What is a conlang?
In simple terms: Conlang is a portmanteau of ‘constructed’ and ‘language’. These are languages are not formed naturally. Instead, they are languages made by a person, or a group.

What are conlangs used for?
Conlangs are used for different things. But they’re mainly either to be used as auxiliary languages which are designed as common second languages for people with different native languages, artistic languages which are designed as to be used for works of art (the most popular here in this region), or engineered languages which aren’t very popular and they’re designed to meet objective criteria. These are often experimental.

Can a conlang become famous?
Of course it can! In 2017 and 2018, Duolingo offered language learning courses for High Valyrian (used in Game of Thrones) and Klingon (used in Star Trek). There are also around 200-2000 people who use Esperanto as a first language. However, it will most likely wont get as famous like Spanish, Arabic, Russian and other languages popularly used.

UNION OF CONLANG NATIONS

What is the UCN?
The Union of Conlang Nations is a region that is dedicated to discussing linguistics, and of course, sharing their conlangs and rating it on a tier list sharing criticisms on what they can improve.

How did the UCN exist?
Before the Union of Conlang Nations existed, there were two regions dedicated to conlangs, Council of Constructed Languages (successor of League of Constructed Languages) and Region of Conlangers. However, those regions were inactive and was dying. So, Selanese Empire sent a telegram to Dairasams dumb language, The emnian realm, and Starcevolija. While these are the first people to know about the UCN, it is regarded that Starcevolija was not a founder (never was active since joining) and Bengen was a founder (first member who joined that didn't receive the telegram).
