there is currently no one in the area.

He damaged their church and he's going to put it back together, mouth splinters be damned.

. . . sorry I asked. -But! Percy clears her throat and stands up straighter on Apple's shoulder. Nature works fast. I mean, look at this! She stretches out one of her wings for Sara to inspect; it's bent at awkward angles, like a few bones didn't heal straight, and covered with the marks of old rips and punctures. In some cases, the holes still remain -- not as open wounds, no, but as missing flesh that Percy's body had been unable to replace. She's more scar tissue than dragon. You can tell I got beat, yeah, but all the skin's grown back and it hardly hurts anymore. I can even fly short distances! Nature does the regeneration thing quicker than people think. Those forests will bounce back in no time, they just might . . . well they might look kinda ugly. But they'll be there! That's what matters!

Granite leans forward to nuzzle the (much) smaller dragon and give her a bit of telepathic reassurance, then turns his attention back to Sara. She's right, you know. My family's Tree was targeted in our . . . semi-recent civil war; it did not burn, of course, but the forest around it did. New life erupts from such ashes so quickly! Why, the animals are already returning. The air is starting to smell of greenery like it did before.

"We hope so!" Sara says with a positive tone "And just to be clear, we are growing the trees where the old ones stood. After all, we don't want to move somebody's home somewhere else." She laughs

As they get farther and farther away from Irene, they eventually arrive at a checkpoint. Behind that, is completely untouched woods, spared from the ravages of the fires.

"20 or so miles away from this is New Cortheas. It's so connected with the natural world that even the raiders who had taken up residence didn't want to risk setting anything alight, for their own health. It made retaking the city rather easy, considering artillery wasn't being used."

As the transports pass, the guests can see Nymphs and other woodland beings enjoying themselves. A tunnel opens up in a small glade, and a dragon flies out, discussing Imperial politics with a Gnoll of all things. Imperial patrols are even more common here, but laxer, helping with groceries or dealing with the occasional dispute. But what is more noticeable is that when a guest blinks, those not human or kinfolk disappear from view, reappearing after another look. New Cortheas's Administrative Spire can be seen from here, with greenery being visible from the distance.

"Welcome to Imperial Territory." Sara says in greeting and invitation.

The ones I could think of so far was both the Mathaliin and Mathalnam not getting along well in a Brethren town.

He really didn't damage anything.

And it's reallly only a matter of time until the cultist(s) come back to make sure their job got finished.
