ANN News
20 February 2126

"Yesterday, the images released by the Bravendetch terrorists of our brave citizens have been found to contain a crucial piece of information. Actaviian police and military analysts have concluded the photos were taken in the territory of Fushcor, as evident by the taiga trees in the background.

This actually makes a fair bit of sense. Both Fushcor and Bravendetch terrorists are fighting us Actaviians, it is obvious they would cooperate.

This means that Fushcor has fed the world lies. They are involved in supporting Bravendetch terrorists who torture and take hostages, the Fushcorians have lost all honour, if they had any in the first place."

Later in the afternoon

"This special broadcast is brought to you by ANN news. Arzur ap ekwos and the Ministry of defence has announced an hour ago a mobilisation and conscription. All men ages 20 to 30 are to report to their nearest military base for physical evaluation and if all is well, conscription. We wish you soldiers all the best in the fighting to come. For those dead by Fushcorian missiles, for our brothers in Actav-Vimio so savagely tortured and murdered in cold blood by Bravendetch. Let's avenge them!"

Accusations
21st February, 2126

In a press-room filled with cameras and reporters, located on the north-east side of the Arch-Bo Palas. Just a concrete building, but has so much history in it's land. Reporters came as soon as the administration publicly scheduled a press-speech from President Vaas.

"Thank you for coming to the Palas this day".

"Firstly, I would like to address about the accusations made against this very nation which has been falsely made by achslov".

"They have suggested the world to believe that we.."

"Fuskoriai.."

"Have been supplying and teaming with the 'Vimian' millitant group".

Vaas stops for a moment.. and continues.

"Actavii has always tried to connect everything less pleasant to Fuskoriai. This time, they accuse us of giving home to filthy rebels."

"They.. Actavii.. Achslov accused us from photographs taken by the millitant group. Let me remind the international community that many places have landmarks such as the ones the oppostion accuses us to be the only one to have."

More camera flashes

"This accusation behavior of Actavii started way before this current situation."

"As of today, I ask the international community to ignore false accusations and spread the truth towards a path of prosperity."

The President's speech continued onto other issues, as the day turns to night.. and a war still surging in Lyrali.

FM Magdalena Frederiksen speaks after a post cabinet meeting

First Minister Magdalena Frederiksen, Foreign Minister Megan Salvador, and Justice Minister Steven Wong have confirmed that the Soleforan Government will provide temporary amnesty and refugee to Barvendetch and its members.

It comes after extensive talks with Barvendetch officials which could lead to a ripple effect in Lyrali.

''We know the decision we made will have consequences and an effect on the security and peace of Lyrali, however, it is a decision we are willing to make'' Frederiksen said at the post-cabinet briefing.

Justice Minister Steven Wong further added that, even though Solefore is willing to give amnesty and refugee to Barvendetch officials and members, this was only temporary. ''Yes, even though ,we are willing to give amnesty and refugee to Barvendetch, this is only temporary, as once a ceasefire or a peace deal is agreed between Actavii, and Barvendetch, it will be revoked.'' He also stated as a pre-condition for the amnesty and refugee, Barvendetch has agreed to let a certain amount of Actaviyians they have held hostage free from their captive.

When asked if the amnesty and refugee was legal by a news a reporter from Actavii, the Justice Minister stated that ''By Soleforan standards, then Yes, it is legal. Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Legislation (Solefore) Act 2102, the government can temporary give this status to a certain individual or group after careful evaluation of their cases and situation'' .

Relations with Actavii
A news reporter from ANN News of Actavii, then asked Foreign Minister Megan Salvador, if the decision by the Government would strain or weaken the diplomatic relationships between Solefore and Actavii, she stated that, "Every action of the government will have an effect whether it may be positive or negative, so we will just have to wait and see how Actavii responds''.

Activian Involvement Pt.2
24th February 2126

As the international world continues to argue between where Activian hostages were & are held, the overwhelming battles in Actav-Vimo continues. Both from widely-known millitants, Barvendetch, and Fushcor. Fuskoriai ships were recently seen 60km off Actav-Vimo coast, an unusual encounter by Fushcor, while still maintaning missle attacks troughout the conflicted land and also the land of Actavii itself.

Fushcor seems to be using outer-territory areas to launch their missiles, although the location remains kept, while also taking advantage of the EI-Pacantic Area, which is not allowing Actavii to attack from a certain position. As Solefore has granted amnesty to Barvendetch personnel, the millitant group agreed to release 23 hostages from Actav-Vimo in an agreement with Solefore.

As a result of the decision from Solefore, many suspect Barvendetch will hide hostages in the island.

Only thing anyone can do is to think, What's next?

"Fire. Fire. Fire."

