The government controls business; all assets of Grindoligarch are controlled by the Grindoligarchian government. We have a booming economy that strives on technological application and efficiency; all resources are first used to improve Grindoligarch or stimulate the local economy, then stockpiled to a certain amount, and then traded. Once more I must ask; why do you ask? I assure you we are a reliable trading partner, and if this is an ideological thing; we only control the businesses to keep competition and corruption from getting in the way of the greater good.

It's not really ideology but it is important information for the economics of grindoligarch and interaction between Heulia and Grindoligarch now I know opening up a store might not be as favorable to a Heulia in grindoligarch.

"Of course, we would be happy to accommodate and visit your nation instead. President Flores will be dispatched shortly.
-Secritary to the President, Todd Goodmen"

President Flores sat in the chartered jet that would take them to the Vapian Colony before he would be taken to the nation of Sartinania. He looked out the window At the sea shimmering by and heard the jet engines whistling as they pulled the aircraft forward. On board the aircraft was also a TCIA agent, Special Agent Richard Witherspoon. He was on the visit to provide security and if needed other tasks. He sat in the corner, not saying a word. In his mind though he was thinking about what this small country had in store for the future. He had a feeling that the small nation would go far, after all, free armies fight better than tyrannical ones. They have more to lose. like during the Tanabonain Civil War.

President Flores was quiet as well, mostly thinking about what would be good topics and how to be as respectful as possible, though of answers to hard questions, and most of all reminded himself to have fun!

In any case though, he was nervous. The country he was headed to hadn't had that much contact with too many nations, and he wanted Tanabon to make a good impression.

After the brief layover and taking to some Vapian soldiers that were mulling around the airport, he began the flight over wilderness to the grand nation of Sartinaynia. He took a sip of his brandy, and then went to take a nap. When he awoke, they had landed in Sartinaynia. He blinked a few times and adjusted his eyes to the light before disembarking from the aircraft to meet either a crowd or reporters or a few individuals. He adjusted his black suit, and stepped out.

Flight Lieutenant Jennifer Larsson was in the process of staring the powerful, 16-cylinder engine in her F-1 as the loud roar of the foreign aircraft descended onto the landing strip, "holy mother of" she shouted to herself as the rather massive aircraft rapidly decelerated to a halt, dangerously close to the end of the landing strip. She quickly got on her radio, "F-LT Jen to ATC, a massive plane just landed, and I don't know what it is or who it belongs to, is it authorized?" she waited for a few moments before the reply came, "F-LT Jen, this is ATC, the landing was authorized, although highly unexpected, if you are still on the ground, please see if they are willing to come out" Jen nodded to herself and grabbed her service rifle from it's stowage, "Affirmative ATC, F-LT Jen out". Shutting down the engine once more, Jen, climbed out of her seat and slung the rifle over her shoulder, "Whoever decided we pilots needed full service rifles really needs to get their stuff together" she thought to herself as she approached the aircraft, half running under in her full flight gear as one of the doors opened, revealing a well dressed man in a black suit, ready to step down in the asphalt.

As the man touched down on the ground, Jen approached him from his left with her rifle over her shoulder and her helmet under her right arm letting her fairly long, blonde hair fly in the wind, "hey!" she shouted, somewhat startling the man, but gaining his attention, "Who in the blazes are you, and what are you doing on my runway?"

The bar was full. It was dark and there were twenty men that filled the bar. The men looked up to Samuel Humphrey, the man who was leading the charge with a speech. He raised a fist. His hair was in a ruffle. "Damn taxes. Damn attacks. Damn British..." he grumbled loudly and clearly.

"These men send men to live in our homes when we are home. They send soldiers to patrol our streets. They gave us the Tea Act which taxed our tea. They gave us the Stamp Act which taxed us for stamps to send mail or even buy pamphlets! The gave us the Steel Act which taxed us for all steel materials that we needed! And did we have a say in any of this? No! They tax us without representation!" The men in the bar started booing.

The bar was wild. Torches flew. "And let's not forget about the brothers we lost in the Compton massacre!" The bar was livid. The men booed and they started slamming their fists on the tables like there was no tomorrow. "Here is the plot, boys," he explained the plan. They would dress up as Native Oseans, storm into Port-au-Prince Harbor and they would do something unthinkable.

Right before they were about to leave, Samuel Humphrey yelled to the men. "It's time for us to become patriyòt yos! And a patriyòt yo is a man of honor!" The men started to cheer as they left the bar and left for Port-au-Prince Harbor.

16 DECEMBER, 1773; PORT-AU-PRINCE HARBOR, HAITI COLONY, AFRO CARIBBEAN COLONIES

22:45 PM
Samuel Humphrey guided his men to the harbor as they hid behind crates and changed into the Native Osean uniform and attire that they received from the tribe that was nearby. He motioned for the siege to being. The men jumped into the rowboats. They started to row out to the HMS Oceans Kiss.

