How do you play?
In Warica, you play on a world map against other nations and you can choose what path to go. However, things should be kept realistic. You can’t have an army of 500 men and the next day have 50k. Also, if your pop. is 100 million, your military is realistically going to be near to 1 to 3 million, not 10 million. Remember, although time is subjective, try to make it decently reasonable for accuracy and fairness yet able to be actually playable. Pretty much, maybe a few days or a little over a week for roads and other basic Infrastructure, and a few months as well. Remember that resources and movement are also subject to this. If something requires a certain resource, you need physical access or trade to get it, while a diplomatic or trade ship from Hormuz, Iran, going to Washington, U.S., would take a few hours or days of roleplay to get there(in Warica), not a single post. Time skips are allowed though, but limited.

Another thing to keep in mind in Warica is that trade and diplomatic meetings are consensual, meaning that the other party has a right to turn down your request for almost any reason they find reasonable, or if they find your requests unreasonable.
In Warica, your Nation is ruled by you, and you can do what you want in the boundaries of realistic gameplay and Fairness. The main aspects you have to control are Economy, Military, Infrastructure, Internal Stability/Politics, and International/Foreign Affairs. You require all of these to make a decently successful nation. You probably already know how does work if you roleplayed before. Do note, however, that food and production are also put under Economy.

Your army is Used to conquer foreign territories and defend territories under your rule from foreign armies, as well as prevent your nation from collapsing due to endless civil war. You build Infrastructure via roleplay, and that can help both your economy as well as transportating troops to the frontlines.
Notes:
1. Your army is hindered in numbers by both your population and how much currency you have to pay them. Use your army wisely.
2. Naval Units are under the same limits as land troops, and must only fight and move on water. They can fire at positions on the coast, but with limited affect and can not take cities themselves. Air craft are also put under similar limitations.
3. What about Fantasy? Fantasy is, unfortunately, not allowed. You have to keep things realistic. However, talking animals is allowed as citizens in some cases. Ask the Cartographer if you want to see if your case is allowed.
How do I stake a claim?
To stake a claim in Warica, you have to send it to the Cartographer, me, via telegram. You have to make an Imgur link for it. There are some rules, however.
1. Don’t make a claim too big or small. I don’t want to see you claim something ludicrous such as all of Siberia or just the Vatican. Make it big enough to see and yet small enough to not be literally take up all the land in the area. Pretty much, don’t make a massive empire out of your first claim and make it impossible for anyone else to get decent land nearby.
2.Don’t make absolutely ugly border gore. I don’t want anyone making a claim with borders they look like something out of the Holy Roman Empire or something like that. Make your claims borders look decent enough as not to make someone vomit just looking at it or feel weird looking at it. So please, no border gore.
3. No border disputes with your first claim. Wait until a second claim.
Natural Expansion
Natural Expansion is allowed every 2 months, but must be heavily roleplayed in the RMB and Fact books. Same rules in Valsora apply here. A differ easily to Valsora though is that here your first expansion can be a month after you first join rather than two months. Also, expansion via war with other nations can happen anytime, and the first expansion can be in one month of joining.
War
As anyone on Valsora or any other roleplay community knows, you fight wars with your military. Military Units can counter others, such as anticavalry weapons can counter cavalry, which counter Standard Infantry(musketmen, Swordsmen,etc.), which counter AntiCavalry(Pikemen, Pike and Shot, etc.). Note that you need to first declare war on your enemies before you fight and require a Casus Beli, or justified reason, to declare war. Also, you require war objectives to do so as well.

Staking a Claim

How do you stake a Claim? First, you need to find a place to claim. Each continent would have a similar culture to the real life Continent. As well as that, each country would have similar resources to the real area. Be careful who you start next to as well. That is very important for a stake. As we said before, no border gore or Vatican City style nations. Your nation can be small, but not microscopic or massive. There is no definitive size, but it is up to the Cartographer if your nation is too large or small.

Now that that is out of the way, we can finally roleplay.