The cold command, calm and stern, rang through the helmet of Corporal Iziasava Borushko as the throwers along the wide grassy plains launched a haze of clay targets into the sky. Gripping the pilot sticks of her Halijaf-class mech, her on-board HUD highlighted each one and calculated their trajectory as her RUSPAT-camouflaged frame lifted the 40mm cannon to sight them in. Everything seemed as though it moved underwater for her, the neural solution coursing through her veins and giving her the reflexes of a viper as the cannon thundered away, muffled explosions sounding out across the proving grounds with each successful interception. What would have been perhaps more terrifying was that it felt less of her own volition, and moreso at the primal impulse at the behest of the iron voice that directed her through her commlink; that is, if she could have consciously perceived such a compulsion. As far as Corporal Borushko was aware, she was following orders of her own free will, but if she saw the conceited smile of satisfaction from Colonel Alenov from behind his computer monitor, she might have had second thoughts.

He himself couldn't have asked for a better candidate. Iziasava passed through the SPAKAM-regime without breaking a sweat, killing three instructors during her Interrogation Resistance & Evasion Certification and wreaking such complete havoc on the OpFor during Asymmetrical Combat School, they had to pull her out prematurely. Mastering the Halijaf was something he'd been initially unsure of however; it was, for all intents and purposes, strictly an experimental piece of equipment that had yet to enter full production, and budget drafters weren't entirely sold yet on the idea of funding bipedal mechanized infantry for the Special Operations Forces. But with results like these, they might start to change their tune.

"Cease fire. Hold position." He spoke emphatically through his radio, watching her mech immediately comply, holding the 40mm autocannon in a low-ready position. Truthfully, it was the pilot herself he was most proud of - a few cybernetic enhancements that issued the prefrontal cortex with persuasive suggestibility whenever an order was given and which stimulated the pleasure centres of her brain once it was carried out, whilst still allowing for certain split-second decision making in a fluid moment of crisis. A discreet nod towards the aide adjacent to him and the clatter of fingers to keyboard echoed throughout the bunker. Moments later, a remotely-controlled VBIED broke out through the treeline on rapid approach towards Borushko from behind.

Her mech remained completely still and immobile, having received no order to engage. Alenov stared at the monitor with a piercing gaze, waiting.

"400 metres, Comrade-Colonel, sir." The aide announced in a joyless, formal tone. The mech didn't move an inch.

"300 metres."

Alenov silently retrieved his cigarette from the ashtray and took a long, slow drag, the cherry red glow of its tip accentuating the aged contours of his rugged face.

"200 metres."

Smoke washed past his lips as he continued to watch the old pickup truck continue its suicidal charge towards Borushko.

"100 metres, sir-"

"Weapons free." He announced over the handheld radio. Immediately, the machine came to life and rapidly pirouetted, the cannon spooling up and firing off a single round towards the offending target with laser accuracy. A louder, thunderous explosion rocked the proving grounds and caused the bunker to shake a little bit, fire and debris spilling out all around the Halijaf, the baleful red glow of its cameras scanning around for additional targets all the while. There was nothing left.

'The perfect, obedient but adaptable soldier that Batakhovia needs for the new age, sacrificing her personal autonomy so others could keep theirs. A crying shame that it couldn't be rolled out across the entire Armed Forces,' he lamented. He dismissively put out his cigarette and, with the ghost of a smile, spoke to her once again.

"Well done, soldier. RTB for debrief."

Iziasava Borushko felt a rush of ecstasy flood her mind and body like nothing else, as soon as she heard those words.

The Krepasc - Duchersk, the Commonwealth of Batakhovia
5th of March, 2126

It was an unseasonably cold Spring twilight evening in Duchersk, capital of the Commonwealth, a light rain pouring over the neo-brutalist landscape of the city as the last rays of sunshine vaguely illuminated the imposing regal monolith that was the Krepasc, a fortress-like symbol of the state's authority over all of Batakhovian society. It was a night like any other, quiet and orderly, with cars and buses ferrying commuters from their workplaces or to the various state-owned malls that had been recently proliferating the city and, increasingly, some of the other autonomous republics too. While few guessed or even thought about it, fewer still knew that behind the gargantuan medieval-age walls of the President's residence, a rather tense meeting was underway between the leaders of the country.

President Yaramir Zylinski was a stern and commanding figure of about sixty years with the remnants of a prizefighters physique, combed peppercorn hair with wisps of white here and there and a walrus moustache. His ice-cold blue eyes scrutinized each and every face that looked back at him from the video call on his computer, privately evaluating in his mind their loyalties against their effectiveness as leaders. So far, they'd done little to invoke his displeasure, but The United Oceanian Isles seemed to be taking a keen interest in their efforts, and he couldn't abide any further mistakes now. He cleared his throat to speak, each of them hanging onto his every word.

"Comrades,

The year so far has been intense and uneasy for each of our respective republics in reasserting our national interests and I would like to say right now that each of you have dealt with the challenges professionally, ensuring not only our sovereignty but our missile parity and security within the region. At the same time, military units and districts have maintained an acceptable level of combat readiness and, of course, I would like to note as well the unprecedented support of our people, the patriotic mood of the overwhelming majority of the citizens of the Commonwealth, the unity and cohesion of people of various nationalities and religious denominations against the subversive terrorist elements within our northern region.