Then, more boats landed up. They rowed all the way to the British Trade Ship, HMS Oceans Kiss and waited for the signal from Samuel Humphrey. He smiled and whispered to the men. "None of the supplies. Just the tea." He whispered to the men. He looked back slightly to see that there were no British soldiers or captains nearby. "GO!" he yelled.

Within seconds, the men threw the boxes of tea in the harbor. The numerous tea boxes were picked up and thrown into the waters of the Port-au-Prince Harbor. The men picked out the boxes from biggest to smallest and threw them in. The water became brown near the area where the tea was being thrown into. The crates of tea dissolved after a while. The British soldiers were rushing to the harbor. Then, a box of ink was thrown into the harbor. Despite the orders, the ink was thrown in. The tea was all gone and the patriots jumped out from the deck of the ship and into the boats.

Making a quick escape to land, they were being chased by soldiers. They took a hard left into the underground hideout of the patriots. The soldiers couldn't see them and the patriots have started the revolution. It was time for a new era for the the colonies.

News of the events that had transpired Port-au-Prince Harbour had rapidly spread across the Krinslo Empire, sparking outrage amongst the people of all social classes in the Krinslo homeland. At first the news of the events had remained fairly local with news being brought to Charles Vertlon who held the position of being the colonial governor, the news had come from the merchants who's investment in tea was upon HMS Oceans Kiss as they demanded to be compensated for their financial loses caused by the dumping of their tea. Governor Vertlon had been furious upon receiving the news, with it rumoured that he said "Damn savages, we offer them the greatness of our empire and they throw it to the fish. They need to learn their place." within the same day of news reaching Vertlon orders had been dispatched to the commander of the Port-au-Prince garrison to implement a curfew on the local residents as well as writing several letters to be sent back to the homeland as permission was required for Vertlon to take furthur action.

One such letter sent read:

My Emperor,
Since my appointment to the honourable position of Colonial Governor, by yourself, I have toiled endlessly through many nights and done much to create a loyal and prosperous part of the Empire where those who leave the homeland still may live and work as they did before to not only strengthen and provide for the homeland but to act as loyal servants to your majesty and the gods. Now this great service that we have long worked to create has been grossly insulted but vile vermin who seek to mock and humiliate our authority and benign rule, after our forces for long had bled against the native barbarians to secure rich and fertile land for them to make life anew. They have mocked the Empire by dressing as savages and have mocked our great merchants through their disgraceful raiding of the Merchant vessel HMS Oceans Kiss in the dead of night. I beseech you my Emperor, we cannot allow such an insult to go unanswered, send me forces to watch the streets, allow me to pass laws to make them pay for every drop of tea wasted, allow me to keep them inline. We must not allow this to go unanswered.

Sincerely,
Governer Charles Vertlon

Imperial Palace - Krinslo homeland

Emperor Henry X was exhausted, his throne room was crowded by members of parliament, merchants and nobility all demanding action from the Emperor. Action was what Henry was prepared to give, he had had enough of the hours upon hours of reading over and over letters from the colonies that asked for permission to raise new taxes or to have reinforcements. He agreed with the sentiments of the letter yet he was undecided on the extent to which he should allow these measures to go. Extra taxes would recover the loss of the goods but could inspire greater unrest, yet sending extra forces would be costly. He stroked his beard from upon his throne as he weighed up his options, his eyes gazing at the crowded hall which called for him to take action, to not let this insult go unpunished. After a minute Henry rose from his throne and calmly raised his hand, the previously energetic room fell silent.

"I have made my decision!" he declared to them. "This insult upon our great Empire shall not go unpunished, whether merchant, aristocrat of peasantry all are subjects to the Krinslo crown and must respect its authority or face the consequences of such childish disobedience. I shall honour Governor Vertlon's request and I shall grant him the powers to pass laws of taxation which he seeks to obtain, furthermore 2000 troops shall be relocated to serve under the colonial generals to ensure law, order and obedience is enforced and upheld. However I wash my hands of the outcomes which these powers may come to pass. This is my decision!"

After hearing the proceedings of the Krinslo parliament, the colonies were pissed. The congress had numerous meetings inside of Freetown. However, the Krinslo loyalists (otherwise known as Kingsmen) used this as propaganda.

LUNGI, SIERRA LEONE COLONY

The loyalist grabbed a pedestal and got a horn and started to speak. Lightly, the man blew the horn loudly and brought attention to himself. The numerous people living in the city turned to see the commotion. “Hear ye, hear ye! My name is Sam Trumbull and I am going on the proceedings of the Continental Congress!”

“Hear doth te Rebels who scream, revolution! They have not your interests at heart!” One guy walking by whispered to his team of friends nearby. “My god, tear this dude apart...” he said drawing laughter. “Chaos and bloodshead are not a solution, and this the king won’t leave you astray,” the loyalist continued causing numerous groans from the crowd.

“This Congress does not speak for me!” He yelled. One guy in the corner rose to his feet only to be sat by another friend of his. “They’re playing a dangerous game! Pray the king shows his mercy! For shame! For shame!”

