Canadian Flag Redesign

The Canadian Government held a flag design to maintain their Canadian Identity. However, the Dominion of Canada will remain loyal to the Crown of Great Britain and Ireland. The New Design will have the Union Jack on the Left and the French Tricolour on the right to honour the French Speakers of Quebec.

All: “And with your spirit”
Pope Maximus: “Let us call to mind our sins to celebrate the sacred mysteries
All: “I confess to Almighty God
And to you my brothers and sisters
That I have Greatly sinned
In my thoughts and in my words
In what I have done and what I have failed to do
Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault
Therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-virgin
All the angels and saints and you my brothers and sisters
And for me to the Lord our God

Pope: “May Almighty God Have Mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life”

*Everyone sits as Queen Yianna and Yu Suko walk up to the altar, they bow Queen Yianna Sits and Yu Suko walks to the podium*

Yu Suko: A reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah:

“ Comfort, give comfort to my people, says the LORD.
Speak to the heart of Jerusalem, and proclaim to her
that her service has ended, that her guilt is expiated,
that she has received from the hand of the LORD
double for all her sins.
A voice proclaims:
in the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD!
Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God!
Every valley shall be lifted up,
every mountain and hill made low;
the rugged land shall be a plain,
the rough country, a broad valley.
Then the glory of the LORD shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together;
for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
A voice says, “Proclaim!”
I answer, “What shall I proclaim?”
“All flesh is grass,
and all their loyalty like the flower of the field.
The grass withers, the flower wilts,
when the breath of the LORD blows upon it.”

“Yes, the people is grass!
The grass withers, the flower wilts,
but the word of our God stands forever.”
Go up onto a high mountain,
Zion, herald of good news!
Cry out at the top of your voice,
Jerusalem, herald of good news!
Cry out, do not fear!
Say to the cities of Judah:
Here is your God!
Here comes with power
the Lord GOD,
who rules by his strong arm;
here is his reward with him,
his recompense before him.
Like a shepherd he feeds his flock;
in his arms he gathers the lambs,
carrying them in his bosom,
leading the ewes with care.

The Word of the Lord”

All: “Thanks be to God”

*Yu Suko Sits as Queen Yianna steps to the podium*

Yianna: “ A reading from the letter of St Paul to the Romans
What we suffer in this life can never compare to the glory which is waiting for us.
Everyone moved by the Spirit is a son of God.
The spirit you received is not the spirit of slaves bringing fear into our lives again;
it is the spirit of sons,
and it makes us cry out Abba, Father!
The spirit himself and our spirit bear united witness that we are children of God
and if we are children, we are heirs as well:
heirs of God and coheirs with Christ,
sharing his suerings so as to share his glory.
I think that what we suer in this life
can never be compared to the glory, as yet unrevealed, which is waiting for us.
The word of the Lord.”

All: “Thanks be to God

*everyone sits while the Pope prepares his homily*

Pope Maximus: “Dear friends, today I stand before you with a heavy heart, as I bid farewell to a dear soul whom I have known since his infancy. From the moment I held him in my arms and baptized him, to the day I confirmed him in his faith, and the glorious day he was crowned as king, it has been an incredible journey. And now, as I stand here to lay him to rest, I am filled with mixed emotions. But above all, I am touched by the immense turnout of love and respect shown by each one of you for our departed King Yi X.

King Yi was not only a king to his people but was a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. He possessed a warmth and kindness that endeared him to all who knew him. His reign was marked by a deep sense of responsibility and devotion to his kingdom. He understood that true leadership was not about power and authority but about service and selflessness. King Yi X embraced the teachings of Jesus with humility and lived as a beacon of hope and compassion for his people.

In the Beatitudes, Jesus presents a radical vision of blessedness, a way of life that challenges the values of the world. He proclaims that those who are poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, the merciful, and the peacemakers are the ones who are truly blessed. King Yi embodied these virtues. He recognized that true greatness lies not in the accumulation of wealth or the exercise of control, but in the love and care we extend to others.

Today, as we mourn his passing, we are called to reflect on the example set by King Yi . His life was a testament to the transformative power of the gospel. He understood that the pursuit of justice, compassion, and harmony are the cornerstones on which a just and peaceful society is built. King Yi’s commitment to the well-being of his people serves as an inspiration for all leaders present here today.

To the world leaders gathered among us, I address you with a plea for unity and cooperation during these trying times. Our world is plagued by conflicts and wars that tear at the fabric of humanity. The pursuit of power and dominance has left countless lives shattered and communities devastated. But there is another way—a way that King Yi embraced. It is the way of Christ, a way of humility, compassion, and self-sacrifice. He paid the ultimate sacrifice on that faithful day in Yidyah and saved us all by doing it

Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, calls us to be peacemakers in the world. He challenges us to seek reconciliation and understanding, to work tirelessly for justice and equality, and to protect the dignity and rights of every individual. The example set by Yi demonstrates that true leadership is not about self-interest but about the common good. It is about building bridges of dialogue, fostering mutual respect, and striving for peace even in the face of adversity.

