Alfa-X Bullet Train
Capable of speeds of as much as 249 miles per hour. Called the Alfa-X, the train is scheduled to go into service in 2025. Rail company JR East plans to operate it at 360 kilometers per hour. To cope with massive wind resistance when entering tunnels, the Alfa-X’s first car will mostly be a sleek nose. With just three windows, there looks to be hardly any space, if at all, for passengers in the front. It is painted in metallic silver with green stripes and has 10 compartments.

The Cascadas Mountain Range

The Cascada's, while beautiful, offer a danger. Hiking beyond designated trails are usually reserved for highly trained professionals. The high and thick tree lines make air rescues almost impossible. The rocky sides lead to landslides without warning during the off winter months, and lead to dangerous avalanches of ice and snow during the winter. Heavy rains are an almost constant and lead to deadly flash floods. This is why some of the natives to the area call it Devil's Land. Visitors can still visit the former prison that was created before the founding.
