The family and their guests gather in the hall. A brief moment of awkwardness arises as they try to climb the odd structure to reach their seats. In attendance are those like Prince Carson VIII, Regent Marley, obviously Emperor Carson, and of course Prince Carson IX. Gifts, bought by family, foreign governments, or otherwise, have already been placed in the structure to be raised up later and replace the dining table when the time comes. Guardsmen note that a moderate protest seems to have been gathered outside the hall, they are dispersed soon after one of them threw a rock at the building.

After all the guests had been seating and a short period of time had passed, the palace Chaplain stands and gives a blessing to the food, and to the Prince. At the conclusion of the prayer, the guests are, slightly, impressed at their plates being delivered to them after being raised into place. One guest, however, notes that he lost his phone when where it had been set moved back into the structure and one servant is sent to retrieve it. Either way, they all begin to eat their meal.

The protest has been regathered back in front of the hall, one of the guards enters the hall to ask his higher up what to do. He is ordered to do as he did before and only send them away if they get rowdy again.

Meals have finished, any missing phones have been returned, tables are cleared and the presents rise. It is time for birthday speeches! Most aren't very notable, Regent Marley's was arguably too garbled to be unintelligible thanks to some intoxicating fruits that have been limited to noble use. Now, however, it is time for the Emperor's speech, he is met with some drunk applause from the crowd as he stands.
