The Region of United Nations welcomes all nations resolved to live in peace with their neighbors. Placing your nation in this region means that you agree to abide by the rules in the By-Laws and the rules of the NS Game.

The history of this "ancient" region, refounded in July 2005, includes one threat of extinction and one near extinction. Because we were resurrected we commemorate our survival with these everlasting cheers: LONG LIVE MAX BARRY! THANK YOU! All Hail KING BOBERT, his Excellency of Tihland!

Juskalherria can you cure me

Hey, everyone.
Now I'm planning to change my flag and I asked for help from my friends. However, I'm a person who has difficulty choosing, so I hope you guys can vote for me which flag is the most suitable!
(Please state the reason why you voted for that national flag if possible)

For me it's hard to choose stuff too, and i have a hard time explaining why i like things, so sorry if i can't explain why i like them, but i do like 2. and 4. the most, if i had to choose between 2. and 4. i would pick 4.

You were already cured at the time you asked.

I'd like more information if it's available.

1. What do the colors stand for?
2. What does the square (in the middle of the lines) mean?
3. Do the bars and the direction in which they run have meaning?

However, if you are just trying out different "looks" then I chose 4 because it's just complicated enough to be interesting while maintaining the elements of simplicity that make for good flag design.
========================================

I'd also like to pass on some Z-Day stats. United Nations placed 15th out of the top 100 regions for Most Survivors with No Zombies and 27th for Most Survivors. When our little region of 40 nations places with the feeders that have 5000+ nations I think we're doing pretty well. In that regard I'd like to give a shout out to Reyo, who helped with firing a significant number of cure missiles. I'd also like to thank our scientists who researched a cure, Abassyia, Saint Neots, SussyAmongusLand, Caneeda, Cochinchina State, Galenila, Papal States in exile and Plungo. We'll fly Reyo's flag as our regional flag for a week and the scientists' for a day.

Answer the questions:

Q-1. What do the colors stand for?
A: Yellow is the traditional color of Vietnamese emperors since ancient times, and is also the color that symbolizes the country, green symbolizes peace (flag 1, 2, 3, 4), white represents purity, justice and fairness. As for the flag with red stripes, it symbolizes prosperity and success. For the flag with blue stripes, it means: hope, sharing, sympathy, struggle

Q-2. What does the square (in the middle of the lines) mean?
A: That is called the lí (離) hexagram (☲ ; Meaning: Flame). lí hexagram "responds to the South", is an expression of "zeal, intensity, progress, civilization" and it can also be symbolized as "the strong protecting the weak" with the strong being the connecting strip and the weak being the broken strip in the middle.

Q-3. Do the bars and the direction in which they run have meaning?
A: For flags, the three stripes are connected, yes. The three stripes represent three rivers: Dong Nai (Đồng-Nai), Tien Giang (Tiền-Giang) and Hau Giang (Hậu-Giang) in Cochinchina. It can also symbolize that the strong protect each other or creativity. Those three stripes are the qián (乾) hexagram (☰ ; Meaning: Heaven).

Note: These are answers from my friends.

Do you see your country as primarily peace loving? Or, is the country known to treat everyone "fairly"? Or, is the country successful and prosperous? Or, was the country born out of struggle with hope for the future?
