Inglethorp City

Inglethorp City is the capital city of Inglethorp County and one of Statecontrol's biggest cities. It is located in Mid-East Inglethorp County, the county itself being located in North-West Statecontrol, and it is surrounded by the Circle Range, a mountain range that has the peculiarity of being a circle in which the city is located. A scientific exploration of the terrain in October of 2021 revealed the mountain range was, in fact, an especially big volcano inactive for millions of years which eroded as time went on into its characteristic mountainous form. The city itself is 7 sq/km big and has an estimated population of over 10 million people, with the majority (roughly 53% of the population) living in the Southern neighbourhoods, where the proletariat, agents of the revolution, has traditionally lived. Among its cultural interests are the Inglethorp Castle, where the eponymous noble family lived, now converted into a museum, the Church of Violet, an archetypical example of Statecontrolian superstitious architecture where people went to worship Violet, a non-existent divintiy - like all divinities - before it was closed down thanks to the crackdown on religious activity, and, of course, the Monument to the Revolution, a 100 metres tall concrete statue of our Great Leader, whose name shall not be spoken.
