And additionally, you are just parroting what they say publicly while they destroy their words easily. Do you still want to say you don’t represent your leaders, your country?

This reminds me of University a few years ago. We had a guest speaker from the American consulate and after, there was a time when the audience could ask questions. Someone in my class asked the guest speaker if George W. Bush would ever stand trial for war crimes he committed. The guest speaker laughed and said: No. The USA will never stand trial for such things because it's never committed such crimes. The whole room stood silent. I'll never forget that. Craziness.

It becomes very hypocritical and lacks credibility if any random American starts talking about it all the while knowing what their own country did. After fixing the countries they destroyed like Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Vietnam etc etc, then they might start to say something.

Otherwise, Americans lack any and all credibility even if they weaponize human rights issue.

Okay, but I can say that the Uyghur genocide is bad for the same reason I can say the genocide of the natives was bad, because I can criticize two things at the same time

News flash: you don’t.

You represent thousands of those suspicious NGOs based in your country that weaponises human rights and topples governments.

You represent those which supports KKK and publicly pretends to hate them.

You represent those who make money out of all those sham human rights conferences.

You represent those who are so gullible to donate money to those “charities” which are linked to the terrorist organizations which destabilize other countries.

In short, you represent all the above which is the USA.

But there have been. W. Bush: https://www.dailysabah.com/world/americas/activist-urges-authorities-to-arrest-bush-over-war-crimes-in-iraq/amp
Obama: https://harvardpolitics.com/obama-war-criminal/

Even if there haven’t been full-on movements, there’s definitely been growing attention to the atrocities of these past presidents.

He doesn't represent those things or his government. He is merely a product of what the US government has decided to do over the years. Just as I am. Just as you are a product of what your government has decided to do over the years. We are all products of our environment.

That is a social problem within a country which is too complex and I don’t want to comment on that.

Weaponising human rights is what American government does best. Do you notice how they look the other way on Pakistan when it was friendly with them and when they allowed a base for them?

Such narratives are created by them and parroted with the help of NGOs and its citizens.

That will not lead to anything but good to hear. Bush anyways will be having a very very horrible outcome later on after he dies rest assured.

You just wanted to hear about where all the outcry against the former presidents is. It’s here, and now you don’t want to hear it?

This is true, I agree with you on that, although, thankfully, my country government did not start those mk ultra experiments so hopefully I am less a slave 🤪

I double checked my post. I just told I am happy that there is a growing movement, but that will not convict him when he is still alive. I meant that. Sorry if I was not clear.

Alright, to conclude, Americans, even if consciously, they claim they do not represent their country or their government when it comes to human rights and all that democracy, they actually subconsciously do since what they say is the exact same thing what their governments say.

But Americans are the product of what the government has decided to do which is creating narratives and all. That is also true.

So ultimately, people talking about human rights and all are just pawns on a bigger polical and colonial games played by USA and the west. China and Russia play the same game but different narratives.

You know it's a heated argument when people who normally shut up are joining in.

Most Americans actually dislike the government's human rights abuses abroad. Hell, despite the outrage towards the middle east after 9/11, most of us still staunchly disapproved of the human rights abuses at Guantanamo Bay. We're decent enough. It's our government that's full of heartless degenerates.

Double-posting is a no-no
RMB rules listed here

Rejected Realms RMB - A Message Board Guide

The regional message board (RMB for short) is the space within the Rejected Realms (TRR for Short) that players and nations can post messages, hold conversations, debates, all sorts! It is free for any member of the region, or members of embassy regions to post on, so long as they stay within the rules.

One notable thing of the typical discussion on the RMB, is that it is within the rules. Despite TRR being a region where you can't be ejected, there are still rules that you must follow to partake on the RMB, and in the region, in good faith.

The Rules, the cornerstone of RMB etiquette. They are:
  1. Stay within NationStates rules
The NationStates rules apply to every Regional Message Board. Non-compliance will incur the wrath of NS Moderators, who can delete your nation. Please become familiar with these rules.

  2. Do not call for the overthrow of the regional government
The regional government is democratically elected, and they are limited on what they can do by the constitution, which is located here. Every important position in TRR is democratically elected, so the best way to ensure you have a say in the government is to apply for citizenship, and partake in elections.

  3. Do not make three or more posts in a row
Posting many times when no one has posted in between can disrupt conversation, makes it difficult for people to follow the RMB, and is spammy. If you have more to say use the edit button.

  4. Do not post hateful content
Hateful content is anything with the intention of insulting, or otherwise causing offence, to another person. This includes, but is not limited to, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and the promotion of hateful ideologies (such as fascism).

  5. Keep all messages Safe for Work
NationStates is a site used by all ages, and thus everything posted on the RMB must be appropriate. Any post which doesn’t will be immediately suppressed.

  6. Don’t quote suppressed messages
They've been suppressed for a reason, and you're likely to be suppressed if you quote them. Quoting a suppressed message and rewriting it as "snip" (or similar) is acceptable, but we recommend you do not engage with suppressed posts at all.

  7. Be respectful
While debates are allowed, flaming and personal arguments are not. You are also at risk of violating site rules. Be respectful of others with alternative views. Always attack the argument, not the person behind it.

  8. Don’t rehash past drama
Try to avoid complaining about your previous region, the reason they ejected you, or your past and how you ended up here. We don't care about your past drama - TRR is the place for a fresh start, not be plagued by issues of the past.

  9. Think before you advertise
Advertising polls is fine, however advertising other regions or alternate offsite platforms for the region is strictly prohibited and will be suppressed.

  10. Stop when asked
If a Regional Officer or an NS Moderator asks you to stop, you must stop.

If you break any of these rules, you are liable to be suppressed, but it's relatively easy to stay within them, as they're aren't hard to follow!

While not generally too harmful, one word messages aren't great as they clog up the RMB, interrupt and disrupt conversations, and entice others to follow in their footsteps and also post one word messages, so don't do it. It doesn't make the RMB interesting, it could discourage members from making posts and prevent others from having an actually decent debate.

Doubleposting is allowed but discouraged, especially if your messages are short. Try to use the edit button instead.

Trolling and spamming comes into the jurisdiction of NS rules, so don't do it. Posting hateful comments, spamming messages, quoting and vastly changing someone's message (beside deleting it in its entirety) is not acceptable at all.

Alongside this, please do not engage trolls or spammers on the RMB, leave them alone to avoid being caught in the crossfire, if you quote or engage them there is an increased chance that you could get punished for quoting, encouraging or just speaking to them.