And with that, the man was up. He got into the face of the loyalist. Alexander Aitchison, who would be named a founding father, got into the face of the the major loyalist who was giving the proceedings.

“Hear doth-“ the loyalist began

“For the rebel cause, for the ones-“ Aitchison interrupted,

“Who scream-“ the loyalist yelled,

“REVOLUTION,” they both yelled,

“They have not your interests at hear-“ the loyalist spoke,

Aitchison interjected, “Hard to listen to you with a straight face,” he said. The loyalist got back up. “Chaos and bloodshed-“ he began again. “Already haunt as a solution, and I hope the king leaves us astray!” Aitchison yelled.

“This Congress does not speak for me!” The loyalist yelled,

“My dog speaks more eloquently,” Alexander smirked,

“They’re playing a dangerous game,” the loyalist came back with,

“Surely you’ll manage the same!” Alexander shot back,

“Pray the king shows his mercy!” He yelled,

Alexander smirked, “Is he in Haiti?”

The loyalist got back on his feet. “For shame!” He yelled. Alexander raised a fist to the sky, “For the revolution!” He yelled. The rest of the crowd yelled, “FOR THE REVOLUTION!” The loyalist came back ready to speak. Aitchison nipped that plot. “Repeat yourself again, I will scream. Look at me, please don’t repeat!” He yelled.

The loyalist got into his face. “Not your interests!” Aitchison raised a fist and punched the loyalist. “Why should land to the south regulate the price of life!” The friend busted in. “Alexander, please!” The guards busted through. “Silence! A message from the king!” They read the taxes and that the Krinslo would be inserting more troops. The crowd groaned even more.

Uh... Hey?

Flores backed off, an expression of confusion and surprise on his face. He had not expected anything of this sort to be what he saw when he disembarked from the aircraft. A woman, clearly in some branch of the armed forces, most likely a pilot, greeting him with a rifle and A quizzical attitude. He backed away for a second, before the TCIA Operative exited the aircraft with his hand in his coat, holding the grip of his 1903 Hamerless. Witherspoon spoke with the calm but blunt tone.

"Ma'am, please put the gun on the ground. This is The President of the United States of Tanabon, President Daniel Flores. Please do as I say, I don't want anyone to get hurt. And please tell me, who might you be?"

Flores, seeing as he wasn't in as much of a danger of getting shot now smiled warily at the Woman.

"Yeah, I'm from Tanabon. We were supposed to meet someone from your nation here to forge relations, after all, democracies have to stick together, an I right?" He turned around and looked at Witherspoon.

"Richard, take your hand off your gun, please. We don't want to antagonize anyone."

Witherspoon was locked onto the female on the airstrip, his eyes peering through the sunglasses on his face. His emotions on his face were unmoving as he took his hand off his gun, but inside the anxiety was up there. He nodded at Flores.

The two stood awkwardly for a moment, before asking "so, uh... what happened? Are we at the wrong runway? I apologize if that's the case. So, your in the military? I was as well, one of the best times of my life, other than my new job, of course." Flores let out a nervous chuckle, and hopes to God that he didn't slip up.

Well I'm sorry I was a horrible ama host. I'm just going to pack my things and leave. Are you happy now? >:(

A new statistic about voter turnout in the election for Regent in January have been released which enlighten the questionable election of Leader to the office of Regent in the Republic of Heulia. This new figure shows that in the 2019 Election for Regent voter turnout was at an all time low, with only 23% of the eligible population voting in the election for either candidate. Many felt that the election was rigged from the start and this has not been a long standing belief among Heulians although this idea isn't new. This belief may have been one of the reasons for low voter turnout even though there was no evidence of foul play or corruption in this election. The former regent of Heulia Kenrick Grunewald did reveal corruption during his last election finding that his first election had been manipulated, allegedly without his knowledge. That election and other past elections may be the reason that those who are capable of voting choose not to, not seeking to vote in an election they found meaningless, or risk having their homes raided by police for choosing the "wrong" choice or for monitoring the polls. lThere was for the second time a call for Leader to either make voting a compulsory or to ban elections entirely which was first suggested days into the election and has now become a subject of national debate. The new has not changed his stance on the issue and says he believes the nation should remain a Democracy, but people aren't so sure. Leader has stated he wishes to deal with more significant issues, and believes voter turnout is fine at 23% stating "It is no issue that the Heulian people choose not to vote, it is their right, and no one should take it away, the power belongs to the people, and not to the government, if they were forced to vote they would vote for someone they do not want. If they wanted a different candidate, if they wanted a third party candidate than I would not be standing before you, someone else would be. Some say they want a third party to win, that they hate those in office, and that they hate politicians but every year the same people get elected. Either they don't believe in the system, they don't believe in themselves, or they don't believe in telling us the truth in who they want to see represent them. I believe in the system, I believe in the system, and I believe in the Truth". Leaving an impression of incompetence that hasn't improved since the campaign although this is being called by some "simplicity".
