I know what JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is, but I've never seen it and know nothing about it, so the references are what went over my head.
Out of all the people here that I would assume that watched the show, you would have been my number one pick. Huh

I've seen art from it and I don't like the style. I also don't tend to watch a ton of anime. I only really like a few shows, namely Steins;Gate, Katanagatari, Kill la Kill and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Whatever you say
Can I get a poll for whether you think that Catalonia should be a free sovereign state or not, personally I think it should.
I never could get into anime, though I've seen some great anime movies
the only good anime is Kiss x Sis
It embodies everything that anime fans swear not all anime is like
I can see either being thematically appropriate. A more technical topographic style would be interesting, especially if you can increase the scale of the map.
I would recommend topographic if fighting ever comes to Menna.
That's one of the reasons I'm working on it from coastline tracings. I needed to up the resolution a lot.
You can find lots of detailed references for topographical map symbology online. US Geological Survey is the big one I know of, not sure what Canada's equivalent agency is.
Canada Hydrographic Service for coastline and shipping lanes, Geological Survey of Canada for land.
I just always hate how my maps turn out when I make them topographic.
EDIT: The perfectionist in me is really annoying about these things. I just spent two hours working on it, hated what I saw and deleted everything to start fresh. I can just never get it to feel right.
So I'm honestly starting to feel a bit burnt out of NS in general over the last few days, to the point that I've started to turn my attention to a solo worldbuilding project rather than stuff out here.
I'll try my best to get around this burn out and get active on NS again, and I certainly will maintain my duties as SoRP as long as I can. However, I don't think I'll be posting frequently like I had earlier so for those involved in As the Poppies Bloom, you can operate based on the plans I laid out earlier. If you want to involve my units just let me know and I'll get back to you on where I stand with that. To the people who want to do nationbuilding with me or need a response from me for SoRP related duties, I ask for your patience as I will likely log on less frequently than before.
I would like to apologize to everybody about this and I hope for some amount of forgiveness. I will be moving to appoint a new Associate of the Office of RP to help me perform my duties during this lull so if you are interested, please TG me so I know who wants the position so I can make an informed decision.
Basically the group of 3 are going to be sent out to find and defeat a group of bandits who have been raiding a village and kidnapping people. Pretty standard stuff, but they are going to find that this guy is a massive racsist and has been kidnapping humans to recruit to his mini warband, and slaughtering the non-humans. The party will be level three, and i've made the final encounter interesting by giving the big bad 2 magical items that, as a Veteren, allows him to use Command and Suggestion. His title is "Silver-Tongue" and everyone just thought he was really persuasive, when in fact he had been using magic to brainwash people.
Can't wait to see it. I've been thinking about redoing my map, but haven't been able to find a style that I like.
