President Hollen gives a speech to congress.

President Hollen gripped his podium, trying to keep himself from smirking as he felt the bitter glares directed at him by the whole of the Humanitarian Party. And naturally, a great fraction of the Commonwealth Party was angry at him too. He had effectively killed the first “bipartisan bill” that had been introduced in a long time.

He, however, couldn’t care less. He had one mission: to destroy the Christian Crusader Clan. He had no intention of passing a useless piece of paper that, aside from continuing the war on the working class, would most likely harm his efforts with its pathetic excuse of legislation against the Clan.

With a heavy breath, he began his speech.

“Easunistan is a Nation of many values, with the most important of them being democracy. We are a people of many differences. Each of our ancestors comes from a different place or group. But rather than let this divide us, we embrace this. Our founders were as diverse as we are now. They were settlers and Natives who looked beyond superficial differences and recognized humanity in one another. And by recognizing humanity, they were able to come together with compassion and respect in their hearts and create the beautiful Nation we live in now. That is what our Nation’s democracy was built from - compassion and respect. And yet, there is an organization in this Nation that would wish to destroy this democracy. A group with an overarching objective of spreading terror and death. The people in this decrepit group care not for our democratic values, and while they claim to be patriots their presence spits on our Constitution and all we stand for. They have no compassion in their hearts, and wish only to spread terror. And now, more than ever, is it important that we bring this group into the spotlight to discuss. This group, a stain on our history which administration after administration has failed to address, has infiltrated every aspect of our society like that of a disease. They have infiltrated our cities, our police forces, even our government…”

Hollen paused, and looked around congress, meeting both the curious and murderous looks he was receiving.

“... And this group is known as the Christian Crusader Clan. Terrorists who take matters into their own hands, torturing and murdering any Neko -along with any human who attempts to help them- and depriving them of their right to a trial. Now, I am perfectly aware that there are many watching who are concerned by my words. Rest assured, I have no intention of letting any of the Nonite races run rampant throughout our lands. This issue is far bigger than them. It is about our democracy. A democracy that, like all others, is only as strong as its constitution. Our constitution, with its laws, that the Clan continues to violate time and time again. How long must the citizens of Easunistan suffer under the influence of these killers? How long must they go being intimidated, harassed, and lynched for merely being suspected of various orientations, views, or disabilities? I promised every Easunian a safe and brighter future, and I will deliver on that promise. Because the biggest threat to our future is not some wandering Neko, or some rioting activist, it is the domestic terrorists slowly chipping away at the very soul of this Nation bit by bit. Ever since my inauguration I’ve been bombarded with questions as to what my administration will focus on. This is your answer, that my administration from this day forth will work tirelessly to expose the crimes of the CCC and its affiliates, that it will fight for stronger legislation that will not tolerate the Clan, and that we will put down this destructive and savage organization once and for all!”
