But 12 and 20 are different?

Half of a kion and 8 liangx.

kion and liangx are units of mass. In ancient times 1 kion = 16 liangx, but today 1 kion = 10 liangx = 500 g.

Yes, I am just saying that it is possible to add a space character

Terraopolis wrote:So, this is set during the 22nd century, so it's not completely worldwide, but it's based on the most spoken languages (not by how many people speak it, then it's just English with a few loanwords), which I assume would be English, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and I'll probably add Arabic just because I like honestly (I should stop adding things i just like in my semi-"naturalistic"-like conlangs).

I'm mainly thinking of just using Latin and it's Unicode extensions, but I could also use some type of Hangul-like writing (kind of just because I like it, I do have to say a lot of my languages are slightly "biased"). Because I most likely won't be able to type the symbols I make, I'll use Hangul or Latin when typing.

also [ʋˠ] is just w but like a bit more rounded (in a way I don't think that's even possible, just sounds a bit different (trust me (ok i think i just have to say it i wrote it like that because I thought it looked cool))) but that's just an allophone of /w/
and I'll probably include /j/ in the final version and replace /ɸ/ with /f/ and /v/.

[ʋˠ] is different from [w] in that it is not rounded in fact.

Now for a “universal tongue”, simple sounds like /p/, /t/, /k/, /b/, /s/, /d/, /m/, /n/ and /r/ for an example, notice that these can be pronounced in many ways allophonically, /p/ can be pronounced as /f/ for people who have /f/ but not /p/, r can be /l/, or any rhotic and the rest can have different sounds without bumping.

Vowels can be a, i and o, but it can have different allophones again. Note that I just created an example phonology, maybe call this Examplic (or endonym: Ikamiki)