Today, I implore you, world leaders, to heed the call of Christ and follow the example set by King Yi. Let us set aside our differences and work together towards a world where swords are beaten into plowshares, where the cries of the oppressed are heard and answered, and where justice and compassion prevail.

King Yi, in addition to his leadership, was also a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Yianna. Their marriage was a testament to love, fidelity, and mutual support. Yi recognized that a strong and loving partnership was essential in fulfilling his responsibilities to his people. Together, they faced challenges with unwavering strength, and their commitment to one another became a source of inspiration for the kingdom.

Furthermore, Yi’s faith in Christ extended to his family. He embraced the role of a father with great love and devotion. It was a privilege for me to baptize his three triplets, Ya, Yi XI, and Yanye. He understood the importance of nurturing their spiritual growth, just as he nurtured the growth of his kingdom. He instilled in them the values of compassion, justiceand service, ensuring that they would carry on his legacy of love and righteousness.

In conclusion, let us remember King Yi as a man of profound faith, a leader who embodied the Beatitudes in his every action, and a devoted husband and father. His life serves as a reminder to us all that true greatness lies not in power and authority, but in humility and service to others. May his example inspire us to strive for a world where justice, compassion, and peace prevail. And may we, as leaders and individuals, commit ourselves to the pursuit of the common good, guided by the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

All: “Amen”

Pope: And now, dear brothers and sisters, let us join our hearts and minds together as we lift up our prayers and intentions to our Heavenly Father. In this moment of petition, let us remember the soul of our departed King Yi X, his family, and all those entrusted with leadership roles around the world. Let us also offer our own personal intentions and concerns. We humbly present our prayers and petitions

*The congregation bows their heads in prayer as the Yianna walks to the podium*

Yianna: “For our armed forces. Help them gain the strength to help us live in a safe and secure country. We pray to the Lord

All: “Lord, hear our prayers”

Yianna: “For the Pope, that he may stay in good health lead the people of God. We pray to the Lord”

All: “Lord, hear our prayers”

Yianna: “For all the leaders of the world, that they may be guided by wisdom, compassion, and a genuine desire for the common good. Grant them courage to address the challenges that confront our global community, and inspire them to work towards justice, peace, and the well-being of all people.”

All: “Lord, hear our prayers”

Yianna: “For the repose of the soul of not only my husband, King Yi but for Emperor Riku. Help guide these heros to be with you in your kingdom. We pray to the Lord”

All: “Lord, hear our prayers”

Pope: “Heavenly Father, hear the prayers of your people as we commend to you our intentions, spoken and unspoken. Grant us the grace to trust in your divine providence, knowing that you hear every prayer and answer them according to your wisdom and love. We ask this through Christ our Lord.”

All: “Amen”

Pope: “Lift up our hearts.”
All: “We lift them up to the Lord.”
Pope: “Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.”
All: “It is right and just.”

Pope: “It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For through His Paschal Mystery, He accomplished the marvellous deed, by which He has freed us from the yoke of sin and death, summoning us to the glory of being now called a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for your own possession, to proclaim everywhere your mighty works, for you have called us out of darkness into your own wonderful light.”

Pope: “And so, with Angels and Archangels, with Thrones and Dominions, and with all the hosts and Powers of heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory, as without end we acclaim:”

All: “Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.”

Pope: “You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Pope: “At the time He was betrayed and entered willingly into His Passion, He took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying:”

Pope: “TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.”

Pope: “In a similar way, when supper was ended, He took the chalice and, once more giving thanks, He gave it to His disciples, saying:”

Pope: “TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.”

Pope: “The mystery of faith.”

All: “We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again.”

Pope: “Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of His Death and Resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the Bread of life and the Chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.”

Pope: “Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.”

Fr. Crismon: “Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Maximus our Pope and Yorubas our Bishop and all the clergy.”

Cardinal Osmarov: “Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy: welcome them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with the blessed Apostles, and all the Saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.”

Pope: “Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, forever and ever.”

All: “Amen.”

Pope: “At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:”

All: “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed to be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil”

Pope: “Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

All: “For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.”

Pope: “Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles: Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign forever and ever.”

All: “Amen.”

Pope: “The peace of the Lord be with you always.”

All: “And with your spirit.”

Pope: “Let us now offer each other a sign of peace”

[The congregation offers one another a sign of peace, such as a handshake or a verbal greeting.]

Choir (sings): “Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.”

Pope: “Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.”

All: “Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.“

*The pope, the cardinal and the priest and 6 other members of the church give each other communion and they split up to administer the eucharist*

Pope: “A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain,
and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
He began to teach them, saying:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you
and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.
Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward will be great in heaven."

The Gospel of the Lord.”

All: “Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ”