Recent developments throughout Fushcor with their recent capture of Kraitz have confirmed, and we can all see it, the dramatic increase in the volatility of world geopolitical events and the obfuscation of military blocs and political organization. They are not hiding their ambitions for unipolar world domination; well, we are not going to give up our own ambitions either. But at the same time, our rearmament has revealed many problems of our own. For example, we need to seriously restructure the communications system and our modern reconnaissance, target designation and counter-battery warfare methods more effectively. We have to seriously increase the production and supply of high-precision projectiles and drones of various types. I know that changes are taking place, and they are happening quickly, I will talk about this later, but we still need to work on it, we need to consolidate this effort.

Additionally, I would like to draw your attention to two key priority and systematic tasks:

Firstly... This year, thanks to the consistent implementation of the state armament programme and the efficient operation of the defence industry enterprises, the level of modern weapons and equipment in SPAKAM as a whole has reached 85%, and all further plans in this area will certainly be approved. All of them."

Tacitly, he offered a small nod of acknowledgement to the Prime Minister of Rasolka, a solemn-faced man with an orange shenandoah beard who returned this gesture silently.

"Secondly... By 2127, the volume of production of weapons and equipment will be significantly increased considering the additional budgetary allocations. It is also necessary to continue creating the foundation for the Army's future, including the development and production of promising types of weapons, such as robotic systems and plasma technology, weapons using artificial intelligence technology and based on new physical parameters.

Moreover, we must further ensure that all operational information security is upheld at all costs, comrades. We must make sure to reliably protect and seal critical information about our system of administration, military and law enforcement agencies, defence industry enterprises, critical technology and personal data. This includes all data related to the Commonwealth's latest weapons and technology. Oceania keeps a close eye on us and we must respond accordingly.

Your Motherland expects you to deliver. Do not, I pray, disappoint her..."

Sunset to Midnight

With scouts reporting no other gathering of Fushcorian forces on sea, troops are rapidly redeployed to secure a perimeter around Kraitz. The estimated number of Actaviian troops in the area by 10pm is 9000, with 15 tanks and 60 AFVs. Luckily, artillery batteries built long before the invasion are in range of Kraitz.

A tremendous amount of planes were redeployed to the area once the Fushcorian fleet was spotted and now after arrival, they set off at 9pm to attack Fushcorian ships and personnel on the beaches and roads necessary for Fushcorian troops to be supplied.

By midnight, at least 8 Fushcorian vehicles can be seen from Actaviian lines in flames. At the cost 2 Actaviian bombers and 16 fighters.

The invasion has been contained.(for now at least)

All troops on the coastal areas have been put on high alert.

Actavii formally requests negotiations with Bravendetch under the supervision of Solefore. But only on the condition the negotiations take place on the soil of Actav-Vimio.

With this, millitant group Barvendetch asks that the Solefore, being having a Barvendetch base on it's land, to decline Actavii's request to force Barvendetch officials into Actav-Vimo. Although, the request could be accepted if the negotiation meeting took place in Solefore, as the controversial nation consider itself as neutral.

As a war still continuing in the large continent; Viactaii, the international community is sitting still on remaining neutral in the Actavii War / Fushcor War. Defenders, Actavii is not only receiving pressure from the main aggresors but also forced to receive terror from millitant group, Barvendetch. Although Actavii is overwhelmingly informing the international community about Fushcor's part in Barvendetch affairs, the accused nation denies it.

Protests were seen over the past months in Krowtse and Yovenhapen, two of the oldest cities in Fushcor to condemn the current administration holding power. Gorge Mariym-Vaas, current leader of the nation won the 2123 primary election by a landslide, succeding Mes Klonterinche. He has served the country for almost 3 years and is looking forward to serve another in his 2nd term.

The 2126 Primary Elections / Adanter is coming closer and will be held on June. Gorge Vaas is running for his second term in the mist of a war in Actav-Vimo. Current escalating situation in the battlefront creates Vaas's reputation and likeness decreasing among Fuskoriai.

President Vaas would be facing head of the Anchen Vimlov Partij / Party, Holand Mariet-Polenoff. The candidate has a strong economist background, and was the former minister of finance during Mes's presidential term. Anchen Vimlov Partij is known to despise the current administration's ideology.

Hope of change, the fate of the escalating war and Fushcor lies with the country's citizens decision.

The Government of Solefore, has announced that they will allow negotiations to start, however, the Government has announced a compromise between the two parties, with the first half of the Negotiations being held in Solefore, and the other half being in Actav-Vimio, with the supervision of both Solefore and Fushcor, if Fuschor is willing to supervise as well.

Fushcor, under the Vaas's administration declines the request to supervise both negotiation process that is located both in Solefore and Actav-Vimo due to it claming the nation has nothing to do with the group and isn't affiliated with it, despite Actavii's accusations on Fushcor. Vaas's administration reminds Solefore that even though both Fushcor and Barvendetch is at war with Actavii, it does not mean that they are in the same war.

After accusations against Fushcor by Actavii got sent to the international community, it is still unclear wether Fushcor appointed and is funding the millitant group or not. After more accusations were made by Actavii, Fuskoriai officials are slowly becoming worried if the information will spread more.
