We would focus on building up WALL by spearheading activity ourselves. We can do this- if not by posting IFVs, then by leading conversations regarding new proposals in the WALL server. We will also need to gather the signatories of WALL and create a plan for the future- whether that includes expansion, and other possibilities.

My heart was stolen the day I first received train facts in my telegram inbox.
We would start by holding internal conversations. I think it would be a wonderful opportunity for newer staff to be taken under the wing of more experienced WA players within the channels of our WAA Ministry. We could host discussions about the latest proposals, about the history and politics and what makes a proposal good or bad. We could host workshops designed to draft and edit practice proposals. The possibilities are there, we just have to reach them.
I would begin by reaching out to them in private. I'd ask if I could help them, see what's going wrong. If it's something I can assist with, I will. In short, I'd do my absolute best to support this penguin in my cabinet and also to be clear about the expectations I have for them. If they consistently cannot perform to the standards required of the cabinet, then I will look into the possibility of asking them to step down. This would only be a last resort, however, after multiple conversations and attempts at correction.

That very much depends on the outcomes. I would consider offering the Ministry of Defense to Rom, if he does not win the election for Vice Delegate, and if Westinor would prefer to stay on as Minister of World Assembly Affairs instead.

If I recall correctly, I remember hearing from members of the RP community that the roleplay reel didn't do much for them. However, as Delegate I'd be happy to assist and promote our regional RP however I can and however would best serve them. Basically, I'd listen to what they have to say and act accordingly.

That's actually a great idea, which I'd look into. I am looking for any way to increase the visibility and recruitment of each Ministry, and by hosting AMAs with the Ministers, that is one way both to promote a Ministry and get feedback during the term. Thanks Xagill!
That said, I was already planning to have a poll conducted around the midterm, anonymously, so that we could perhaps gather feedback that way.

I don’t think anyone has asked this in the past few election cycles, so bear with me here: We already have an excellent WA program and it some of the highest authorship figures in the game. I should know; I got on the Power20 for it.
NationStates issue authorship is a similarly engaging area of the game that gets virtually zero attention from any major region other than Forest and (somewhat) TRR, and even then it’s more individual effort than community focus.
As delegate, would you do anything to introduce TNPers to issue authorship, and do you believe that community issue writing resources/mentorship are worth pursuing? We already have a few issue authors (myself included) in TNP, and one editor.

I imagine most of these conversations would happen in our Executive Staff channels. We would push to host some conversation in WALL, but it's my hope that we could mentor our own people in a more private channel so that they can be better informed about discussions in WALL, if that makes any sense. WALL discussions would likely be planned, at least while we're still in the formative stages.
Which kind of swallow?
I want to be Delegate because I've looked at the Executive Staff, and the different Ministries we have, and I can see the ways I could really help them by investing the right effort. I don't know if that makes any sense- I guess I've always liked to work to repair and build things, which is what I'd do.
