No, you're not a spammer. A general guideline to avoid being spammy is to refrain from posting more than twice in a row, and to ensure that your posts always contain some sort of useful content.

My Nation wrote:They decided to spam our RMB a little while back, and by the looks of things, they attempted to do so again today.

Eh
Coming from a former spammer, he probably wont stop until quite a few of his puppets are soiled. If he runs out, he'll make more, until he just gets fully banned from NS. Thankfully I got the lighter punishment of not being able to speak for 2 weeks and my main nation being deleted.

Obets wrote:Ok then, why did you call out when I said "unlike the current delegate" as an attack, because that is certainly less than an attack the what Narvatus did

Attack was improper wording on my part, I apologize. When I address with what Narvatus wrote (which is the same line of thinking as what I addressed when I called it an “attack”), I will use a better suited word.

My Nation wrote:No, you're not a spammer. A general guideline to avoid being spammy is to refrain from posting more than twice in a row, and to ensure that your posts always contain some sort of useful content.

The only reason I don’t do this is because I hate waiting for filler posts, and my posts aren’t spam - they’re huge ass text walls.

On an old site I played on, doubleposting was handled by saying “Don’t post more than once and in -certain period of time-“. Which is probably the best way to handle it IMO.

EDIT: Also edits are fine and good but they don’t ping new people :/

Castenor wrote:EDIT: Also edits are fine and good but they don’t ping new people :/

Ah, ninja'd. This is how I prefer to handle potential double- or triple-posts.

Are you a member of the World Assembly and want to have a bunch of endorsements?
Endorse our WA Delegate Narvatus to enter in the regional assembly endorsement program!

Ok, so I’m looking at the citizenship application and one of the questions is asking if you’ve ever been in an another region. What if you are specifically trying to distance yourself from that past and don’t want to mention? Are you allowed to answer “prefer not the answer”?

I would include it but then explain the situation. For example, for some time I was in Despotic Europe because of the HRE roleplay, but later (after I left) I learned that they’re not the type of people that I should be associated with, and so whenever I mention it I’m sure to clarify that it’s not the type of person I am, I just wanted the HRE rp man, and that I’m not affiliated with them in any way

Maybe I’ll just wait until there’s a WA delegate I’m comfortable endorsing and then get WA status.

Btw when do/how often do elections happen?

Well there is an election happening soon. It is Obets against Narvatus in the election for WA delegate. I'm guessing voting will start in a few days or so.

What's up boys, girls, and attack helicopters? It's Valid, dropping in to say Hi.

Valid wrote:What's up boys, girls, and attack helicopters? It's Valid, dropping in to say Hi.

Haha, a real comedian I see we have. 🙄

Denolia wrote:Haha, a real comedian I see we have. 🙄

As an attack helicopter, I find that offensive.

Why aren’t you comfortable endorsing Narvatus? It helps out the region a lot and it’s not like anyone can use it for anything bad.

Elections happen every three months.

My Nation and Tyuleniy

Here is a question for everybody (purely hypothetical I'm asking just because I'm curious)

What happens if the WA delegate does not get reelected? While moving over endorsements sounds easy I've seen it not be so in the past.

Any ideas?

Valid wrote:But seriously how's all my peeps doing today?

Doing Great! It's a really nice day today.

We do a campaign for people to unendorse the outgoing Delegate and endorse the new Delegate. Occasionally, outgoing delegates will resign from the WA to make it easier. Allies sometimes send military help in the transition.

Heaveria, My Nation, and Tyuleniy

All of you should watch A Silent Voice on Netflix. And if you can't access it, get a VPN and change your IP to U.S.

Awesome thank you for the quick answer.

By the way I did want to add that that was not an endorsement for any candidate and I wish all candidates good luck in the upcoming elections!!

Yeah I understand. Just curiosity.

I refuse to entertain this. I came to run a campaign and I will do so. Your justice of the Supreme Court chose to come out and write an entire RMB post. I on the other hand will move on and run my campaign to the best of my ability. So if Castenor wants me to answer its questions or debate questions I will gladly do so.

2. Perhaps that is the case but for elected Minister positions it isn’t just the RPers voting, is it? You could easily make an appointed position by law and appoint only people who were voted in by the RP people. That’s what we do in TEP, and it ensures that only RPers are electing the person in charge of the RP, not people that aren’t involved at all. It allows flexibility. And the idea that certain appointed positions goes against democracy is one I frankly don’t agree with. TEP has a lot less elected executive positions than FNR, and we still have strong accountability and strong democracy.

5. Can confirm that Heav is active in Kaer Solas. Co-Founder and Vice Archmaster.

6. Well sure Ministers shouldn’t do all the work but staffing is rather low at this time, afaik, and the Ministers still have to oversee/manage/organize all of it, and increasing levels of complexity with what they have jurisdiction over is something I don’t reasonably see as an upgrade, especially if, as we agreed, on they aren’t as close in proximity, which demands varying management styles and varying policies/techniques over one lone Ministry. Added on with the new Party’s goals of “reducing the number of ministries”, it just feels like it’s done to satisfy that promise by the Party.

8. Ah okay so I think my only valid point in this regard is “Won’t having the same name for one Ministry as an older completely different one, confuse people?”

10. Honestly this point was rather similar to 6, so at this point it really doesn’t matter :p

11. Exactly. Point six but applied to a different ministry instead of grouping it as one point for some reason. Forgive my brain for being a bit subpar at that time of day.

12. So the only thing that remains here is “Do you have people in mind for these positions?”

13. Okay. So at least one day of unregistered inactivity would result in you asking for resignation? Does that not seem a little extreme? What about LoA? What are your thoughts on Heaveria’s proposed 8-day-vote-of-no-confidence plan or something similar? What happens if Ministers refuse to resign?

14. What I’m taking away from this is that TEP should start recruiting so I have a better understanding of the practice.

16. The angles cut me when I try to think chew.

2. We discussed this, but the idea was rebuked by the electoral commitee that is not willing to do separate elections for only RP folk. We would be for it otherwise. This is the second best option.

6. I don't feel like that, but you're free to voice your opinion on the matter of course. We'll see in due time whether our way proves to be the right one.

8. Yeah, it will a bit. I think we didn't choose exactly a brilliant name, and I might see if we won't change it when announcing the positions themselves.

12. Yes. I'll not name them, however. I can say that I'd like Vostrov to stay as the Community Manager as I believe they do a brilliant job. I could also mention that in the case we win, you will be asked to become one of the advisors, as you were during my tenure as a president.

13. It is extreme, yes; one day, I wouldn't say exactly, more like a day I'll write "hey, what's up? Are you okay? If you cannot be online at this time, please let us know" and with 3 days and more, then more drastic solutions will come up. I'm nothing if not understanding, unexpected things happen to everyone and sometimes you just can't be online, its a game, after all. Whnever it is possible, however, I'd like, to get at least a short message "sorry man, I'll be out for 3 days" so I can say "yeah, not a problem, your deputy will do your job for a while" and some such. This should happen on an individual basis, really, every person is different and acts differently under particular circumstances; VP should be resolving such things on his own discretion.

Concerning LOA, yeah, sure. I don't see a problem as long as I'm told and as long as they aren't very frequent.

Heaveria's plan seems, like all his plans, good to me on the outside, but a bit too rigid. A little too German. I like to take more personal approach with ministers and members of the government - we're all different, anyways.

14. Yes.

16. Ouch.
