Adventures in font forge; apparently OpenType likes to make you work to perform lookback replacements, so it took me a while (read: way too many hours) to find a way to perform syllable encapsulation on the letters before the vowel/syllabic consonant.
Still a bit of cleanup and finishing work to do (some extra characters, punctuation, etc...), but I finally have a working font.
