The Estel Project is a project launched by the planet of Arada Estel to explore the rocks of this inhospitable universe where somehow, life found a way. Maybe it was through alien biology or from the human diaspora of the long-lost homeworld us humans descended from in Sol, but life has managed to build itself strongholds through the vast desolate stretches of space. Life is quite strong, powerful, and unrelenting.
But life is also a fragile thing that for all its ruggedness can just as easily topple over into extinction and death. Not that this is something to be sad about over the grand scheme of things as death is as much a part of life as life itself is. However, to lose the uniqueness and experiences the various forms of life can take is truly tragic. Thus - the Estel Project, is an initiative that aims to send a lone planetary explorer to document whatever life they can find. To find life before it goes extinct, and document it so that it can live on forever. In some way, at least.
These are the worlds we have found.
Arada Estel - An icy, tribal planet home to the Estel Project.
