Just a quick question to all you desert dwellers, how can a tiny nation of 8 million people dominatine the region of 1 billion others that despise it? How can a tiny nation of 8 million people turn a desert into an argicultural paradise while the other 1 billion are destroying it?

Bet you know about what nation I'm talking about.

Veneziean Central Television

To strengthen the military cooperation between Venezie and Basillandia a joint testing of a hydrogen bomb underground has been a success.

furthermore the two great leaders of each nation have shown colonial ambitions in lands from other parts of the region , as they have been discussing more information during the testing of hydrogen bombs and military drills.

in foreign news , the great leader neglect the claims shown by other nations in the region stating the following : "Our nation has always been stronger and I will not underestimate myself to answer to allegations of hatred and ignorance to history , we hope that those who are fond of themselves finally realize that they shouldn't interfere in other nations' affairs and rather focus on their own matters"

The Jaish al-Tahrir isn't going to become the ISIL of this region, just want to say that. They're the remnants of the old Sunni-led government's army, reinforced by less trained militias from the autonomous governorate of Nesarbin, which is Sunni majority. They only want to "liberate" Sahuria from "Shia dictatorship", hence the name 'Army of Liberation'. It wouldn't be their modus operandi to attack other nations, since they're insurgents, not exactly terrorists. The Shia government of Sahuria of course calls them terrorists to try and squash any sort of legitimacy they'd have.

I guess it's my fault for not writing a factbook for them, so I'll let this one slide. Let's just say the group admitted the attack in Nijad was done by a member of their group, but they denounce the attack.

I'd prefer if people would ask before using groups, people, etc. from another country.

I apologize, I've seen it done before but I apologize none the less. The plan was for it to be a sympathizer to them anyway not an actual member. If wanted I could rewrite the RP and just make up a new group? Everything shouldn't be just ISIS. You know?

A sympathizer is fine, no need to rewrite it. We should probably agree on what is ISIL's state in our alternate world, perhaps in Discord.

Terror in Nijad City Update: Was it Jaish al-Tahrir?

The Nijad City Police department have announced that this was NOT Jaish al-Tahrir. After a search of Officer Adivar’s home they found links to the terror group Ansar al-Sharia. However it seems that an Unnamed splinter group that is sympathetic to Jaish al-Tahrir did the attack. Jaish al-Tahrir has actually denounced the attack shortly after thier imposter claimed to do the attack adding more confusion to the mix.

Hey guys, so Greater-kurdistan just told me that he and Jebal shammar will be bowing out of the RP, since they have too many things going on in real life to be able to find time for RP.

He suggested that we could find a new nation to take on Kurdistan's mantle and say that a revolution or a radical change in the government occurred. I've sent telegrams to a few Kurdish nations to see if they're up to it. If none decide to come, I guess we can say the state somehow fell apart and the MEPACO council came to the decision that it was best to partition the nation among its neighbors (Jumhuriyat al iraq, Afsharid Persia, Kahokia, and Sahuria) to protect the well being of its citizens or something like that.

As for Jebal Shammar, we can say that protests overthrew the government and possibly have them unite with Abadi arabia.

It will be sad to see them go, as they were involved in the RP from the very beginning

North trideshia

Royal visit continues; North Trideshia to join MEPACO as an observer state; Sultana Nadiyya offers sympathies to Nijad

The royal visit of Saladdin I has concluded today after he and Sultana Nadiyya visited the North Trideshian National Opera in Tadjoura. Earlier in the day, the Sultana was seen with Saladdin's oldest son, Khawarizmi, watching a match of rugby, a sport the Sultana is known to enjoy. The monarchs were said to part in good terms, and hoped for another visit in the future.

The Office of the Sultana has confirmed she will be visiting Radovonia after President Vrubtchev invited her to visit his country.

During the 'Mutual Co-operation Meeting' in Jumhuriyat al iraq, North Trideshia expressed interest in becoming an observer state in the Middle-East Pact Organization. Joining the bloc would have longstanding benefits to the Trideshian economy, as well as improve relations with other member states. It is still unclear whether or not the Sultanate will be accepted as a observer state, although many experts believe there are no reasons to not accept the nation into the bloc.

Sultana Nadiyya has offered her sympathies to Nijad through her social media account, after the nation was hit by a terrorist attack. She said that terrorism was a plague that had afflicted the region for too long.

Yeah I guess we could do that, either one would work. As for Kurdistan, I'm going to give it a week to see if any country will join and take his place. If not, we can say that ISIS forces from Iraq attacked the country and caused massive turmoil. The terrorists were eventually driven out with help from neighboring countries, but the country was too damaged to be able to govern itself any longer, and is thus partitioned amongst its neighbors in order to protect the well being of its citizens.

Caliph Khaled announces colonial ambitions;  SEAT plant to be decommissioned in North Trideshia and sanctions to be placed on North Trideshia effective immediately

Caliph Khaled has expressed his desire to have colonies and spread the "Barkah" of sharia law. The conquering of Awkar (what was formerly portugal) in the Awkar-Andalus conflict and the naturalization and assimilation of Awkarians into Al Andalus is the blueprint for future success.

Caliph Khaled has announced that sanctions shall be placed on North Trideshia and Juan Ramon Calderon has announced that the SEAT plant shall be decommissioned as it is not profitable.

Caliph Khaled has called on Sultana Nadiyya to step down from her position of power in North Trideshia and has called her the "biggest hypocrite" of the region saying that she "lectures others on liberty and freedom, yet the citizens of her country suffer from low wages and limited freedoms due to her terrible rule".

Imam so Khattabi (Trideshian Imam seeking asylum in Al Andalus)  of Radio Free North Trideshia has called on her to step down due to the verse in the Quran:
“Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allaah has made one of them to excel the other…” [al-Nisa’ 4:34].
He also told her to seek a partner and give power to a male as he will be more worthy of power.
The Hadith of Rasulullah SAW also proves this as he said
“No people who appoint a woman as their leader will ever prosper.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 13/53).

when airplane motor sounds came into my hearing, and then BOOM BOOM is the
last thing I heard before I was knocked out by a piece of debris. Then I woke up
and the city center was in ruins, skyscrapers down, rubble everywhere and

Iraqi Prime Minister Warns Basillandia Against Colonialism

The PM expressed concern over Basillandia'so ambitious plan to colonize more territory, however the PM spoke very sternly on the matter.

"Basillandia's radicalism is no longer a nuisance or difference of opinion but a threat. Imperialism has no place in the world. This is a region of civilized nations, not animals. The Caliph may preach Islam however he wishes to his people but we will not accept his authority elsewhere."

This speech was highly controversial, with many politicians citing that this is not Iraq's job or authority. The foreign minister responded by stating:

"If Basillandia were to invade another nation in the name of colonialism, they would be in violation of international WA law. As the WA delegate, we have a responsibly to uphold WA law in the region."

Joint military drills and hydrogen bomb tests between Venezie and Basillandia are a resounding success and Caliph Khaled's goal of making a deterrent have been successful.

Caliph Khaled has already ruffled a few feathers in the region, with his enigmatic leadership in stark contrast to Basil Attar, former leader of this great nation. The location of the former caliph is unknown, but intelligence suggests that he is either in Mexico, building wells for the poor, or chilling with PSGs 222 million euro signing Neymar in Paris.

Caliph Khaled has his eye on the South American territories outside of the Middle East, namely the Falkland Islands occupied by the British and Southern Chile.
