This was specifically done to allow Oceania to retain its territorial waters in the Vimia and to allow Oceanian ships to continue to reach its occupation zone in the Vimia. Although the Frontieran government will try to avoid firing on the Oceanian military, the Frontieran government advises Oceania to use Vimian railways and highways for transportation between the Frontieran and Oceanian occupation zones.

I figured having more islands in the chain would make more sense because of the Oceanian-Frontieran high speed rail. It's hard to dig super long tunnels under the ocean.

Oceania cannot use the railway as a recent rise in track bombing and a high risk of bombs being planted on trains have made it near impossible to use Vimian rail lines along with most of the rail system being in ruin.

The pilot gave a quiet scoff, banking the aircraft left and hugging the very edge outside the exclusion zone.

"FIAA, be advised that I am unauthorized to comply with that order. I would be liable to be shot the moment I return home if I came with you at this time. How copy? Over."

This wasn't something out of the ordinary the pilot was stating. The Commonwealth of Batakhovia was known for its extremely harsh and excessive penal code.

The pilot flipped the radio channel back, BHF-441 beginning it's journey into the Total Exclusion Zone.

What's happening in Lyrali?
25 January 2024

The third issue.

Celebrating three years of Lyrali!

Click on the buttons (or spoilers) below!

Lyrali is now three years old (plus about a week). We missed the three year anniversary. It was on 19 January. Oops.

Let's make RP even better and even more exciting!

Joe Biden and Donald Trump have won their respective primaries in New Hampshire. It is highly likely that the 2024 United States presidential election will be a rematch between Biden and Trump.

We've got 147 embassies, and 1 under construction.

Be happy! :)

Yinz have a nice day!

Yeah, the region has been pretty quiet; also, there seemed to be a general lack of interest during the last Lyrali Olympic Games, so I decided to pause them for now.

Kraitz. Once a city near the coast of Poli, nature surrounding the area, has turned into a battlefield. After Fuskoriai forces took control of Kraitz, more reinforcements came within the long sea-filled area although the reinforcements are less in quantity despite Frontier Isles's sea border prohibition on millitary water & aircrafts. The war still going on with Fushcor having let New Ovinhald it's independence in condition that they assist them in the war.

Forces from Fushcor continues to push forward after it's success on Kraitz, and is now gathering to attack the nearest areas while "avoiding" rebels. Fukoriai troops manages to take control of Ainstore, Opi-Actav, and Stronte Kose after weeks of battle. During all this success, foreign aid from Batakhovia to Actavii might make Fushcor worried.

Olympics might bring this region up again.

Holiday season is probably the main cause of inactivity, or probably just busy with work.

Not a problem at all! We don't mind double posting here in Lyrali.

RP: Vimian Reunification
15 January 2127

As the year becomes 2127, the war between Fushcor and Actavii rages on.

Under the Champlain Accord of 2122 that was agreed upon between Frontier Isles, The United Oceanian Isles, and Actavii, "Upon the ratification of the Vimian constitution, the Vimia shall be recognized as a fully sovereign state."

Recently, the Constitutional Legislature of the Vimia has drawn up a Constitution that received unanimous approval from the legislature. Frontier Isles and the United Oceanian Isles have also approved of the legislature. Since Actavii is busy fighting a war, the Actaviian government has not yet approved of the Constitution. Nonetheless, Frontier Isles and the Oceania will continue the reunification process while considering Actavii absent from the agreement.

On the steps of the former House of the People of the Vimia, which will be renamed to the National Assembly of the Vimia, Theodore Shine, President of the Constitutional Legislature of the Vimia (and also a politician who once worked for former president Owen Stark of the Federation of the Vimia), has officially announced the ratification of the new Constitution:

"It is with great pride and honour that I officially announce the ratification of the Constitution of the Vimian State. From this day forth, there shall be peace and stability again! For the Vimia!"

The large audience gathered before President Shine cheered and applauded loudly.

"Long live democracy!" shouted a young university student.

Next to him stood the enterprising young Sibyllinus Principane.
"We shall see..."

Elections for the National Assembly will be held in the Vimia soon.

The newly reunified Vimian State may pose a threat to the war between Fushcor and Actavii, as it is likely that some people will start to view the war as an unjustified conflict on land that belongs to neither belligerent.

In the Oceanian and Frontieran Occupation Zones, both nations have officially converted their occupation zones to Security Districts, as prescribed by the Champlain Accord. These troops will maintain their respective Security Districts at least eighteen months (or at most three years).

Since Oceania and Frontier Isles will continue to maintain military presence for at most the next three years due to the existence of Security Districts, Frontier Isles advises Oceania to maintain its military in the Vimia to prevent any invasions into the newly reunified Vimian State. Even after the Security Districts are abolished, Oceania should be able to defend the Vimia through its bases allowed under the Champlain Accord of 2122.

Batakhovia

Аперацыя «Архангел»
Vimian Disputed Territory, Actavii
15th January, 2127

After refuelling in an undisclosed location, BHF Flight 441 was inbound on a course behind Actaviian lines at 35,000 feet on an apparently benign humanitarian mission. They'd made it past the Exclusion Zone, but the most important part of their objectives were yet to come, for unbeknownst to the Frontier Isles Aviation Administration, the IL-76TD was actually carrying not food and medicine, but two plainclothed and heavily armed fireteams from the 5th Spetsnaz Brigade equipped with integrally-suppressed VS VALs, including Lieutenant Iziasava Borushko herself, and a large unmarked ordinance box currently affixed to the deck. The air was tense as the aircraft performed a banking pylon turn back in the direction of Fushcorian lines.

“Чырвоны гарыць! Чырвоны гарыць!”

Borushko sounded off through the comms as the red light blinked on, the ear-piercing howl of atmospheric decompression sounding out as the cargo doors opened up like a gaping mouth. Their objectives were quite simple: to disrupt Actaviian supply lines, hit them fast and hard with guerilla tactics, then disappear into the countryside before reinforcements could arrive, repeat until dead. And if they decided to waste precious time and extra soldiers hunting them down, all the better for their new Fushcorian allies. Several of them shifted behind the supply crate, ready to shove it out of the aircraft once the light turned green.

“Мы зялёныя! Ідзі, ідзі, ідзі!”

Once the green bulb lit up, a concerted effort was undertaken; as one, they thrust the box out of the cargo plane before the fireteams followed four-by-four, freefalling in formation as a highly organized HALO jump, pulling chutes at about 900m from landing. The crate, likewise, deployed its own chute, though the nature of its contents only became clear after it landed. Nobody bothered to interact with it, but rather, it seemed to fall apart on its own to reveal a tightly-packed bundle of machinery that unfolded itself layer by layer, like a kaleidoscope. Panels turned into arms, into legs, camera lenses and sensors crooning up as an expendable platoon of cheaply-constructed automations assembled, intended to roam mindlessly around enemy lines shooting anything and everything until they either ran out of ammo or were destroyed.

Whilst the Commonwealth would never publicly admit it, unofficially, their own secret military intervention had begun.
